Chapter 1

Shruthi's Pov

"Shruti are you gonna wake up, or should I come up", can u guess who it would be, yes of course it's my Mamma. Without her morning rants my day is incomplete. During my childhood I was a morning person, I used to wake up at the earliest and used to go to garden for gardening when I used to live with my grandpa, or I used to go to church. But as I grew up I became a lazy snail. So yeah it was my Mamma who used to wake me up. Now if I continue to blabber to you without getting down of my bed and if Mamma comes up, it will be rally a hell, so yeah let me get up first.

You will be thinking who is this girl who talks a lot right? Let me introduce myself, my name is Shruthi Joe, presently I am pursuing MBBS and yeah it's my last year. I am waiting for my results to come so that I can grab a seat for MD. My parents are Mr Joe Joseph, who is a business man and Mrs Anna Joe who is a house wife, but yeah she helps my Pappa with his business .Mamma and Pappa are my life, I love them a lot. Now you might be thinking that I might be a single child, but no I have two siblings. My elder sister is Zara who is a college lecture and she is married to my sweet brother(I consider him as my Big brother so yeah I won't call him as brother in law) Sid. He is so caring and loving. And I have a younger brother though he is annoying always but yeah he is sweet, Edwin. Now currently he is in 9th grade.

So yeah now I am currently getting ready to go to my college, I am not a person who does a lot of makeup so just a bindhi and applying kajal does my work on my face. Usually my class starts at 9 am but as I have to drop Edwin to school I have to go early. But today I don't even have any class, we have been called to college for some meetings. So me and my friends have planned that we will go for shopping after the meeting . After having my breakfast (also after Mamma's rants on how I became a lazy girl), and bidding bye to both Mamma and Pappa me and Edwin goes to our destination on my swift, you know guys I love this car swift a lot and also my wespa, but today as me and my friends are going for shopping I cant take my wespa. After dropping Ed to his school I came to my college, actually college is a place which gives me lot of peace after my home. And yeah I have got three besties, Sona, Alayna and Riya. They are my second family, they were always with me through out my ups and downs, supporting me.

So yeah our daily routine is to discuss everything that is in the world and to hear the boring lecture and attend the practicals and to chill out in the college canteen and then bid bye, now as our college days are coming to an end we hangout a lot. Our exams got over last week and today we had been called to discuss about our graduation ceremony.

Now as the meeting have got over, we went to nearby mall did purchases for the upcoming ceremony. And I head to home. Evening I helped Mamma in doing chores and then we had a chit chat which is common during our dinner time with Pappa, and yeah Zara had video called so I spend a lot of time annoying her. When my sweetheart(sleep) called me I returned to my room, please don't mistake me by thinking that I have a lover, the answer is a big no, because that is not my cup of tea.

Author's Pov

As the morning rays falls on her face she covers her face with blanket, but that doesn't last long as her mother wakes her up. After her morning chores she helps her mother in kitchen, at the same time she receives a call from one of her friend, or it would be better to address him as her brother. That call made her to recall the past which she had buried.

Shruti's Pov

As I was helping Mamma in the kitchen, my mobile started to ring, usually I don't receive many calls, just a few calls from my parents that too only if I go outside, or some calls from my relatives or friends that too occasionally, So when my phone started to ring I thought it would be some call from the customer care so I refused to pic the call at the first ring. But after sometimes it again rang so when I went to pic up the call, the name of the caller id which flashed on the screen made me surprised. Its been a long since he had called me, I have always considered some of my school friends as my brothers, as they were so kind to me during those days. But slowly we became apart in every means and its been so many years since they had contacted me. I picked up the call, it was Justin and he had called me to inform me about his sister's marriage which is being held next week. I was literally happy because I had never thought that I would be receiving the call from him that too for inviting me for his sister's marriage. But as the date was the same date of our convocation I politely declined it, even though if the date was different, I would have done the same. Because that is the place which reminds me of my past.

You might be thinking that something big had happened in my life, but no not so big as compared to the hardships that are being faced by people today. When I tell you the full story of my past, after listening to it, you might feel that its just a small thing. Yeah for whoever hearing my story it will be just a small matter, but for me it is not. I have heard a quote which says that "People wont understand how you feel until they experience it for themselves". And yes I agree to it. For me the hardships that I had undergone is something soo big. Because that incident changed me, changed my opinion about the word called "LOVE".
