In the living room of the mansion, both Bryce and Jason were busy flipping through the thick old looking books in their hands trying to find the spell and procedure for making daylight ornaments...
...well Bryce was the was busy flipping through his grimoire trying to find a page about how to make daylight ornaments while Jason was having a hard time even understanding half the stuff written in the book. More than half of the book was written in a language he couldn't even read.
"Can you even read these?", Jason asked.
"Of course", Bryce answered. The grimoires were written in Latin. Janet had thought them Latin he could read them.
"Then since these books are yours and you can read them, shouldn't you know it's content?", Jason asked.
"I barely even know a quarter of its content", Bryce laughed.
"Then how long have you had them?", Jason asked.
"Not long. I only got it last week when I started practicing magic", Bryce said.
"Huh! Only last week? I thought you were from 'long and powerful bloodline of witches'. Then how come you only started practicing magic only a few months ago? Shouldn't you have started when you were younger?", Jason asked.
"Well, until two months ago I didn't even think magic was real so how in the world was I going to start practicing it", Bryce laughed.
"How didn't you know about magic when your whole family are witches?", Jason looked at Bryce with a confused gaze.
"Well, all of our parents and other relatives were killed when we were young; massacred you might say, and since then we lived with Janet, who was like a grandmother to us. She could be annoyingly overprotective sometimes", Bryce said.
After saying this he further explained to Jason about what he knew about his family, he even told him a few things about the three gems and how each of the three half-brothers were in possession of each one.
---
"So you're saying it all started when you received a strange visitor. Then your grandmother who was a witch sent you on a quest to a dead forest where time moved unpredictably, to retrieve the gems and protect them at all costs. And after retrieving them, you ended up time traveling and ended up here, in Beaconsdale, two months ago?", Jason summarised after hearing Bryce's story.
"Yeah! That's about it", Bryce said.
"Huh!", Jason said as he went back to going through the stuff written in the spellbook that he couldn't even read. He didn't even want to ask anymore questions.
Bryce also went back to searching for the spell to make daylight ornaments.
After a couple more minutes of searching Bryce's eyes widened as he skimmed through the page.
"Jason check this out", he said as he passed the grimoire to Jason.
"You know I can read this, right?", Jason said.
"Then what have you been doing all this time?", Bryce asked.
"...Trying to understand", Jason made a wry smile.
"Well it is written in latin so... Anyway! It's an evolution spell!", Bryce said.
"And what does it do?", Jason asked.
Bryce's face immediately fell. Hearing the name of the spell should already tell you what it does.
"It's an evolution spell, what do you think it does? Conjures a magic football?", Bryce said and sighed. "It's a ritual that transfers magic from the witch casting the spell to the supernatural who the spell is being targeted at. The excess magic transfer causes the supernatural to evolve into a stronger supernatural being. Like those pokรฉmons", Bryce explained. He had only heard of a Pokemon from Cashel.
"So it turns a blood sucker into a super blood sucker? Can you do it?" Jason asked. If they could try out the spell, then he could get stronger, which means he could get a lot better at controlling his bloodlust. He already knew how to control his bloodlust but his vampiric aspects still acts up when he sees blood.
"Well it says the things we need are; a magic circle, the caster's blood, the target's blood and a soul. But I have the gem so we won't need a soul. So yes, I can do it!", Bryce said, really confident in his abilities.
"Then let's try it", Jason said.
"You just read my mind", Bryce said

Chรญlia mountains, Immora.
Charles along with Wilson and Ivan walked through the portal and appeared at a different place. They were now on top of a mountain and everywhere they looked, all they could see were mountains. Another peculiar thing about the place was that, the sky was yellow instead of blue like back on earth.
Another thing was that there was no sun in the sky even though it should be somewhere in the afternoon. Instead, there were two moons in the sky. The two moons would stay in the sky whether it was day or night.
Even though there was no sun, almost everything worked as if there was a sun.
"So this is Immora!", Wilson said.
"Yep", Charles nodded.
"It's kinda beautiful", Ivan said, looking at the colorful rivers and waterfalls that roam 'round the mountains.
