The next day, I went to the address that Steven gave me. Holy cow! The taxi dropped me off in front of HK Architects. It is a leading architecture firm in the world. Everyone of my classmates dream of having internship with them. Since University G has a highly reputable architecture faculty, they were offered two internship spots per year but retaining rate is pretty low. You need to be really good to stay otherwise after the year you will have to leave.

I gave my name at the reception stating I am representing Emperor Empire and was ask to wait.

"YaoYao, is that you?" a sweet voice sounded. The source was a blonde hair, blue eyes, puckered lips porcelain doll look alike.

Great. Of all the people, I bumped into Liliah, ex-classmate, ex-bully, ex-annoying faculty goddess who brag on how many boys she slept with and all the parties she enjoy. Come from a rich family too hence it was rumoured she changes her wardrobe as season goes by.

"Hi Liliah, you work here?" I asked.

"Of course, I was one of the selected trainee from our class. HK has offered a permanent position right after so I am a qualify architect now. What are you doing here? If I remember correctly, you didn't even graduate,"she was smiling while saying that but it sounded so vile.

"Ah.. Ms Qin, there you are,"another voice join in.

A respectable man in his fifties appear,"Do you and Liliah knows each other?"

"No! Don't put us in the same basket. We were in the same class in University G architecture faculty but we were never close plus she didn't even managed to graduate from the course. She clean up good now with business suit and everything but that doesn't make her my friend,"Liliah answered before I could.

"Is that right? Too bad then Liliah. The biggest project in City G and the most prestigious one that you were trying to bag belongs to your 'not so close ex-classmate'," he didn't sound impressed with Liliah behavioral conduct.

"Ms. Qin, Andrew Sim at your service. I am one of the principal partner of HK Architect Firm. We will try our best to work with you to build the Emperor Empire City. It will be the most exciting happening for the next three years," he offered his hand which I shake firmly to give a good impression. "Please follow me and I will introduce you to your partner who will headspear this project at HK."

Liliah unhappiness was written all over her face. A small triumph jingle in my mind.

"Felix, Ms. Qin is here,"he announced in the workspace.

A suave bald man came about,"Nice to meet you darling. Come with me, I will introduce you to our main team and protect you from all the wild animals in here." he hold my hand and pull me towards another guy in spectacles called Gillian, who is in-charge of running ground work and material studies then another lady called Naomi who is in-charge of administration and communication. "This is our basic team but we will get help here and there if we need from other colleagues when and where required. Now, you and I are going to study the mapping of the old town quarter and I need your input on a few of my ideas."

My brain hurt at 6pm after spending the whole working day detailing everything, even the smallest detail like fire hydrant with Felix. I don't even know if that is the right expression. It's like a disturbing echo boomerang in my head to and fro.

I hailed a taxi to go back to my grandparents. To my surprised there was a guy who is not Tommy helping in the shop,"Who are you?"

"I am the extra hand. Tommy is too busy doing delivery so Steven sent me to help with stuff in the stall. I'll go execute your grandpa order now miss. Give me a shout if you need me," he scurried away.

"How is your work YaoYao?"my grandfather enquired as he came from behind the kitchen counter.

"It's really a different life working in the corporate world. I understand why mum and dad are always busy now. I hardly get time to breath with the meetings, discussion, preparation and all,"I whined.

"But it's good right,"he sound worried.

"Of course! There is so much to learn with endless potential to the project. That's the thing I was planning to discuss with you today. The entire area will be developed, I am not sure if we should remain or move yet,"I sighed.

"Don't worry. Steven said he will arranged something when the time comes," he replied.

"He also asked for our permission to be with you,"my grandmother chipped in.

"He did?" I was really surprised. Steven is old-fashioned it seems. Maybe that's why we don't get pass the kissing stage.

"Yes my dear. Such a charming young man. He also sent extra help. I believe you have met Andy. Strong fellow, he could draw the water from the well ten time faster than your grandfather. The muscle is real cotton candy like your grandfather's in the old days,"she smiled dreamily.

My grandfather cleared his throat,"Well, Steven is a decent man. I approved. Your man said he will take care of everything and he is trustworthy so far hence I don't see the reason to panic. Don't worry and focus on your study and your job. "

"He told you?"I wanted to brief them about what happened to reassure them I was just busy if in case I go missing in action.

"Yes, he give us the address of this apartment where you are going to live together. He said he will drop a spare key for us,"my grandfather reassured me.

I went back to the hotel room after since all the room at my grandparents are taken by the helpers. I thank them sincerely and asked them to call me if there is any problem at all.
