Futuristic or Overthinker?

Bryan liked to think he was futuristic. He would go over every possible outcome of his, and others, decisions. Thomas called it overthinking, but as long as it prevented surprises, Bryan didn’t care about the name.

When he agreed to hide Daniel's identity, he had gone over a hundred scenarios of possible outcomes. He had expected an outburst from Hailie, much like her reaction to Sadie and Walter. He could see her accusing all of them, maybe throwing a bunch of stuff at him, but he never saw this.

In front of him, his best friend was frozen in place, clearly under Hailie's control. On the other side of the room, Daniel stood, also frozen. He saw his face going through all kinds of emotions, panic and betrayal included, eyes darting between Hailie and Thomas.
