15 Years <Part 1>

Fifteen years flew by in the blink of an eye; It felt almost unrealistic that it had been that long, but the pain from the training I had to endure ensured that it was real though the results were astronomical.

I was taught several things over these years, from history to several theories made by my parents, knowledge the world beyond the barriers did not even know existed! It was indeed a place someone who seeks knowledge would want to live.

Though not once had I been outside the barrier, "I was not ready," they said; I wasn't disheartened or sad as not once had they lied to me because they saw no need to lie.

My combat awareness was pushed to absurd levels, even making it possible for me to predict moves accurately before they are even thought of! It was a sort of euphoria-like state, as it gave me a nigh 360° like vision.

Whishmae, for one, had grown to become over 100 meters tall, and anyone hearing she was once as big as a baby would probably not believe it, lest they witness it. She was a rank eight beast at only 15 years of age, very likely the first in history, and the reason for this was because she needed to experience a life or death battle!

Nonetheless, she was still a powerful soul bound/familiar to have, as mother Maria had mentioned that even she would have a tough time dealing with the phoenix and would most likely come out heavily injured due to Whishmae's varying abilities.

Whishmae's two forms were named by yours indeed, the form with white feather name as "Lights descendant," and the pitch-black form as "Emissary of the Abyss."

That aside, I was currently in a spar with father Danelius using two katanas made by myself, mother Aria and mother, Lea. One of these katanas was pure white, with some gold lines on it, and if one would look closely at it, they would also see several inscriptions on it, possessing different features!

The other was a pitch... no, it was an abyssal black colour with blood-red lines possessing the same inscriptions as the first. These swords were ranked third out of ten; the ranking order went as follows...

Base

Silver

Gold

Mysteria

Relic

Faith

Chaos

Soul

Myth

Divine

With the highest being Divine and the lowest being base; hence, the swords individually ranked as soul weapons but combined, they ranked as a single myth weapon, and they had the potential to grow as they had done these past 15 years.

Generally for a weapon to be ranked as a soul weapon, a soul will need to be infused into it, granting it consciousness, as well as the ability of the beasts whose soul was infused into the weapon.

This made these two katanas the first of their kind, as they had souls the moment they reached received the last strike of the hammer. We named the black sword "Jinsei" as in life, and the white sword "Shi" as in death.

The reversed mentality was based on the truth of the matter itself; before one is born, they see nothing but darkness, and upon death, one returns to the light.

Their personalities were fascinating, so to speak, their strength was ever-evolving! Their scabbards... an extension of the sword itself, as we made it with scarce materials. Their combined combat awareness also aided the user of the blade.

They were indeed a pair of swords befitting a king.

***Back To Present Time***

I was lost in thought as I felt a sword aiming for my neck from my right, as I instinctually used "Jinsei" to block and swung the heel of my left leg, aiming for my assailant's head. It connected but was stopped by their left hand!

"You're distracted again, Xidorn!"

The person who said this was master Danellius, and as for who Xidorn was... it was none other than myself. It was the only name given to me by my parents, and it meant "Truth-Seeker," and the reason for this was due to certain events that started following my seventh birthday.

When I turned 7, I had awakened a bloodline limit that gave me complete control over many laws or concepts.

Three of the most powerful ones being space, time, and void. I could semi-manipulate the area around me in an almost 300-meter radius and had complete control over the room in a 30-meter radius! Time, on the other hand, was a little more complicated.

It was not easily feasibly manipulated as even as I had trained over the years, I was only able to warp about 2 minutes backward and vice-versa. It was extremely taxing on the body and torturously painful on the mind.

Last but not least was Void; now, I will not say I had control over this concept as I did not. This was one of the hardest things I've had to manipulate; keep in mind I said "manipulate" as complete control was only wishful thinking.

Controlling this was like manipulating air worldwide simultaneously while having millions of butterflies beating their wings in every direction... saying it was impossible would be an understatement.

But then again, my existence was deemed to be impossible by my parents. The void acted as the most outstanding offensive and defensive card, highly lethal and infinitely absorbent of any and everything, an all-rounder.

But due to my low control of it, I initially kept using it unconsciously, and that was when I got one of the blindfolds all my parents wore... though mine was significantly different! The materials used were the best of the best to ensure they would not ever degrade.

The next were the inscriptions and seals on it; several seals were placed on them to limit any mana or aether flow, seal surges of power into the eyes, nullification, dampening, stagnation, redirection, and a few others.

It was an apparent threat to myself and others if I did not know how to control the outbursts, so the seals made perfect sense! Doing this, though, also sealed the other abilities I had, so I would have to take off the blindfold to use them.

As well as having seals place all over my body, each one limiting my physical and non-physical prowess by 5%... I never took them off since the day I asked them to be made; I only disabled them from time to time. But out of the 20 I had on my body, no more than six came off at one time!

As I grew older, I had complete control of the unconscious outburst... after some mind-breaking training, of course! But of course, I did it, and this was the reason why they gave me the name "Xidorn" {Truth-seeker}, as I had control over concepts governing life itself.

"You're still too slow, father!"

"Maybe?!"

I jested, making some distance between myself and father Danellius, sheathing Jinsei only to feel a fluctuation from behind as I thought mother Luana was sending an entirely physical roundhouse kick straight at my torso!
