Chapter 33: One last time

My eyes gently opened and the back of my head hurt like crazy. I placed my hand on the back of my head and I winced. Whoever hit me, sure did it hard. My vision was a bit blurry and I tried to focus where I was. I rubbed my eyes and I focused a lot better. It was a white, empty, and cold room. I saw Damien laying there.

"Damien?" I said and I ran to him. He was unconscious. I grabbed him and I shook him awake,

"get up, get up!" I said desperately and he groaned. He noticed me and his eyes went wide,

"Adryan?"

"I'm here, I'm ok" I held him and he calmed down. I looked around the room and I saw Jacks also laying there on a corner.

"Wait here," I told Damien and I went to Jacks. I also shook him awake and he flinched almost attacking me. "Calm down, calm down. It's me Adryan" He rubbed his face and he closed his eyes.

"Where are we? And why is it so cold" Damien said as he shuddered a little. "I don't know but we need to get out of here," I said. Jacks sat down. The door opened and we all flinched. Aristole entered the room with a smug on his face that I wanted to punch. "Aristole," I said as I got up and clenched my fists.

"Oooh, he's brave" he pretended to be scared. Damien stood next to me and placed his hand on my shoulder, "calm down" he said.

"What do you want? And where are we?" I asked Aristole.

"You're in my breeding room. I'm keeping you here so that your body gets used to the cold, and I will chop you up after" he said casually. "There's no way in hell I'm letting you do that to all of us," I said. I never expected to have this much rage. I never thought I would be standing up to someone and protecting the two guys who are fighting over me. He laughed,

"you've been out for days, it's finally Wednesday, The finals" It's Wednesday already. I've been out for that long?

"Guards!" He called and they entered the room grabbing us. The guard Jacks punched grabbed him and punched him in the stomach. He held his stomach coughing and the guard laughed,

"that's what you get for touching me!" He yelled.

"Leave him alone!" I yelled as I struggled in the guard's arms.

"You stay out of it!" He yelled and grabbed Jacks. The guards took us to the dressing room. There was a new stylist.

"Where's Soline? I asked.

"She retired," he said as he stared glamming me.

"Oh my god, that is one big bruise on the back of your head" He said and one of the guards looked at me making sure I didn't say anything. "Nasty fall," I said and he winced. "Damn" They dressed me up exaggeratedly formal, this time. Because it was the finals. They finished and they took me to the waiting room. I saw Jacks and he looked beautiful and charming. Damien looked beautiful as well, they took care of his eye bags and made him look perfect. It's funny how they cover up the bad things about this place and make it look clean and perfect. I went and talked to them. "You guys look good," I said trying to cheer them up.

"You look better. No, you're perfect" Jacks said. Damien rolled his eyes and couldn't keep his eyes off me. I felt uncomfortable and I started blushing. Jacks laughed a little and then stood up and so did Damien. "Whatever happens, it's been a pleasure knowing all of you," Damien said.

"Same, even though we're still fighting for Adryan. It's been a wild ride" Jacks said.

"I know I haven't chosen one of you but know that I love you guys" I said and we hugged each other for a long time. The show started and they presented us one last time. The host was more excited than usual. She danced, yelled and did more crazy stuff.

"The day has finally come, the finals, Oh my god!" she screamed and jumped. What did she drink to have this much energy?

"Oh my god," she said again and took a deep breath. The judges stared at us like if we were their prey. I gave them a look making them know that I was not afraid of their games, and this crazy mess. I stared back at them and they looked away. I shrugged and I concentrated on Karen and her craziness.

"Let just get this over with!" She grabbed the envelope and ran her fingers all over it.

"The time has come, everyone!" The fans cheered. Everyone was on the edge of their seat.

"Ok, ok, ok, ok," she said multiple times and started opening the envelope.

"The winner of Starsdom is..." she fully opened it and she looked confused.

"Huh?" She said and we all looked at each other confused.

"The winners of Starsdom are..." "Damien and Adryan!"

"Jacks is in second place" she said and the crowd gasped. What? How did Damien and I win?

"Ohh, I understand. So Damien and Adryan tied with the same votes and are now a duo," she said and the crowd went crazy. We tied this means that no one is dying. We all hugged each other. We did it.
