Dainty's Point of View

[Hello, Dainty?] Dr. Matteo called me immediately when I told him that I am not busy.

"Hi, Doc." I greeted him while walking at the quiet hallway.

[Can we have lunch together?] He asked so I stop walking. Did I heard that right? Dr. Matteo asked to have lunch together with him!

"Of course. Yeah sure." I answered happily and I heard him chuckled on the other line.

[You know that restaurant near the hospital?] He asked again.

"Yep!"

[I'll see you there, okay? Bye, Dainty." He said and turned the call off.

I started walking again and suddenly I remembered what Montero told me a while ago.

'Better go to the company and start working there.'

Of course, I'll go there but first, I'll have lunch together with Dr. Matteo and hey! The restaurant where we will our lunch is just minutes away from Montero's building so I guess, I'm safe?

"It's been a while since I last saw you so I'm glad you have time now." Dr. Matteo said while we are eating.

When I came, he already ordered a food for me and that gesture of him touched my heart.

"Sorry, I'm just really busy working these days." I said and drink a little bit of water.

He smiled at me and started talking about his day. He said he had few patients right now so he made a time for me.

I can't help but smile too, I seriously appreciate Dr. Matteo's kindness to me. After what happened to RD, I feel like I am alone but Dr. Matteo suddenly entered my life and I admit it, he made me happy for the past two months.

He comforted me in my darkest times by always checking on me. He also calls me every time I have a trip just to make sure I'm safe. In short, he's always there for me.

"Dainty? Are you listening?" I stopped what I'm thinking when he flicked his finger in front of me.

"Thank you, Doc." It was so sudden when I said that so his brows furrowed.

"For what? For the food?" He asked and I shook my head. He looks so confused now.

"Thank you for being there for me, you're a great friend, Doc. I'm glad I met you." I said and his lips parted with shock.

"That's so sudden, but you're always welcome, Dainty." He said but he still look shock.

"You're really a great friend, thanks buddy!" I clapped.

"Yeah, buddy..."

He smiled after he said that but I didn't get to smile back because I saw RD again! It's the second time that I saw him!

I hurriedly stood up and run towards him, I also heard Dr. Matteo calling me but I did not look back at him.

I saw RD! He's here!

"Dainty! Wait!" Dr. Matteo sound like he's just near me but I still didn't look back.

Instead, I started running faster and when I got closer to RD, I pulled him and used all of my might to make him face me. But to my shock, it was not RD who's in front of me! It was Ivan, Montero's assisstant and one of the agents.

"Ivan?!" Surprised is so evident on my voice. What is he doing here? And where's RD?!

"I knew I saw RD but you're the one who showed up! Why?!" I shouted again, frustrated this time.

"I was here the whole time, I did not expect you to mistook me as RD..." He said and shock is evident in his voice too.

"Don't tell me that you're the one last time too?!" I shouted at him again and I saw how scared he is.

He was about to speak again when Dr. Matteo suddenly appeared beside me.

"Calm down, Dainty." Dr. Matteo whispered and pulled me away from Ivan. I didn't complain as my heart really hurts right now.

I was so excited because I believed that it was RD and now I'm crying because of frustration.

I wiped my tears and Dr. Matteo helped me with it. Then he suddenly cupped my face and whispered softly.

"Listen Dainty, I know you missed him so bad, but he's really gone, so you need to move on, you have to move on."

Ken's Point of View

"How's everything, Agent V?" I asked when I arrived at the meeting place I told Agent V or should I say Vincent.

"Everything is okay, Mr. Kendrix. She is not one of our opponent." He answered and handed me the papers containing proof of evidence. I nodded as I read them.

"How was it?" I asked again.

"I gave you her everything you gave Mr. Kendrix. I also watch over her. Also her whole family just like what you told me to do so. But Mr. Kendrix the case is..." Vincent is stuttering and scratching his nape.

"But? What Agent V?"

