The Bite of '87

Jeremy has felt like a son to Henry over the past few years. Which is why Henry was worried when Jeremy told him that he was getting a Job at a new Freddy's restaurant. "What if the killer is still there?" Henry asks. "Henry, I'm eighteen now. I can protect myself. Plus, this guy is too much of a wimp, and goes after helpless kids. So, if the bastard is there, I don't think I have too much to worry about." Jeremy says. "I guess so. It's just... I worry about you... You know? You've become like a son to me..." Henry says. "Henry, I promise you that I will try to be careful." Jeremy says. "Thank you, Jeremy. That's all I ask." Henry says. Jeremy chuckles slightly. "See you later, Henry." He says, as he waves and starts to walk out of the door. "See you, Jeremy." Henry responds, waving back.

Jeremy arrives at the restaurant and walks inside. The building would look very colorful and lively, if it was daytime. But he isn't here during the day. He has the night shift, unfortunately. He noticed the new animatronic models on the stage. Something about them unsettles him. He starts walking towards the security office. Then, he hears a child's laugh. "What? There shouldn't be any children here right now." Jeremy says, and then follows the sound to its source. He then sees, what seems to be, a plastic statue of a blushing and smiling little boy, with blue eyes, brown shoes, dark blue pants, and a red and blue striped t-shirt with two buttons on its belly, and a propeller hat with the same pattern as the shirt. The statue is holding a sign that says "Balloons!" in its left hand, and a yellow and red striped balloon in its right hand. "Why does everything here have to be so fucking creepy at night?" Jeremy asks himself. "Hi!" The thing says, as its eyes move to look at Jeremy. Jeremy lets out a small scream of surprise and kicks the statue by accident. After he realizes that it's probably just an animatronic, he says "Fuck! I hope I didn't break it." He then hears the sound of small gears whirring. Then, he sees the animatronic at his feet again, looking into his eyes. "What do you want? I'm just here to do my fucking job!" He yells at the animatronic. After Jeremy yelled that, the animatronic speeds away. "That thing is fucking creepy... At least I can get back to work now." He says, as he makes his way to his office. He finally gets to his office and sits down. Then, he hears a phone ring. He answers it and hears a voice he's never heard before. It is a man. Presumably another employee of the restaurant. The man is talking too much for him to be able to respond. However, he absorbs the information that he is given. The information being: He has a flashlight, the building itself can't run out of power, and he has a Freddy head that he can use to trick the animatronics' optical sensors.

The first night wasn't too bad. It was a bit stressful, but it wasn't anything Jeremy couldn't handle. As Jeremy walks out of the building, he passes a music box that he saw on the camera. It had a familiar feeling. However, he couldn't quite put his finger on why it was familiar. Suddenly, a voice fills his head. "Save them." It says over and over, but occasionally, it says "Save him." "STOP IT, PLEASE! MY HEAD'S STARTING TO HURT!" Jeremy yells, as he falls to his knees, while clutching his head. But the voice doesn't stop. "WHO'S THEM?! WHO'S HIM?! I NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU WANT ME TO SAVE!" Jeremy yells. Suddenly, the voice stops. "Am I going crazy?" Jeremy asks himself, as he gets off the ground. Then, he walks out of the building.

A few days had passed, and Jeremy had been having strange nightmares about the pizzeria. He's probably just letting the bad memories that he has associated with this place get to him. Regardless, he has one more day at work. This was due to an incident that had occurred the day before. Something about an employee using a mascot suit to do... something. But the good news was, he had the day shift this time. He walked through the front doors, to see some children sitting at the tables. However, he notices a scene that was all too familiar to him. "Quit being a chicken and get closer to it! You were the one that wanted to come here!" An older-looking boy yells at a younger-looking boy. "But Foxy scares me..." The younger-looking boy responds. Jeremy didn't want this scene to escalate any further, so he walked up to the two boys. "You stop that! If he doesn't want to go near the thing, he doesn't have to!" Jeremy says sternly. The older boy scoffs. "And why do you care?" The older boy asks. "Because I've seen how this could play out. Let me ask you something... How would you feel if you were the cause of his death? How would you feel if that animatronic suddenly sliced through his stomach, or bit off his head?" Jeremy says, as the older boy seems to become overwhelmed. Then, he runs away in shock. Jeremy turns around and kneels down to meet the younger boy's eyes. "T-thank you..." The young boy says. "No problem, kid." Jeremy says. He then notices something behind the kid. It looked like bonnie. Except, made of darkness, and its teeth and eyes were pure white. He then hears William's voice whisper his name. "What?" He whispers, confused. Suddenly, Foxy goes haywire and jumps at Jeremy, biting off his frontal lobe.
