Leonard got from the shower getting dressed, opening the door to see a bloody Annette lying on the bed, the room covered in smoke. He ran to her, picking her up only to be grabbed by many hands, throwing him into the wall. He looked up to see Christabella and The Order. He staggered to his feet, only for the men to beat him down with clubs. Through his dazed vision, he saw another member pick up Annette throwing her into the raging fire. He forced himself to his feet, looking at the group, laughing. Grabbing one by the head, bashing his head into the window, taking his helmet from his head. Holding his neck, throwing him into the fire, walking after him. He saw Annette grabbing her running from the home, looking at the home placing Annette on the ground. Falling to the ground beside her. His surroundings changed to that of ice and rain. He heard a voice say. "Oh dear, we certainly have gotten ourselves into quite a mess. Haven't we?" The man laughed as Leonard looked up, seeing a man that looked down at him. "Embrace me, Leonard. You may write thrillers, but I can make our imaginations come to life. With your brilliant mind, and my original, creativity. We will tear the very fabric that holds our enemies until we tatter it. Who wants to be nice? Have we not tried being the kind-hearted, being goodie-two-shoes?" The man walked laps around Leonard. "I would say we have been gentle, me gentle? I forbid it. If we desire to win this game that no one can decide who or what started it, who cares who brought the chaos. I don't live in the past. We are warriors. We not only dress to kill, we 'gracefully dismember' those who come at the ones we love. Embrace the darkness, the true darkness. They want sin incarnate." He laughed, "I will make Hades seem sweet, however, I have better tastes in clothes." The man sat on a swing set, looking at an empty swing. "I know false teachers, are the worst. You're in the game or out, nobody has time to be living double lives." Leonard almost lost consciousness only for the man to smack the ground in front of him with a fireball. "We can't have you falling asleep, now can we. We have much to discuss." He walked over to Leonard, who looked at him. The man picked him up, taking him to the swing set beside him. "If I know you, which I'm sure I do, you will want something from me. I will bring the girl back to you, plus get vengeance for your mother. In return, you and I become one. I care for this ice realm, I also Love mischief. I have one, you have the other, I can avenge your loss. We both win you get your girlfriend, and I get another friend. We could weigh the pros and cons. However, I doubt you can stay awake that long."
Leonard looked at him. "Alright, you got yourself a deal." He whispered, losing consciousness. The man laughed.
Sitting back on the swing swinging, with a smile on his face.
Opening his eyes, he saw a woman looking over him, her eyes gentle. "Leo, you're alright."
He looked at her. "I'm not Leonard."
Annette looked at him, confused.
"Call me Vega. Your boyfriend and I made a deal, so you're going to have to deal with, the better of the two of us until I say otherwise."
"Vega, okay. Leo, you got hit on the head pretty hard." She sighed as he looked at her. "My house burnt down. The men attacked me while you were out of the room. When I saw them attack you with those clubs, I wanted to help. But I couldn't I'm so sorry."
Vega looked at her, sighing. Shaking his head, standing to his feet. "What are you doing? The nurse said you need to rest, lay back down, this instant, macho man."
"Shut up, lady. I told you who I am. Give that tongue a rest, slow that mustang down. Your concern is getting on my nerves. I have work to do. If you're worried so much, tag along. If not, shut up and stay here. You tool." He sighed, walking from the room, looking at his clothes to see a hospital gown. He looked around, closing his eyes becoming surrounded by black mist. Once it disappeared, he was dressed in a dark red shirt, and leather pants with chains, and studded military boots. "Much better." He looked at his hair as it too changed to white. He continued to walk from the hospital. He heard fast-approaching feet behind him.
"You called me a tool. Who do you think you are?"
Vega sighed, ignoring her.
The two of them walked towards Silent Hill. During the walk, Annette got quiet.
One Hour Later
"You're Stone Cold Crazy, I know you're not Leo." Annette sighed.
"That's the smartest thing you've said so far." Vega stopped looking at the gigantic structure in front of him. "Figured as much. They not only try to act the part, but they hide in the walls. Fanatics, Nobody has time for this." Vega rubbed his chin. "Stay put." Picking up an extra air-raid siren, walking up the steps.
He jerked the doors opens, slamming them close behind him. "Honey, I'm home." The people in the building looked at him, "Nice church, it's rather beautiful. However, it has some construction that needs renovating, an easy fix." He looked at them. "Too many rats and roaches hoarder up in this building, perhaps put a swing set there in the corner, Lisa can have that room."
"This is a sanctuary!"
"I doubt that woman you better do some repenting for that lie. Confess that lie and beg for forgiveness, in a proper church not a headquarter for corruption. That is the facts." He walked over to her, looking into her eyes with a laugh. "Hypocrites, this building houses hypocrites. I am a sinner. I don't hide behind a building and lifestyle. I am the most authentic person in these four walls, and that." Staring Christabella up and down. "That is something that startles even me. Of course, who wants to be nice? Who can tame me? You say I'm Sin Incarnate, I've tried to be sweet and I've tried to be kind. I've never been so free. I don't desire to be tamed by you, Christabella."
She looked at me. "You are filth that needs to be purified."
He laughed "Oh really, I'll be in the front, dressed to kill. You, sorry… all of you will join me soon, I'll make room."
"Blasphemy!"
"Demons!" Yega yelled as everyone gasped, looking at him. "What did I just reveal front-page news, keep me here much longer and I'll appear in every article in that newspaper. Practice what you preach! Oh, wait… You do, preaching Hades' lies of corruption to everyone. Don't practice what you preach. Oh, where are my manners? You lost this outside."
Vega laughed, holding the air-raid siren in his hand, throwing it at the feet of Christabella. "You poor delusional boy. What is your name?"
"Just call me Vega… The Cursed Warrior. Honestly, I feel much better being out of my mind. Seeing the fear on your faces gives me thrills. The Original one, surrounded by the False Teachers. However, the true king of love, war, and mind control have arrived. Let's bring on the darkness, ladies, and gentlemen."
Christabella looked at Vega, who smiled. "I've embraced the darkness. I've been reborn. However, call me crazy, or call me insane. You're stuck in the past. While I'm not only ahead of the game, but I am the true orchestrator of this game. Your day of judgment has come for what you have done to my mother and what's her name… ah who cares, names are so overrated, but my plans are simple to tear you apart limb from limb!" Vega laughed, spreading his arms. then skipped laps around Christabella, who turns around watching him, her heart beating in her chest.
