Year 41 of Nortus

- Currency? I should order to forge a lot of coins for preparation

- My liege, have you thought of a name for our new currency?

- Let's call Adelia for now. I really miss her.

- Your wife passed away 2 years ago. So you want to honor her ,through the name of coins?

- Yes

Coin makers rush all day and night to produce three kinds of coin for the currency.

Coins must be detailed and rough enough for the blind to know.

Gold coin is round, most detailed, circled center-holed and smallest of the three

Silver coin is round, detailed, no hole and rough edges

Copper coin is square, least detail, no hole and biggest of the three.

A year later

- My liege, the coins are ready

- Post an announcement about our new currency, Adelia.

An order from our king

I will distribute a new currency, Adelia.

Every big town will receive batches of coins.

Currency exchange from old to new one lasts for 3 months

After 3 months, smaller towns will receive another batches.

My aim is in this year, everyone should finish their currency exchange from old to new

Next year, anyone who still uses old currency shall be in prison.

I am looking forward to your cooperation and obedient

- Our king has done for us a lot of things. Low taxes, community construction, guild establishments, executed dangerous criminal and racial treaties.

Within six months, everyone is done with currency exchange.

But…

- My liege, the people comply with our order, but there is a small issue.

- They don't call our currency Adelia, as we originally ordered

- What do they call?

- Quink

- Perhaps Adelia was not a great idea. What is the reason?

- They often think that the coin's sound would be better for the currency's name. They often cling clang altogether . The most significant sound they make is Quink they get struck hard together.

- This problem is not a big problem so leave it be

- But the capital's people still call Adelia in favor of our king
