Before the Battle

"I hope with this, we will be able to slay this Beast with no problem" Lin Ke voice slowly reached everyone present as they finally ended their meeting where they finished battle strategy

"Dont worry, as long as i am here this Beast is nothing!" Argon bragged once again in hopes to leave even better impression on her! While he already felt, that she fallen for him and he was about to get the Beauty and her wealth, he still felt that he had to perform 120% of his full power to amaze her even more!

Brutus wanted to say something, but stopped himself. He wasnt this Wolf match, while he wanted to put false bravado to impress the girl, he felt like his life was worth more!

Everyone else stayed silent, while having diffrent thoughts. But they all felt one thing, relief! Their battle plan mainly relied on Argon as he wanted to show off, which means that the danger of the battle was very low! No matter what said and done they were happy that this idiot was showing off, as nothing could compare to their safety in cruel allien enviroment!

Ren was no diffrent, his head was full of imaginations when he was slaying the Wolf with a single hand, while using the other to embrance the Beauty to save her life! Yet reality was also present, as he had no combat power at all. Lets not talk about killing the Beast and saving the Beauty, if he dared to embrance her, she would propably kill him on the spot!

Yet no matter how harsh reality was, he felt with each passing day how Argon was closer and closer to her! Just a little more and who knew if his Goddess would be taken away by this ugly man!

How unjust! Only he here was handsome enough to match her, as everyone else were just ugly ducks compared to her as far as he was concerned! Its been days he was thinking how to get close to her, he didnt manage to find any openings... He didnt even have a chance to talk with her at all. Reality was really sad...

Mountain Wolf as his name suggest loved living in the Mountains, this one was no diffrent. His lair was made on the only small hill in the whole Valley which happened to be very close to the heart of the entire place.

On the big rock under the sun laid Wolf, that looked no diffrent than a small hill himself. While over 5 meters tall and nearly 10 meters long even while sleeping his presence was known to everyone who were brave enough to come close enough to view this spectacular sight.

Abem was the most typical one of his race. Mountain wolves liked to eat, sleep, mate and then sleep more! He was no diffrent, his favourite thing to do was sleeping. He could sleep for days without problem, only to wake up when hungry, finishing his meal and sleeping again! Unless there was a pretty female to mate he would just go back to sleep... He was raised from a small puppy in the Sect. He didnt need to hunt, as the food was delived to him by servants. He didnt need to look for mates, as there were plenty of them in the place he lived. He didnt need to fear some Beast Hunters or anyone who would try to kidnap then sell him, as he lived in the safe area on the Elder Mountain! He was as carefree as he could get.

But then everything changed, he was taken from his family by the Elder and put as final Boss of some dumb trial. He didnt want to go! But his parents warned him that if he refused his carefree life would end... In the end after some promises from the Elder he was more than happy to be there! After all, he was promised best food and he could pick any mates... Even those arrogant ones who always looked down on him and refused any form of contact with him! Hell, he could even take these cute and sweet mates of others... As the Elder was the owner of their entire pack! All he had to do was to stay here for a month, then eat some humans and he was ready to go!

Yet after two days here, he felt bored and fell asleep! Waiting while awake was just super tiring and he despised being tired the most, so he just fell asleep... His natural senses were strong enough to pick anything happening around him anyway, so sleeping while drolling about his new mates he could take away from these dumb brutes... Ahh how good his life would be after going back!

The poor wolf didnt know, that he was cheated... and made into stepping stone of some lowly human kids...
