Chapter 6.2

Even he’s a bit annoyed, he need to treat her nicely. Instead of talking to her. He order drinks for her. He is talking wit the waiter when the drinks arrive. Noah heard the lead vocalist ask for a audience, “This next song I need a partner hear to sing with me,” the vocalist said. The crowd start to come in front and volunteer. He look at the vocalist, he seem looking on the different direction. He follow his eyes and saw where he’s looking. The vocalist ask the crew to come near her. And the crew did what he ask.

Noah see how here eyes sparkle specially when the crew help her get in the stage. He hold tight in his glass. He feel it again, the unexplainable feeling. ‘I need to wash this feeling off’, he said. Noah get up from his seat. He is walking toward to the washroom. When he is inside washing his face, he hear them.

“this song is dedicated to those, loving someone secretly”, the vocalist said.

Ian look at the vocalist, she still cant believe that he choose her to sing with him. Specially now he’s singing one of her favorite song.

Noah come out from the washroom as soon as he hear her voice. And he open his phone, took a video. Since he is far and no one notice what he is doing.

The song ended, she smile at the vocalist. When he gets near her she ask for an autograph. The vocalist with his bandmates give there sign to her. She is smiling from ears to ears when she come down from the stage. Then come running to Neil.

When she get closer she brag. Neil mess her hair. “I’m glad this made you happy, Am I forgiven?”, Neil whisper to her ear.

In happiness of Ian she hug Neil. And Neil caress her hair. “your forgiven”, she whisper.

From afar Noah witness everything. He want to come back in the table but his feeling. Its uncontrollable and it is visible in his eyes. He chose to stay away from his friends. Trying to enjoy the night. And unconsciously he keep drinking. When he feel tipsy he leave without biding goodbye to his friends.

Ian notice that Noah is leaving. And she even notice that he is drunk. He is not walking straight. She felt nervous. She bite her lips, she felt torn.

Neil notice Ian, she look uneasy, and h ask why, “are you ok?”.

“no,” she answer.

Neil panicked, “why, did something happen?”. He ask again.

“hmmm.” She bite her lips, “I saw him, leaving”.

“who is leaving”, Neil ask while his eyebrow furrowed.

“Noah”, she whisper.

“and why you look worried?”, Neil ask.

“he look drunk”, Ian answer. “can I follow him?”, she ask.

Neil nod, though he allow her. He will follow her.

Walking out the bar, someone stop Noah, by clinging in his arm. Noah look who cling is his arm. He glare on the girl and remove her hand around his arm. As he proceed walking out. When he is near on his car that is not far from the bar. He felt someone holding him back. He thought it was the girl earlier he snap, “can you not understand! A simple look in the eye!” as he turn around. Then he realize it was not the girl from earlier it is Ian. Noah saw her eyes getting hurt, seeing her sad all the liquor in his body wash away.

Seeing her make him shock and cannot speak any word. He don’t know what to say after snapping on her. When he know what to say he saw her running away. “your so stupid!”, talking too himself while kicking his car. Kicking his car did not help him, he enter his car and knock his head on the stirring wheel hoping it will get his senses back.

Ian felt shock and hurt. She just hold on to his shirt to stop him from falling. She cant understand why does he need to be angry. ‘did I do something to him, did I offended him somehow..i don’t understand why he hate me and where is that anger coming from’, this is running from her head as she run back inside the bar. Hiding her tears.

Neil got shock seeing Ian coming back fast. He is about to ask when he see her eyes sad. He just hug her.

While looking blankly, she felt someone tapping her shoulder. And that tapping brought her back. She look whose tapping on her shoulder. It was Jean. She smile at her and ask, “why?”.

“hmm.. I don’t want ask for details but I cant stop myself from wondering.. you don’t have to answer.. I just want you to know that we are hear for you”, Jean replied to her. Ian could see from her eyes that she is worried for her.

All she can do is hug her. To assure her she is fine. She don’t want them to learn what Noah did. Though it hurt her a lot.

Jean knew Ian will not speak. And she let her be.

Past noon when they finish there report for the next day. Though there project is only halfway done. They call it for a day. Mau want to relax, but when she open her there schedule. She pouted in disappointment. Then whine about it, “next week, is the start of the exam!”.

Jean chuckle, seeing her whine. “then much better, the sooner it began the better.” She said.

“That’s right, because it only means after exam we don’t much have activity.” Jhen said.

Ian giggle on them.

Upon hearing her giggle. They stop and look at each other. Then Jean suggested, “why don’t we sleep over at Ian. We can finish our project and review for the exam”. Mau and Jhen nod.

Hearing them plan without asking for her opinion. Ian sigh, “and you didn’t ask me first”, she said.

“What is the use of asking you, if we can crash on your place”, Jean said.

“Yeah, and we promise to bring snack”, Mau replies.

“Though dinner, breakfast and lunch is in your care”, Jhen boast.

Mau and Jean slap her. Jean whisper, “wrong! How can she allow us!”.

“tsk..tsk”, Mau react while shaking her head.

Seeing them, plan in front of her. As if she is not there. Ian just sigh on them. “ lets go to my place, you can stay there as long as you want. But..” Ian purposely stop midway of her talk. And it seems she grab there attention. Waiting for her next word. Ian smirk before continuing, “ you have to share on the expenses and bring some grocery.” She finish.

“yes!!” they exclaim in unison.

“ oh before I forgot, you can come tonight. Ill send you the address”, Ian said before living her friends.
