Chapter 10: jealous

(POV:Leo)

I fell asleep in the library. I started dreaming about a bifigual I met over two hundred years ago. She was the closest I had ever been to one. She was the reason I started having the girls come to the palace. Her powers manifested after her sixteenth birthday but before her seventeenth, her powers had stood out against those of the sorcerers of the country. Many of the sorcerers tried to capture her and use her, they even sent out bounty hunters. Soon enough the nobles found out about her and wanted her to have their children so they could be more powerful than the average person. Within two years of her finding her power she had been captured and imprisoned by the highest noble of the land who brought her to me as a gift. But I became very close to her and she ended up marrying the head servant and living in one of the country houses.

The dream did not feel out of the ordinary until I saw kit out of the corner of my eye. I could not look at her directly, but she was there watching everything, she was in my head.

'Kit!' I was shouting but not awakening from my dream 'Kit get out of my head.'

'What?' she asked me.

'Get out of my head, Kit.' she wasn't listening. 'Get out of my head, NOW.'

I suddenly woke up to find Julius shaking my shoulders and Kit standing at the door. She was crying and staring at me.

'My king, why did you shout at Kit? She doesn't know what she is doing, how is she meant to get out of your head if she doesn't know how she got into it in the first place?' Julius was almost yelling at me. Why was he protecting her so much he didn't even know her.

'Why are you protecting her and yelling at me, you don't even know her.' I pulled him closer and whispered in his ear. He became even more angry at me.

'I protect her because you are a fool and you do not care for anyone but yourself. And I do know her, we met in the village and became friends over a year ago.'

Kit seemed to become increasingly more afraid of what was happening in the room.

'Come here bunny, I will not hurt you.'

'Bunny, why are you calling her that.' Julius started to growl at me.

'Because she is a bunny look at her she is so small and shy.' I started to smirk at her.

'She is mine Leo, mine do you hear me. You do not touch her.'

Kit walked towards us trying to hide her laugh.

'Your name is Leo, I thought your name would be something scary like Lucifer.' she then laughed and Julius joined her.

Outside it had begun to become light and the birds started chirping.

'Bunny, I suggest you get back to your room and wait for Julius to bring you your clothes for the morning.' she scowled at me and so did Julius.

She left the room and Julius ran after her. I started laughing but then became jealous. I wanted Kit and now I had to compete with Julius too.

I will win over my bunny, she will be mine.
