TRAINING PART 18: Tears of Love!

I sat by Jace’s side, and hardly dared to say anything. What could I say? He had warned me about Tyler, and I didn’t listen. And at the end, he was right.

Me – How much did you hear?

Jace – All of it, since the first moment he tried to kiss you.

Me – Jace I’m sorry.

Jace - I told you he loved you.

Me, putting my hand on his – Yes and you were right, and I should’ve listened to you … You heard what he told me right?

Jace – Yeah.

Me – Did you hear what I told him?

Jace – Yup.

Me – And…

Jace, smiling – I love you too.

I looked at him smiling, surprised. I expected anything but that. My eyes started tearing up as I looked into his. He was crying, and I knew not why.

Me, puzzled – Why are you crying?

Jace – Tears of joy, or gratefulness I don’t know. I just felt lucky to have met a girl like you. Tears of Love, maybe?
