FAMILY

I suffered the loss of my best friend, my brother and my buddie. I didn't get out of bed all week and I quit my job. My girl friend Chloe has been healing and I've been helping a few times.

"Please Kane, you have to get out of bed and eat" Chloe said but I refused to. "I miss Noah!" I yelled. "Dad please come play call of duty" Liam says and tries to pull me out of bed. "Leave me alone and I don't want to play" I said and they left.

~10 years later~

"Papa! We missed you" My 4 year old son said while I walked in the door and Liam just said 'yeah'. "Hey Liam just because your 17 don't mean you don't miss your father" I said. "Yeah I miss you it's just mom. She missed you even more" Liam said right when Chloe came in. "KANE!! I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!" She screamed and hugged me like there is no tomorrow.

"It's not like I was gone a whole year" I said and laughed. "Well, lets go eat dinners ready!" Chloe said while taking Jr to wash up. "This is so good!!" Jr yelled. "Yeah! Now lets get you to bed" Chloe said. "Can daddy tuck me in?" He said and Chloe laughed. "Yes your dad will tuck you in now lets get you dressed first" Chloe said while following a running Jr.

"Dad can I talk to you?" Liam asked. "Yeah, what's up?" I asked. "I want to sign up for the military like you and Noah did. Can I?" He asked. Well he was in the military when he was just seven. "Yeah you can but be careful" I said and walked into jr's room. "How's my big boy!!" I said. "Daddy can you read me a bedtime story?" Jr asked. "Sure"

"The End" I said and pulled the covers up. I walked out and into our room. "Hey" Chloe said. "Hi, Liam wants to go to the military" I said. "Why? He can get hurt!" Chloe explained. "Yeah, I know but he wants to finish Noah and I's job" I said and changed and laid down in the bed. "Well, it's his choice" Chloe said. "Good Night" I said and kissed her forehead. "Night" She said back and turned off the lights.
