HIM

Tears from heaven have been crashing on the living room window for about fifteen minutes. When I arrived, I didn't even have time to admire the mansion I was going to live in, as the sky had started to growl louder and louder. Then gradually, the droplets turned into rain. So here I am, admiring the blackness of the sky, thoughtful ... I wonder how my mother and sister are really doing. They are not emotional, you must always pull the worms out of their noses so that they can express themselves.

My phone rings, I take it and see who this call is coming from ... My mother.

She must be very worried about me, I have never left the house before. For her, it's a first to see me go far away without her being able to take care of me. And that scares him, I know that.

I pick up the call.

- Hello?

-...

- Yes Mom, I'm fine and I got there.

-...

"Don't worry, I'll eat morning-noon-night, I will brush after every meal, I won't sleep too late, and I won't create problems for myself," I said wearily.

-...

- No mom, you're not bothering me.

-...

- Okay, take care of yourself. I love you, Hi May 'for me.

-...

- See you.

I hang up and realize that the rain has stopped. The sky begins to become bright again. I can finally get out, even though the air is rather cool. I leave the house with my car keys. I take my things and take them to the living room. Luckily I don't have much to put away, my mom and sister have arranged everything to make things easier for me.

I am now examining my small apartment. The living room is not too big, there is just enough space to place sofas, a table in the middle, a mini plasma screen on the far right of the living room. Next to it is a small fitted kitchen, a staircase leading to two bedrooms: one for me, and one in case someone is visiting me as well as a bathroom in each bedroom.

I open a bag full of school supplies, take it and go upstairs with it to my room and start putting them away in the different drawers. Then, I remove my PC which I place on my study table, next to my other books. I go back down the stairs to take my last bag of clothes, cosmetics, etc ...

After I finish packing my things, I take my mother's bowl of frozen spaghetti, and put it in the microwave, waiting a few minutes. I remove the spaghetti with a tea towel, put it on a plate and eat it with gusto. When I finish eating, I put my plate in the dishwasher, go back to the kitchen and turn on the TV.

When I see that there is nothing good right now on TV, I decide to take a nap, which will certainly prevent me from sleeping at night but, which will make the hours of driving exhausting pass.

This is when I appreciate being free in my actions, to do whatever I want at home. Finally, I start to stand on my own feet. A broad smile is born on my face and then I fall asleep.

I wake up and take my phone to see what time it is: 23 h 45 min. I get up, go to the bathroom to rinse my face, and come back to the bedroom. I open my closet and take out my clothes for tomorrow. I've already had my schedule so I'm looking at it and picking up the notebooks and books I need for tomorrow.

As I predicted, around midnight yesterday, I turned around waiting for sleep to come but hardly lost. And finally at three in the morning, I ended up falling into the arms of morphea.

Woe to me since I wake up at seven forty in the morning. Realizing that I will be late, I jump up from my bed. I run into the shower to brush my teeth and rinse off quickly. I dress with one sleeve of my T-shirt without arms showing my tank top. I grab my bag out of the way at lightning speed and put on my shoes reversing the pairs. Hair in disarray, I run out of the living room, lock the door and slip into my car.

I drive as quickly as possible, making a superhuman effort, not to exceed the speed limits. When I get to college, as if I have been holding my breath, I let out a big sigh of satisfaction. I look in the rearview mirror and understand why on the way, an old lady looked at me strangely. I'm wearing half a tank top, my t-shirt is on one arm and I forgot the other arm. Something that I correct quickly. I leave my hair disheveled, put my shoes back on correctly, grab my bag and get out of the car.

I admire the tall buildings of Straveville University painted in red and white. Girls and boys are crawling everywhere like ants. It's so different from high school. I watch boys greet each other with smiles on their faces and girls jump for joy when they see their girlfriends again. And it reminds me of May '.

Being a science-economics student with a passion for math, my first class will be math. I am stressed as well as happy to spend hours listening to the teacher's voice explaining the techniques and formulas to me. I'm looking for room 48 and tired of not finding, I ask a brunette girl to show me the room. Which she does quickly since the bell rings. I thank her and finally arrive at the place of destination.

The bell having sounded for five minutes, I enter the amphitheater, regretting my delay. Fortunately, no one sees me. I look around looking for a free seat and find it next to a mixed race boy.

- Hi.

He ignores me like I haven't said anything. Okay.

Can't wait to see how this year unfolds
