Pauline's Point of View

I just got home and was really so tired from work.

"Pauline, Xariya is downstairs." I heard my mom called me. And Xari is here? What does that woman need from me now? She's always bored so she also disturbs me always, as in always!

"Please tell her that I'm not here." I answered sleepily and yawned.

"Huh, why is that? Don't you want to see me?" I heard Xariya's annoying high pitch voice, her voice is always like that when she wants to annoy someone, and that someone right now is me. She had already entered my room so I can't just tell her to leave, that will be rude.

"What do you need now? Make it fast, I want to sleep." I asked and she sat first on my bed.

"Nothing, I'm so bored, I want to annoy you!"

"What?! Go home! I still have work tomorrow and you are seriously stressing me!" I said sounding so annoyed and covered myself with a blanket. This woman always visits me in a wrong time, tsk.

"Kidding! I actually want to give you something." She said using her child like voice now and handed me the rose she was holding.

A rose?! What is the meaning of this?!

"Please do not tell me that you have a crush on me!" I said with fear and shock visible in my voice and her immediate reaction is to hit me really really hard with my pillow.

Oh no! My beautiful pillow!

"Yuck, of course not! I just saw that at home earlier and then I remembered that you like roses so I think it's better for you to have it." Xariya explained so I took a deep breath, feeling relieved.

But what did she say? Someone put it outside their home? Wow, my friend has an admirer now! It's not like she didn't has one way back in college, she just won't notice them because she has high standards.

"Why the hell would you hand that to me? It's for you! Why don't you put it on your altar or you may hide it in your room." I said and this witch just shrugged.

"I don't know who gave this so it makes no sense."

"You're crazy. It doesn't matter of you do not know who gave that, it's a remembrance!" I shouted at her.

"How can it be remembrance?! I don't even know who gave it!" She shouted too. Ugh! I am really so tired right now, when will she leave?

"Gosh, what do I do with you? Just hide that flower. You should be thankful that someone else wants to give you that hahaha." I said and handed her back the flower again and she accepted it half-heartedly.

"I hate you Pau! You didn't accept my gift! I'll just give this to Dainty." And she came out of my room. I shrugged and lay down, I know she does not meant what she just said so no worries.

The most important thing right now is that my place is quiet now and I am finally having a peaceful time with myself.

Xariya's Point of View

Because Pauline refuse what I gave, I was pouting the whole ride in the bus and when I got home.

When I entered our house, my parents were not there, because they said they would go to the grocery store because there are no foods left here and I am the number reason on why we do not have foods now hahaha.

I mean, food is life so you can't blame me!

I immediately sat on the sofa when I am in the living room and stared at the rose I had received. I wonder who gave this to me and why would he gave me this? Does he like me? I sounded so assuming there, huh? But hey, this rose is so beautiful and looks so romantic!

Will I really give this to Dainty? Oh wait, no, we're not that close yet.

In the end, I followed Pauline's suggestions. I hid the flower in my room.

At the same moment, I heard someone ringing the doorbell. Maybe it's my parents! I immediately went out of my room and opened our gate but I did not see Mom or Dad, instead I saw our neighbor's daughter, Janna.

"Good evening, Janna! What brings you here?" I greeted and asked her at the same time.

"Hello, Xari! I'm not really staying here for long, I just have something to say." She said and suddenly looked around her.

"What is it?" I asked and copied her by looking around my place too.

"There was a car that stopped in front of your house earlier, I thought the owner would pick you up but I suddenly remembered that there was no one in your house since this morning." Oh my? Did the owner left the rose here then?

"Did he left a flower or what? Did you see his face? What does he look like?" I asked her one question after another.

"A flower? I don't know. I was in a hurry a while ago so I didn't see what he did or even his face." She answered so I felt a bit disappointed coz I really want to see that person so we can talk.

"Okay, thank you." I said and she hurriedly left. I also stayed outside, to wait for my parents and a part of me is also expecting that I might see that person who went in our house this morning.

In the end, it's just my parents who came so I stopped waiting.

Maybe this is still not the time for us to meet? Yep, maybe that's it.

"By the way, Xari. You're aunt called and she told me that they will go here." My dad said in the middle of our dinner!

"Really? When? Will they stay here for good?" I asked excitedly because I really am.

"Maybe? We'll know that once they got here." It was my mom this time and I smiled at them both and we continued our dinner by talking about my aunt's family.

I hope my aunt and uncle will just move here because I miss them, especially my older cousin who is annoying and loud but is fun to be with.

Dainty's Point of View

I'm at the grocery store now and buying food coz RD and I decided to have a midnight snack later because we are not that busy.

RD is not here with me, because he was too lazy to wander around here while looking for foods. So I was alone while picking for our foods later. I wandered around more before I found both our favorite foods!

When I got everything both RD and I wanted, I immediately lined up in the counter area. The line is too long and my feet are getting tired.

"My foot hurts." I complained while whispering and slightly pushing the cart.

"You can pay first." I heard the person in front of me speak so I looked up and saw Dr. Matteo smiling at me.

"Doc, it's you. Good afternoon, I didn't expect to see you here." I greeted him and shyly smiled.

I feel like I blushed a bit too. Coz who wouldn't? He really is so handsome even if he is just wearing casual clothes!

"Good afternoon too, I heard what you said so go ahead, I won't mind." He said and smiled again.

"Are you sure, Doc? I can wait hehe." I said, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Yes, go ahead, you might lost consciousness again and fall into the hospital and I don't like that." He said and chuckled. He also moved backwards and change positions with me.

"Thank you, Doc. You're so handsome and kind, no wonder women lines up to be notice by you." I said and he laughed. Why would he laugh, though? What I said was true!

After I paid, I just walked straight out of the grocery store but before I could go out someone pat my shoulder, I turned around and Dr. Matteo appeared in front of me again.

"You forgot your change." He said smiling. His smile is beautiful, just like his face, beautiful in a very manly way.

"Thank you." I shortly said and took the change in his hand and turned around while my face is blushing. I am seriously having a hard time breathing right now, I might really lost consciousness again hahaha.

When I came out of the store, RD's frowning face is the first one that I saw and notice. Unlike, Dr. Matteo who has a beautiful face, RD right here has a frowning face.

"What did you buy that it took you so long, huh?" He asked but I did not answer him because I remembered my short interaction with Doctor Matteo!

It was a really short interaction but it somehow made my afternoon.

"Oh? What happened to you? Why are you blushing?" He asked with pure curiosity in his voice so I covered my face. I am still blushing? What the hell!

I should have fix my face before showing my self to RD coz this guy is so observant.

"There are many people inside and I feel like I'm going to faint. Come on! Let's just go home, I'm excited for our midnight snack!" I just said so he wouldn't be curious anymore. He nodded and believed my reason so we walk towards his car.

We immediately got in his car and as I closed the door of his car and I saw Dr. Matteo again, this time he waving at me so I waved back at him.

I know we will see each other again but for now...
