Chapter 7

Swaying her feet, while waiting on the bench. She glance her phone several times already. But her cousin still not sending or calling her. "its getting late, I been waiting him for almost an hour", Ian whisper while looking in her phone. She continue whispering, "but I got no answer from you! You told me to wait for you!", tears are forming in her eyes. "If you cant fetch me you should tell me", she say while wiping her tears. Ian is looking down and her tears wont stop. But she stop wiping her tears when she notice a handkerchief. She look up with tears running down in her cheeks. Her eyes widen when she see who is giving her handkerchief, she get up and turn her back at him. She wipe her tears around her cheeks and face him.

Noah don't know how to react, he feel that he want to wipe her tears but he doesn't want her to be feel harass. He let her do what she please. But when she face him again, he feel his world stop spinning. It's the first time think a woman look beautiful even when her face has traces of tears. Though he thought it is not good to see a woman crying. 'I am being unreasonable!', he said to himself. His mind is busy reasoning to himself but his body has different plan. He raised his hand that holding a handkerchief, he move closer and wipe her tears gently. Being close to her is making his mind and body panicked. He only realize what he have done when he feel her warm breath. When his hand pass through her nose. He mentally smack his head to wake up his senses. His eyes look in her eyes to read her reactions. Noah surprise on her reaction. Her cheeks is painted red, that made him whisper, 'is she blushing?'.

Feeling her cheeks burning, she want to step back. But her body wont listen. She like the feeling being near to this man. Even when he gently wipe her cheeks. She didn't take her eyes off him. She watch every move he make. Her upset feeling is gone. Though she want to ask what he is doing here. She doesn't want to ruin the moment. She want to savor the moment. Because for the first time he didn't ignore her, he show her his gentleman side. Erasing all her hurt away. And it's the first time she feel her heart beat so fast. More fast than the time he is around, as if her heart want to get out from her chest. 'does he hear my heart beating', she said to her self. Her heart beating is blocking the noise around them.

They were not hearing anything as if only the two of them exist. They don't hear the cars noise and people passing by. The phone ring made them stop the starring contest. Both of them look away, and check each others phone.

Before answering his phone he felt glad that he didn't change his ringtone, he almost done it though. "yes?" he said.

"Sorry for bothering you, did you see her?" said by other side on the phone.

"Yeah she's with me.."Noah respond.

"Thanks for fetching her bro, I owe you big time", respond of the guy.

"no problem, it happen that I am near the area," Noah said. Though his mind has another respond, 'near the area! You are far from the area! Upon learning that your friend cant fetch her, you drive as fast as you can so you will be the one will fetch her..tsk'. He shake his head, while having an internal battle with his mind. 'I am going crazy because of her', he glance at her while talking to himself. 'yeah just one glance', he said again to his mind. He even forgot Neil whom called him. Seeing her smile while talking on the phone. Though his eyebrow form a thin line, 'what or who is making her smile.. ughhhh.. why am I feeling this', he said again. He is busy having an internal discussion, when he heard a fake coughing.

"Hmm?", he hummed.

"Did you forget about me?", Neil ask.

"Oh no I didn't", he lied.

"Tsk, I shouldn't ask that.. silly me I should've have known the answer.", Neil teased.

"What are you saying?", he ask.

"Oh nothing, " Neil excuse.

He change the topic, " is there anything you want to say?",Noah said in serious tone.

That made him earn a laugh, Noah is about to speak more but he is cut out by Neil. "bye I have to go."

Noah shake his head and mentally do a face palm.

Ian want to stamp her feet and kill the caller. Though it made her realize that his ring tone and her ring tone is the same. And that made her calm down a bit. She answer her phone without checking whose calling her. "hello", she ask.

"Is that how you greet your twin brother?", said by the man on the other side.

Realizing it was her brother on the other side, a wide smile form in her lips. "why? Remember our interval is just 3 minute." She respond.

"Still I'm older even if its just 3 minutes", he reason out.

"Tsk, you cant use that on me," Ian bicker back.

"You are lucky I am not around, if not I will smack your head", he said.

"Yeah right as if you can do it", she said to challenge him

“Tsk!”, replied by her brother.

She chuckle in his reaction. “I you cant do it, you treated me a princess..” She said while holding her laugh.

“Laugh all you want,” Said by her brother with pissed toned.

Hearing him pissed she change the topic, though she enjoy pissing her brother. “ why did you call?” she ask.

“Oh, yeah I almost forgot. Well grandpa is coming home. Though I don’t know the exact date. But from what he said, he is coming home..” he said.

“Oh is the doctors allowed him to travel?”, Ian ask.

“Dunno, father told us to prepare because grandpa is coming home”, his reply.

“Bummer!” she exclaim. “oh well, if he come home, this time I can take care of him”, she said excitingly.

“Tsk!” his respond. “I need to go, goodbye. And take care please”. He said before hanging the call.

Upon ending the call is the only time she felt the gaze and when she turn around. And meet his gaze she feel his gaze piercing through her soul. Making her knees shake. ‘how can I forget he is around’ she said while mentally smacking his head. She swallow her saliva before smiling at him. She hope her smile wont look awkward.

He is looking intently, and reading her lips. But je cant focus, he felt distracted. He want to devour her red lips. He is holding himself. Noah almost loose control when she turn around and give him a sweet smile. Showing her dimples on both side of her cheeks. He look away when she look back at him. He took a deep breath to calm him. When he look back again to her. She is still looking at him. He swallow his saliva before speaking, he feel his throat dry. “ I came here to fetch you, Neil said he cant fetch you because he need to something and cant be there for you,” Noah explain.

A biggest smile form in her lips. “oh, then lets go.” She said, while looking around. “so where is your service” she ask.

“Well”, he stop and point a large motor park near to them. “that’s our service, if you don’t mind”. He continue, and wait for her answer instead she run toward to the motor. And look back to him. He could see her eyes sparkling. ‘good thing I did bring an extra helmet’, he said to himself.

She touch the motor and feel so excited. She is not allowed to ride bikes. She even beg for a bike and scooter. But none of those were granted. Instead they give her a car with a driver. Though she bribe the driver to teach her how to drive. While looking at the back, a helmet was put in front of her. Ian look at Noah with excitement written to her face and eyes.

“Were the helmet,” he said commanding Ian. She follow his orders, and put the helmet with a large smile. Noah ride his big bike, and wait for Ian to sit in his back, and waited for her to sit comfortably. He is tempted to loom back, but he hold himself and force himself to be contented to watch her in the side mirror. When he saw her got settle. He start the engine. Though before they leave, he took both of her arms and wrap it around his stomach. He could feel her warmth
