Chapter 12

Eri's POV

As I walked with my heals in hand many of the boys look at me like I'm crazy while others looked in amusement but I just ignore them.

I notice that the second year's haven't started classes yet and some of the third years are just arriving.

Well that explains why a big ole school like this seems so empty these last three days. Makes alot more sense.

As I step into the dorm building I see Tyler sitting in the first floor common area reading a book. As if he sensed my presence, he looked up at me scanning my body from head to toe.

"You know its highly inappropriate to walk around in only socks." He says closing the book.

"Like I give shit." I retort and he seems suprised a bit by my colorful language, but the only sign of that was his raised eyebrows.

I walk past him without a word then I remember something.

"When we first met" I say and he looked up at me with interest, "if I remember correctly, you said you were a second year?" I ask pulling up the memory in my mind replaying it.

"Yes." He says with a small smile.

"And Jacob said your twins......right?" I ask narrowing my eyes into tiny slits.

"Yes." His smirk slowly turned into a smile.

"So how are you in different grades." I ask thinking deeply.

"It took you this long to figure it out?" He says an amused smile on his face.

"I don't really care, I'm just curious." I pause for a few seconds, " and its not like I spend time thinking about you guys or anything." I add wondering why I never thought about it before.

"Oh really." Tyler says disbelief clear in his tone.

My mind drifts back to Jarred and I remember something important. He lives in this building and if I find out which room he's in I can go talk to him in private.

"Hey do-" I stop myself from asking Tyler the question. He's probably going to run back to my dad with information.

"Never mind." I say instead.

"Are you sure? It sounded important." He asks his smirk growing.

"Yeah, anyways why are you in different grades?" I revert to my earlier question.

"I skipped a grade." He says in a simple tone.

"That's makes sense." I pause to think about it, "you must be really smart then." I conclude.

"I don't like to brag, I much prefer to keep it to myself." He adds with an odd look on his face.

Who wouldn't want to brag about something like that?

He definitely up to something, some sort of plan or master plan. Plus if my dad has someone like him in his corner I'm royally screwed.

I give him a brief glance before walking off.

"Wait, I have a few questions for you." He calls after me.

"Sorry my feet are tired form today." I pout at him while walking backwards, "but your free to come by my room later." I say with a devious smirk.

This is my chance to test how close he is to my father, but he's smart so it all depends on if he takes the bait.

"As intriguing as that sounds, I don't think your father would approve of that." He says watching me intently.

I guess he's not taking the bait.

"That's too bad, your loss." I say facing away from him.

I'll need another way to get him to my room. I think to myself as he watchs me enter the elevator with a small smirk on his face.

I guess its game on.

"Hold the elevator. " I hear a familiar voice say.

I tear my gaze away from Tyler to meet stormy green eyes.

He steps into the elevator not saying another word and I can't help but feel guilty.

"I know you were just trying to apologize all day but I couldn't let you." I says pressing the button for my floor.

"Why?" He asks not meeting my gaze.

"Because if you said anything and someone overheard rumors would start to fly and my dad would expel you."

"What?" He asks suprise taking over his features and he looked at me.

"You wanted to apologize for this morning?" I ask hoping I was right.

"Yeah. " he says with a sigh before scratching his head.
