Meeting of the Chosen

With the three parties waiting for her, before the 20th day Lili group finally reached their destination.

Waiting for another two days both Lin Ke and Garret were feeling anxious, but for a very diffrent reasons! As for Aran, he was just feeling annoyed.

When the last chosen group made it close, their didnt really try to hide their presence. It was obvious they would the last to arrive and the big event could already even end so it was pointless. When Lin Ke learned about this, she instantly sent MaoMao to invite her to their camp!

Both girls had their own ambitions and goals that were by no means small. Clans behind them werent something any random person ever hope to be part of, their talents were exceptional and futures bright! They were also similar with another thing, they were both nagged by their elders to make the most of this trial even if it means taking down the other chosen of their Sect!

When Lili learned of the invitation after a moment of thought agreed in the end. After all, even if Lin Ke wanted to attack her, doing so in such a way would make her lose all her reputation and standing in the Sect. After all, not only she was chosen, but she was also important member of the Scarletblood clan!

Inside the hall of the small Palace Lin Ke owned sat 4 people, 2 on each side. Lin Ke only took Argon for this meeting, as everyone else were irrevelant, while Lili also only took one - Ashley.

Ashley was in fact her friend, she was high born as well. Being no more than 16, she was at the peak of 6th stage and also mastered intents! She was very sweet looking girl, with looks kind of similar to Lin Ke. The only diffrence being that, her hairs were purple and her face was level below Lin Ke. She was by no means Beauty, but not on the level of Goddess! She was also one of the safes Scarletblood clan put on Lili thanks to her 'feelings'.

Looking at the two supreme Beauties sitting there Argon felt his blood boil. While Lin Ke matched his tastes and was more mature, which in turn made her better developed... The Young looking Lili was on a bit higher level and her. If not for her body still being more childish than womanly, she would for sure be one of the so called nation toppling beauties! While Ashley was someone he would go on a normal day as well, compared to the other two she was just 'normal girl'.

"So i am here Sister Ke, what did You want to talk about?" Lili voice was soft and sweet, very quiet but sounded like heavenly melody. Argon had to admit than even if he didnt see this girl, her voice was enough to make him believe she was a supreme Beauty, as a mortal simply couldnt be owner of a voice as good as this.

Looking at this young girl, that was only 13 Lin Ke had a mixed feelings. Her looks was something every girl envied, yet she didnt even develop into a proper woman... While she was confident in her looks, she still felt inferior! Yet she also knew that her talents were worth even more envy, but she was a fate cultivator. Unless they gave up on their special abilities, their combat power was the weakest out of all cultivators. Their position was high, but couldnt match these supreme experts. And she would one of them!

"Sister Lili, i will speak the truth. I am curious about, whats Your goal in this trial?"

"My Elders asked me to not lose them any face, as for other things my goal is to complete one of the main objectives" Lin Ke formed a cute frown yet again! The so called main objectives related to killing either the strongest Beast or another Sect Chosen!

"You should be aware why i asked You to come here?" Lin Ke asked with certanity

"Yes. You are afraid, that after the battle You will be attacked by multiple Chosens i suppose?" Lili Scarletblood smiled at her which in her eyes was no diffrent than laughing at her!

"More or less. Do You want to hear my offer?" Lin Ke calmed down and smiled on her own

"Before You do, tell me why should i even consider that" Lili made a mild smile at her yet again. While Lin Ke felt her anger rise, she reminded herself that the girl next to her is only a kid no need to be angry...

"Well i know exactly what kind of Beast is there including its special ability. It means, that i can take it down without much effort. As for the other thing i am willing to work with You for the sake of our Sect and share the merits half to half"

Lili was kind of anxious as her feelings of danger were really intense here. As she didnt believe that it came from other disciples, it had to be this Beast? Letting others test the waters first wasnt bad idea... "Before i consider this, tell me about this Beast to show Your good intentions"

Hearing this Lin Ke cute frown deepened, but then it left her as she decided that it wasnt that bad of a choice.

"I have a Alchemist disciple in my group. I believe he can tell You all details and answer all question related to it. Argon if You could please" She smiled to Argon who instantly stood up and left.
