All Thanks (A Letter to the Almighty God)

Dear LORD,

Saying thank you is using words to display gratitude. Showing thanks is physically moving to do something in gratefulness. Being thankful is simply feeling. All three is powerful, and yet, is it ever really enough? The days come and go so fast. Three hundred and sixty five days to submit and commit. Three hundred and sixty four nights to finish up. Four weeks per month and seven days, five working and only two not. Twenty four hours cut in half for sleep. Is it ever really enough?

To say is to do and to do is to have obedience. To listen. To behave accordingly. Easier said than done. Great efforts taken each hour. Appearance matters when rooting from the heart. What you see should reflect such a character. Our entire make up has the responsibility to express Your character. Some do, most do not. Others are not sure where to stand and the trying ones face adversity. Intense adversity. The type of conflict capable of disastrous outcomes.

After a few years, the weight numbs. Then more piles on and it is as if the process restarted. Baby to child, child to teen, teen to young adult, young adult to full adult. Wisdom develops for the blessed ones. The striving to reach such a point is difficult. Grueling, yet satisfying. A heavenly light shines at the golden gate. The end goal is clear. To settle in such a place relieves of the pain once felt. In a world so scarring, another one above is everything but. A place so fulfilling that the life below never felt real to begin with.

The King sits on His throne, no crown necessary. The definition of royalty. The true ruler of a kingdom. Others pale in comparison. A direct, serious hand in leadership while tender-hearted and compassionate. A lot of times you are overlooked. A lot of times you are taken for granted. You know it. How You handle it is another story. Proving Your assurance comes written plain in front of us. Wondering if Your words are true has grown unnecessary. Many speculate Your existence in general. The factor of faith has yet to be considered in the conversation. Most say seeing is believing. When really, believing is living. Not in flesh, but in spirit.

This is where the ending comes in. This is when the numerous amount of Your works is listed. Truth is, You have many. The ones who know and trust in You are aware. So to conclude, I write to you in the way I only know how...with gratitude, love, truth, trust, and honesty. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Author
