First Week

After the 'battle' group left that area as if scared that someone would make them plant trees there in compensation! But there was one thing that changed, everyone felt fear. Not towards the Trial, but directed to Argon! He didnt look like a hero for them, but a devil and the blade on his back made them shiver! Even Lin Ke had no way to defend against might like that, as it was powerful enough to kill anyone under Void Core with ease. While the area under the sword Qi effect wasnt huge, the destruction and speed of this swordlight werent something they could even react to!

Its been seven days since Ren and his team started journey in the Valley. During this time they met two more groups of Bloodlight disciples, but they were weak! In the end they had no power to even escape, while Argon and Lin Ke didnt even take any action!

Ren Li felt really bad these days, not only he managed to see many corpses for the first time in his life which made him puke again and lose any face he had left... He also had to collect all of the cores they managed to gain! And they did gain a lot! While they moved to the inner parts of the valley a lot of Beasts taveled in packs so the aura of Cultviators werent scary to them at all! Not to mention that this trial was taking place every 10 years and members of their groups ate many of them! Yet while meeting this overpowered group the only outcome was to lose few of their members before others realized how scary they were and fled!

Another reason Ren felt bad about was how close Lin Ke and Argon become! He was smited by the Goddess himself and many times imagined himself as the prince charming of the stories saving the beauty, making her blush at his every gaze and many more! While he didnt have perverted thoughts yet thanks to him being ignorant of these things yet, being able to take a look at her assets was the part he was the most pleased about in this trial!

Lin Ke managed to form Spirit Sense, which in turn could easy make her feel many of the horny gazes! While she felt it was below her dignity to step so low as to talk about, after few days she was already bothered a lot! While Luo Cheng seemed like a monk and never tried to even look, three members of the group stood out a lot! Ren Li, Brutus and Long Chen more or less didnt pay attention to the journey! They either stared at her or other girls, propably comparing them which in turn made her feel extreme disgusts towards the trio! While she didnt mind Argon looks, as he was capable enough to be allowed to a peek, she shared her worries to him! They became kind of close, thanks to him making great impression on her! And Argon, who already felt that the beauty wasnt pleased with this at all... How dare they to molest his girl! The trio didnt even know that their behavior made them the target of this Monster called Argon!

Ren Li had also many other thoughts, so far he was only able to see many of the plants on the pictures in the books, but seeing them in reality was diffrent! He felt admiration towards nature for creating them and each time he passed some rare ones he admired them no less than his Goddess!

Whats more he managed to gain a bit of respect from his team thanks to discovering few spiritual plants that were worth a lot. While their value wasnt something that would make them stab each other in the back, for typical Outer Sect disciples they were rare treasures! It was also the only way he could offer any value to the team. While he wasnt completly useless, he was by far the one they would throw away without hesitation!

Journey was kind of boring with a bit of rest every now and then, thanks to them not being scared of alarming any potential group of Cultviators of Beasts they didnt have a rule to not make a noises, as in truth they wanted to lure prey to them! So during the travel Ren managed to get to know Mai Linh and Luo Cheng a bit as everyone else were more or less ignoring him! While the flirty girl was often making him blush was emberassment talking to her felt pleasant! Only then he realized that till this day he didnt really talk to any girl as of yet... No wonder he had no courage to talk to his Goddess! While he managed to catch the attention of Lin Ke every now and then thanks to him explaining spiritual plants they passed or the Beasts they met, it was just that. He didnt even manage to talk with her for a moment about something diffrent! While he swore to himself to make up for it soon the first week of the trial passed.