Charles and Wilson couldn't help but nod in agreement with Ivan.
Charles turned to the portal and and put a ward around it before casting and Illusion and making the portal become invisible. He didn't want anything to walk through it without their knowledge. He could easily reopen it any time he wants since the other side of the portal was not sealed and was still open.
"Okay! Let's get going. We don't want to spend much time here", Charles said. He didn't want them to stay there for too long since the wraiths roamed around much more when it gets dark.
He casted a flight spell and immediately started floating above ground. He casted another spell and Wilson and Ivan also started floating.
"Let's go", Charles cheered as he started to fly towards the endless horizon, pulling Ivan and Wilson along with his magic.

Bryce and Jason found some chalk in Charles's study. They drew a circle on the floor and a pentagram inside the circle. They lit five candles and placed them at the vertices where the pentagram and the circle met.
"Are you sure this is the right thing?", Jason asked as he saw that what they were about to do was different from the illustration in the grimoire. First, there were two circles. One for the vampire and one for the person to be sacrificed. There was also a witch who was surrounded by five candles but no circle.
What they had done was clearly different. They had drawn only one circle instead of two and the candles had been set around the circle.
"If we go by the grimoire, we'll have to sacrifice a person. But we aren't doing that. And since we're using the gem instead, I had to improvise since there isn't anything like this in the grimoire", Bryce said. If they were to go by the grimoire, Jason would have to kill an innocent person.
Jason asked, "Are you sure it's gonna be safe?".
"I guess we'll have to find out", Bryce said.
They both entered the circle and stood opposite each other and then started the ritual.
Bryce made a small cut in Jason's palm with a small knife and smeared his blood across the circle. The cut healed right after. Bryce also did the same to himself and then healed himself with the healing spell.
He then carved a special rune his right palm and another in Jason left palm.
"You ready?", Bryce asked.
Jason nodded.
"Okay!"Bryce said.
They placed their palms with the special runes together. Bryce's eyes turned bright blue as he started with the spell.
As the spell continued, Bryce could feel his magic, flowing through his hand to his palm and entering Carter through the rune in their palms. As the magic was entering his body, Jason incredibly powerful as he felt power coursing through his body.
Bryce interlock the hands to prevent Jason from pulling away and ruining the spell. Jason's eyes turn completely black as thin black veins appeared under his eyes.
"Concentrate", Bryce said when he saw Jason's face change.
Jason nodded and tried to not let the feeling of power overcome him.
Bryce repeated the spell over and over.
The circle started glowing as the flames lit on the candle grew bigger and hotter as it change color and became blue.
A strong force exploded between their palms, which sent Jason flying a couple feet away and crashing into the ground. Bryce was surprised. That wasn't supposed to happen.
The flames on the candles went out which meant that they had completed the spell.
Bryce suddenly felt as if his leg would give in anytime.
"Hey, you okay?", He asked Jason who was weakly trying to get up from the floor.
"Yeah", Jason weakly replied.
Bryce walked to Jason's side and offered his wrist to Jason.
"Drink up", he said.
Jason shook his head refusing to drink Bryce's blood.
"Just do it! You need it to complete the evolution", Bryce said.
Jason finally agreed to Bryce's blood after hearing that. He sank his fangs into Bryce's arm and started sucking.
After drinking his fill, the veins under his eyes dissappeared and his eyes returned back to normal.
"Gosh, I need to sit down. I'm starting to feel dizzy", Bryce said when Jason released his hand. He was already feeling weak before he decided to become a blood bank for Jason.
He weakly walked to the nearest couch and laid down. The bite started to heal and his eyes also went back to normal.
Jason who had now recovered got up from the ground. He looked at his palm and the rune Bryce carved had disappeared. He looked at the werewolf bite on his side. It hadn't changed at all. It was still the same as it was last night.
His eyes fell on one of the closed curtains. They had closed most of them so that Jason wouldn't be exposed to the sun.
He got an idea and slowly started walking towards the curtain. He opened it and let the sunlight into the room.
