WAR PART 1: A night of great loss…

Everyone was getting in the buses. The panic could be read on people's faces. Somehow I couldn’t help but wonder whether this whole thing was not a mistake. Everything from accepting the leadership role, to even accepting to play a role in this war.

It was too late to back down now, even if I wished I could. I couldn’t allow myself to doubt, not at the beginning of what seemed to be a journey to death. Every agent had already received confirmation of the routes early in the morning.

Embarking on this journey, we had to make sure we all knew exactly what we had to do. As the people were getting into the buses, my stomach started aching. I had a gut feeling, like something was about to happen, something bad.

Jace – You alright? You seem worried.

Me – Something feels off. I don’t know it’s just a bad feeling.

Jace – We’re all scared you know.

Me – No! It’s more than fear. I really have a BAD FEELING. Better make sure we’re well prepared.
