Spirit Net

The Journey towards the central area of the Valley was easier than they imagined. While they managed to met two Spiritual Beasts of the sixth stage, one of them fled the momement they spoted it, the other one was slain without much problem under siege of the entire group!

As for Cultivators, most of them at most wanted to explore some inner areas, not going deep at all. After all for most it was nothing more than a trial where they could obviously gain a lot if they performed really well, but if they provoked something they couldnt deal with, having their corpses eaten and their dantians becoming tonics to the Beasts wasnt out of options!

The group managed to meet only one of their Sect Core disciples team. After a brief moment and short exchange the groups parted moving towards diffrent direction, as there was no point of entering any conflict, as for cooperation it wasnt worth it! Lin Ke group had power that could crush the other one, no one wanted to become cannon food for others! So the Core Disciple made some excuses and fled as fast as he could!

Its been already over ten days since the trial started. According to the distance they crossed at most within three days they should enter into territory of the Overlord residing in this Valley - the Beast meant to be ultimate challenge for the trial takers. While the Valley had natural 9th stage Spiritual Beasts, they were mostly the weakest, of the lowest value or those that were yet to be sold. While Overlord here was special in a lot of senses and meant to be a test for anyone brave enough to challenge it!

Lin Ke after days of travel looked as bright as ever. As a proper lady she insisted on resting at the very least 8 hours a day which she used to rest, eat a grand meal, take a bath and more! She had special treasure that helped her in this regard a lot. It was a miniature Palace that could enlarge itself many times over and become perfect place for camping! While it wasnt anything impressive, only mid tier Spiritual Artifact it allowed her to have time for herself and relax. As for others? Even if they owned one like this they werent allowed to use it! It was forbidden to use treasure like this on the trial, but then again Chosen were special.

The group was currently sitting in the main hall of the Palace while enjoying the meal made by MaoMao. Lin Ke was kind enough to allow the group eat together in kind of safe enviroment while at the same time disscusing about their plans mostly how to beat the ultimate Beast! Just before they reached their end of the road for the day, MaoMao spotted low tier Beast that was supposed to taste delicious! She didnt have much knowledge regarding diffrent kind of them, but she knew which were tasty! She was also a passionate cook during her free time, as she believed only the best meals are worth eating!

At this moment Lin Ke frowned and took a little orb from her interspatial ring. "Hmmmm so its like this" Making some noise to herself she started frowning.

"Ahhh Elder Sister Lin i am soo envious of You. To be honest the biggest reason i trained hard as a kid was to get access to the Spirit Net" Mai Linh voice was filled with envy when she looked at the orb! While it wasnt anything precious, this orb represented something she has been yearning for whole life!

"Yeah i cant wait to be able to use my Spirit Orb as well" Long Chen voice followed, his was also filled with envy!

Ren Li looked at the orb, but he had no idea what it was or what use did it have! He was filled with shame as it was obvious everyone here knew just based on the looks they were giving to the orb filled with all kinds of jealousy and envy.

"Sister Mai whats the Spirit Net?" Ren Li in the end couldnt help but voice his thoughts! He was a kid inside after all, he just couldnt contain his curiousity even if it meant that he made himself look like a joke again!

At his question nine pair of eyes turned to his face instantly. Some were confused, others thought he was joking and some had absolute disdain! Lin Ke looked at Ren and was actually thinking that he was pretending to not know to give her some face. She was actually pleased! This kid looked like a silly idiot, but he had some decent thoughts.

While Mai Linh didnt share Lin Ke opinion and thought that he is just ignorant as he can be or more to say she knew it. After all they talked a bit during their journey and she also knew that he spent his whole life on the Mountain, even country bumkin had more common sense than him!

"Its said that there exist a supreme expert in the Dao of Forging. He created a treasure called Spirit Net that was meant to connect all places in the galaxy using natural energy flowing in the every part of the universe. Be it Void, Planets, Stars or some places we dont know of. While our Plane has very limited access to this Spirit Net as it is limited to the plane itself for normal Spirit Orbs, only those who own Void Spirit Orbs can gain access to the World beyond and they are very, very rare here." Mai Linh was explaining slowly and with a patience, after all she was mature enough!

"The Spirit Net itself is meant to be a place where Cultivators can make all kind of deals. Starting from buying treasures, selling slaves, hiring assasins, looking for Dao Companions etc. Its also a place where some organizations post news, be it fake or real. But those who can use it, more or less know whats happening in this Plane at all times, as most things worth noting are there for anyone to read about. They have also another use, which is the most common one, its used as a means to long distance communication, Senior Sister Lin just received a message earlier"

"But only those who fully unlocked their Spirit Senses and crossed 6th stage can use this orb, so out of all other people no one can!" It was well known thing in the World, any random kid knew about it! As it was more fameous than any Sect or Cultivator, but Ren Li just learned about it which in turn made him look like a complete retard!
