Early in the morning, the two young men were still lying naked on the bed. Master Jiang, Lao Xin and ten servants rushed through the front door and went straight to the bedroom. Master Jiang dragged Jiang Jingsheng out of the bed.
Master Jiang said angrily, "Lao Xin, take his clothes and drag him out." He looked at Yang Yusheng. "You rubbish, just stay as rubbish. Do you think you can seduce my son? If you come near my son again, I will end your poor life."
Yang Yusheng cried heavily, and the servant dragged Jiang Jingsheng out of the bamboo forest. He could hear Jiang Jingsheng calling his name as Jiang Jingsheng was being drag further and further away from the bamboo forest.
Three days later, Lao Xin appeared and gave Yang Yusheng a letter. After reading the letter, he smiled.
Lao Xin, "The young master said that you should wait for him by the river tomorrow night. As soon as the carriage comes up, you two will go to Ocean City. Remember, tomorrow night."
Yang Yusheng nodded.
As night fell, Yang Yusheng was waiting for Jiang Jingsheng. The carriage stopped in front of Yang Yusheng, and Master Jiang walked out with four servants.
Master Jiang said madly, "I have told you to stay away from my son." He looked at his four servants. The four servants walked over, grabbed Yang Yusheng and pushed him to the ground. "Lao Xin, give me the bottle."
Lao Xin said, "Master Jiang, if the young master knows about this, he will..."
Master Jiang said madly, "This stays between the six of us."
Lao Xin reached into his waist and took out a bottle and handed it to Master Jiang.
Master Jiang shouted, "Lao Xin! Holds his head."
Lao Xin hold Yeung Yusheng's head; Master Jiang poured the liquid poison into Yang Yusheng's mouth. Yang Yusheng struggled for several minutes, then blood spurting from his nose and mouth. Four servants tied Yang Yusheng's hands and feet. Master Jiang took out a huge iron lock and tied it to Yang Yusheng's feet. The four servants threw Yang Yusheng's body into the river.
Master Jiang said wildly, "You will never be with my son, you will be trap forever."
Several days later, Jiang Jingsheng was lying in bed, and the night sky was shaking with thunder. Lao Xin put the food beside the bed.
Jiang Jingsheng asked sadly, "Lao Xin, tell me the reason for his departure."
Lao Xin said, "Master Jiang gave him two thousand gold ingots."
Jiang Jingsheng asked sadly, "Why would someone choose money over love? Does he know how sad I would be? Do you know where he went?"
Old Xin, "I don't know, Young master?"
Jiang Jingsheng, "I have no one else to trust except you. Thank you for always telling me the truth." He frowned sadly. "Lao Xin, I dreamed of him last night. I dreamed that he was crying. Do you think he is happy where he is?"
Old Xin said, "He should be. His life will be better because of those gold ingots."
Jiang Jingsheng looked at the new clothes on the table. He said, "Who does my father want me to see tomorrow?"
Lao Xin said, "Lady Hai."
Jiang Jingsheng said, "No matter how many beauties pass through my eyes. None of them can change my life. I'm tired of these empty feelings. I'm tired of being alone. I'm lying here at night staring at darkness when I should be staring at you." He walked over to his bed and sat down. "Lao Xin, tell father I'm not going." He lay down on the bed facing the wall.
Lao Xin knew that since he broke the news that Yang Yusheng left with the money given by Master Jiang, Jiang Jingsheng felt distressed. Jiang Jingsheng has been eating badly, and his skin has turned into bones. There was a sense of guilt deep inside him that kept eating him. At night, he dreamed of Yang Yusheng's face, bleeding from his mouth and nose. During the day he would see how miserable Jiang Jingsheng was. He knelt down suddenly and cried, "Young master, I'm sorry, I lied." He cried. "I don't deserve your trust."
Jiang Jingsheng slowly sat up from the bed and looked at Lao Xin who was kneeling on the ground and refused to get up. He asked, "What did you say? What lie did you tell me? Make it clear."
Lao Xin said, "I can't take it anymore, I can't hide it from you any longer, I lied, the date I gave you is wrong, the fact is that Master Jiang found out that I sent message between the two of you. Master Jiang ordered me to give Yang Yusheng the wrong date." He looked down at the floor, not daring to look at Jiang Jingsheng. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry, I lied. The truth is, Yang Yusheng didn't run away. He..."
Jiang Jingsheng already knew that Master Jiang must have done something unforgivable, but he still wanted to know what Master Jiang did to Yang Yusheng. He asked sadly, "Where is he? Tell me?"
Lao Xin burst into tears and sobbed badly. He said, "He died. Master Jiang..."
A sudden sadness rushed into Jiang Jingsheng's heart. He asked, "How did he die?"
Lao Xin said, "Master Jiang asked his four personal servants to hold Yang Yusheng and I...I..." He paused for a moment. "I held Yang Yusheng's head, so Master Jiang can pour the poison into his mouth." He sobbed. "Young Master, I'm sorry... I should have told you earlier. I think if I told you that Yang Yusheng left because of money, maybe you could forget him."
With tears streaming down his face, he looked at Lao Xin and asked, "How long has it been?"
Old Xin sobbed, "Two days before you went to wait for him."
Jiang Jingsheng asked, "Did he die quickly? Did he suffer?"
Lao Xin shook his head and said, "He drank the poison and died soon after. He didn't suffer much."
Jiang Jingsheng lay on the bed and closed his eyes. He turned to face the wall, he said, "You get out. I don't want to see your face again."
After Lao Xing left the room for a long time, Jiang Jingsheng got up from the bed, walked to the door and locked the door. He fastened a tight rope onto the ceiling beam. He stood up and sat at the desk. He picked up the brush and wrote his last word. He went back to the bed with tears in his eyes.
Jiang Jingsheng held onto the rope loop and said softly, "I would rather wait for you all my life, knowing that I will see you again one day." He sobbed. "Than knowing that if I wants to see you again, I must enter the land of no return."
