Dainty's Point of View

Where am I? Why do I see pure white? Are they using some whitening soap? Or Am I inside a whitening soap?

"Thank God, you're awake." I came back to my senses when I heard the voice of my client, Xariya. I looked around and there were nurses there. I think I'm in the hospital? But why am I here?

"You lost consciousness on the site earlier so we brought you here," Xariya added. "I'm sorry, I've been really tired lately," I said apologetically.

"Yes, that's what your doctor said. A few hours from now, you can go home, you just have to stay for a while so you can rest." She said again. Shortly afterward a woman suddenly appeared in front of us carrying a basket of fruits. "Pauline! It's good that you're here now. Did you buy everything I ask you to?" Xariya is happy to see her, maybe they know each other. "Yes, I added some other foods too because you know, I'm rich."

"No one asked." And Xariya stared sarcastically at Pauline before facing me. "You should eat some so you won't lose consciousness again." She smiled and I accepted the banana she offered. "Xariya, where is Adrian?" Pauline asked out of nowhere so I frowned. Why is she looking for him? "Wow, are you looking for him because you're interested in him? And to answer your question, he went back to the site. Don't worry, he will come back here later because we will take Dainty to her house."

"Fine, fine, just introduce me to this beautiful yet tired patient." Pauline pointed me at the same time.

"She's Dainty, the architect that Adrian and I talk about. And Dainty, this is my friend, Pauline."

"Hello! How's my friend Xariya here as a client?" Pauline asked me. "Fine, she's kind hehe," I answered. Because honestly speaking, my client is kind and I can feel that we will get along with each other well. "Kind? I knew that, but she's greedy when it comes to money, so I think you won't get to be paid big." Pauline sarcastically said then laugh.

"Hey, you rude girl! I'm not greedy, I'm just saving!" Xariya shouted at her. And they started fighting jokingly until a doctor came in. I can't help but focus on that doctor because he was walking towards me and looking at me seriously. The lab coat was hanging on his arm and I admit, he looks good with it. His eyes are also beautiful, his nose is sharp and his lips are red. "Oh, Dr. Matteo, you're here." Xariya suddenly spoke so I swallowed hard, as in hard.

Doctor? He is my doctor? Oh my gosh!

"Yes, I decided to check Ms. Gonzales here before going home." His manly voice perfectly fits with his handsome face. He approached me and asked if I was okay, so I told him I was okay. Then I suddenly remembered RD. Does he know I'm in the hospital right now? "Looks like you're okay, you can go home now." This doctor said and I nodded at him.

"Dr. Matteo, do we still have to pay for her staying here?" Xariya asked. "No need, you only stayed for a few hours here so I paid for it." Dr. Matteo stopped speaking first and turned to me. "Don't stress yourself too much, okay? So, you don't have to go back and forth here in the hospital."

"Yes, Mr. Doctor. Thank you so much." I answered sincerely. "I'll go ahead now," Dr. Matteo said and disappeared from our sight. When I could no longer see Dr. Matteo, I immediately asked Xariya about him. "What's Dr. Matteo's name?" I asked her and she laughed out loud.

"Luke Matteo, he so handsome, and isn't he? Luckily, Dr. Matteo himself volunteered to check on you even though he has so many patients."

"Is that so? Hahaha." I just said and she laughed again.

"Also, you know, those who work here said that Dr. Matteo is really rich even before, and the other good news is, he is still single so he has many admirers."

I can't believe that my client likes to gossip!

Xariya's Point of View

"Sir Adrian, Xariya, and Pauline thank you for driving me home, be careful on your way home, huh?" Dainty said, she just got out of the hospital and we took her to her friend's house. "That was nothing, just don't forget what your doctor told you, huh?" I teased her so she frowned. "Okay, yes, see you tomorrow!" She said before walking towards the house's gate. "Are you going home already? Do you want me to drive the two of you home too?" Adrian offered but I immediately refused, it's embarrassing and I'm kind of shy. "Hey Adrian, you don't need to do that, just go home and you might be tired Pauline and I will just walk," I said.

"Huh? Night walking? But it's late."

"I can call that night exercise hahaha, so go home and your parents might scold you," I said again and pushed Adrian into his car, he can do nothing so he just left. "You witch, are we going to walk?" Pauline asked next to me. "Yes, don't you want it? It's nice to walk every night."

"You're crazy, I'm wearing heels right now!" She complained.

"Is that my fault? Then remove them so you can walk." And unluckily, we did not continue our plan to walk as Pauline is still in her high heels. I can't blame her, she's a manager now so she needs to wear them. We are on the bus now, moreover, it is also relatively cheap to pay for the bus so it is still good. After a while, the bus stopped due to traffic. I just looked outside the window and was amazed at what I saw. The building I'm seeing right now is so big, I didn't get a chance to look at the name of it above because suddenly a man came out wearing a suit, I could not see his face because his head was slightly bent over. Everyone bowed at him when he came out. He is probably their boss. Suddenly the bus started to drive again so I didn't get a chance to see his face.

"What are you looking at there?" Pauline asked. This girl is really, wow! "The trees, because nature is beautiful." I laughed at the end. "It's not fun talking to you, just so you know." She harshly said. "You're harsh, it's just the building there. I saw it and it's big!" I said while pointing at the building I was looking at earlier in the distance. "Gosh! Do not tell that you want to make such a big restaurant just like that building?" Pauline asked and I was confused, like, where did she get that idea? "Of course not! It'll be so expensive when it's that big."

"But there are rumors in that building." Huh? What is she talking about now?

"They said that the boss of that company building seems rude hahaha. And as far as I remember his last name is Montero." Pauline said and laughed. Huh? Why would I care if their boss is rude? I don't even know him. Pauline hears worthless rumors every day.