"Her friend Pauline, she was wondering. And she noticed me so she thought I was her stalker. Until something happened Mr. Kendrix. Pauline thinks I'm her stalker, that I like her. So I told that she's right thinking that I like her because I tought it might help the me on my mission if I fool her to think that way. I will be closer to them." I laughed at what Vincent said.

Ricko used to be like this. He got two girlfriends because of a mission.

"So, tell me, is Pauline your girlfriend now?" I asked again.

"Not yet Mr. Kendrix. She said I should wait for a long time. I just let her. But since my mission is over, I will cut my connection with her---"

"No. Just continue, if you want." I cut him off. So his eyes widened.

"Mr. Kendrix? Are you serious? But it is in our policy not to be in a relationsh---"

"Not anymore. I'm the boss so meaning, I can change my own rules. I don't want to regret anything again. Because of that rule, I prevented my cousin from being happy."

"Mr. Kendrix ..." Vincent said hesitantly.

"It's okay Agent V. Besides you did a great job." I smiled at him.

"Thanks for that Mr. Kendrix, but I still have to give you something." He said and handed me a piece of paper so I frowned. Just a while ago, I was the one handing Dainty a paper.

"Mr. Kendrix, that's a lists of what Ms. Andraste likes and dislikes. I listed them in case you need help." He added and smiled foolishly.

"Help me with what?" I asked seriously.

"Ah, because Ms. Dainty said, you need such information. I was surprised at first but she said I should just follow because you will be happy."

I clenched my fist because of what I found out. That Dainty!

"Mr. Kendrix just a question, do you like Xariya?"

Because of that question by Vincent, I slammed the table between the two of us.

"No! What the hell? She has a boyfriend!"

"Who's her boyfriend Mr. Kendrix? I didn't know that." He asked and my brows furrowed. Didn't he told me that?

"That Adrian Mivaez?" I said and he laugh at me. I shook my head, this agenf of mine is crazy.

"Oh, Adrian? They're not together Mr. Kendrix, but they're close as Adrian is Nate's friend." He said and I suddenly felt excitement.

What the hell is happening to me?

"All right Mr. Kendrix. I think everything is clear now. I'll be meeting with Pauline."

When Vincent said that, I smiled. This one has a stand.

"Really?" I teased him.

"Of course Mr.Kendrix. It's real! You're the only one who's not real here hahaha." He added and started running.

"I'm going to break your neck Agent V!" I shouted.

"Mr. Kendrix! Pauline is with Xariya! Don't come with me hahahaha!"

"You and Dainty are the reason why I'm feeling this tired!" I shouted back. I even heard him laugh until he left.

I looked at the paper I was holding.

'1. Xariya loves Korean popstars.'

What the? That Dainty planned this out? I should lecture her again.

It's almost 2 pm when I arrive at the company. And I immediately went straight to my office and sat down.

"Alex." I called my secretary and she immediately heard it so she approached me.

"Yes, Sir?"

"How's the work I told you to take care of? And what is my schedule now? Do I have free time until tomorrow?" I said and grabbed my forehead.

She immediately looked at the files she was holding before speaking.

"The delivery you are handling for the raw materials is okay. It will be delivered next week, Sir. Then it's good for 4 months. But the owner of the other company said they might not be able to deliver this afternoon. There was a shortage going on in Hawaii. Your schedule is fine, too. You are free until tomorrow and the next day after tomorrow." I nodded at what she said. It's nice that I do not have many works to do.

"Anything else?" Alex asked again.

"Hmm? I wan to have a meeting in the conference room now. I'll go there after twenty minutes and I want everyone to be present. From the board members, as well as our new CEO." I added.

My secretary's eyes widened and she was already panicking. I mean, it's rare for me to call a meeting.

"Then, please call Dainty and tell her to come here within 5 minutes. I do not care where she is right now, she needs to be here within that time." I added.

"Right away, Sir. I'm going out." My secretary added and went out of my office.
