The Final Judgement

Vega looked at the people in the room with a grin. "Now that we've had our introductions, let's get down to business." He chuckled. "This group of fanatics is your typical Fanatics Villian type of scenario, you're all the same. You say that God tells you to do this and that to people, but where do you draw the line? I admit the woman you beat down was mouthy, but let's be real with one another. Did she deserve that punishment?" Getting his dagger from the sheath on his belt.

"She was sin."

"Yeah, yeah. Sin incarnate, that's your explanation for everything, but, on what level has miss-goodie-two-shoes offended you."

"Burn him!" Christabella yelled.

Two men got behind Vega, who got another dagger for his holder, ramming them into the men's chest, not turning to face them, jerking the knives from their chests as they fell to the ground. "Does anyone else want to try something else that stupid?" Vega looked at the group as they looked at him, "Have you even read the book that you think you are promoting? Faith without works is dead. I'm not sure you have faith in order for it to be dead." He looked at Christabella. "You're alone in this game, God is not here."

Christabella stabbed him in the neck. He staggered back, looking at her. Holding his bleeding neck, he laughed, pointing towards her as a fireball struck her in the face, knocking her back. Everyone screamed, running towards the door. Vega surrounded it with by a wall of ice. He looked at them. "Lambs without a shepherd, and a shepherd without a flock. Is it your sins that hold you here?" He threw a fireball at the group of people as their screams rang through the room. Sitting on a step, watching them burn.

Five minutes later

Vega stood from the steps walking to the door, placing his hand on the wall of ice as water covered the floor. He walked from the church to see Annette sitting on the steps.

She looked at him. "You're okay!"

He looked at her with a sigh. "You didn't wander off."

She ran into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck. Vega looked at her in shock. He then looked at his hands, wrapping his arm around her waist. He placed a hand on her head. "Even though I try not to, I can't help but love you. I know my life without you, there wouldn't be one."

Annette looked at the man. "Vega?"

He looked at her, getting out of the hug. "It's nothing, I don't know where that came from."

Annette looked at him. "Alright." She looked at her with a smile.

Vega looked at her, not seeing Annette in her place. He saw a young woman dressed in white, with long brown hair and beautiful emerald eyes. He smiled, reaching out to touch her, only to see Annette as he let his hand fall to his side with a sigh. "Let's go. There's nothing for us here." He walked away, Annette behind him.
