Chapter 4

Shruti's Pov

"Shruti" Jake called me, when I turned back and looked at him, he said, "I think I like you and I would like to give us a chance and I am sure that my parent's choice would not be a wrong one". And I was standing like a statue, without knowing what to tell him. I was really surprised by his response I mean yeah I liked talking to him, and I felt so comfortable with him, and I have never felt that much comfort when I am with a stranger as I felt when I am with him. And also I liked his family a lot. So I just smiled at him and nodded my head. Then we went downstairs, and when we reached the living room to join others Jake's parents asked about my answer, and I told them that I would like to talk to my parents for a second, and then Pappa and Mamma came with me to a room, and I told them "Pappa actually I don't know whether I am ok with it or not. I liked the family, I mean I am so comfortable with them and even with Jake, till now in my entire life I have never felt so comfortable with any strangers. But I would like to give a chance if you both are sure about it. I know that you both wont make a wrong choice. So yeah I want you both to take a decision for me, I am ok with whatever decision you take, I believe in you." as I finished telling them my opinion they were having tears in their eyes, and Pappa and Mamma assured me that this was the best proposal that I will get in my life, so they told me that they would like to tell a yes from my side. And I told that I was ok with it. And then Pappa and Mamma hugged me, and then we went to the living room to tell our decision.

As soon as Pappa told them about my response I was engulfed with a group hug, his siblings seemed to be so happy that they engulfed me in a tight hug, followed by his parents. And when I looked at Jake, even he was having a smile in his face. Soon after the hugging and all, his siblings wanted to take our pic, so were told to pose for the picture. My brother video called my sis and Jake and she became so friendly within minutes, even he became comfortable with my brother Sid. And then Mamma called us to have the dinner, in the mean time me and Jake exchanged numbers. So yeah I didn't tell you about how handsome is my groom right? You know I cant literally tell you about his looks, I mean he is damn so hot and handsome, so today he was wearing a white chinease collared shirt with cream jeans. And he had inserted his shirt and had rolled up his shirt sleeves, looking so handsome with his beard face. And I could say that they was something special about his eyes. One gaze from him is enough to make me blush. So yeah totally a Greek God or should I say my Greek God, I mean as we both are interested, he is mine right?

Jake's outfit

As we had dinner I could feel a strong gaze, and I knew who was the reason for it, but yeah I didn't look at him, because I knew that if his siblings found out about it, then they will tease us to death. After having the dinner and the dessert our parents started to discuss about the dates for the marriage fixing ceremony. And they decided that it would be held on coming Sunday as Jake has to return tomorrow, and he will be returning only on next Friday. So they decided that we will be also exchanging rings on Sunday, so we would be buying our rings on Saturday. Now this week my parents will be a having a tough schedule, because they have to go to my native place to inform and invite my parent's siblings and close relatives to the function, you know some wont be happy if we make a call and tell them about the same. As my Pappa is so concerned about their feelings he would definitely o and call them. And then they all left, not before sharing their contact number with me especially Anu (Ananya). As they left my parents told me that they were feeling so happy for me. Even Ed, Zara and Sid was happy with Jake. After knowing that my family is happy, I felt so happy that I cant literally tell you how much happy I am. Then after wishing my parents and my brother a very good night, I left to my room and changed into my night suits and decided to have a quick revisions on some chapters.

As I was revising I got a message notification from a number, when I searched to know the owner of the number, it turned out to be Jake. So I immediately saved his number. He asked me whether I am free or not, and could he chat for sometime. I immediately replied him that I was preparing to go to bed, and I am ok with chatting. Then he asked, "Shruti I just wanted to know whether are you really happy with this alliance or are you being forced into the relation, if yes please be free to tell me, I'll find out a way". I was so happy see his concern for me. So I messaged him, "Jake will you be happy if I reject? You told me that you like me and now you are saying me that you will see a way to stop this alliance". He then replied me, "Shruti its not like that, I mean I really do not want you to be forced into a relation. And honestly speaking, I really like you and it would make me sad, if you reject but yeah its ok, if you want you can do it, I will manage". Then I messaged him, "Jake I would be a fool if I reject this alliance. I really liked your family a lot, I am blessed to have a family like yours." Then I got a reply, "So you are telling me that you liked my family but not me (with a sad emoji)". So I decided to play with him, " Yeah what to do I got loving and caring parents, brothers and sisters even two adorable niece and nephew, but sadly my to be fiance turned to be not so handsome (with a playful emoji)". Then he replied, "Hey even I am so loving and caring person and even I am so handsome (with pouting emoji)". As I was feeling sleepy I decided to stop playing with him so I messaged him that, "Just kidding, I like you, I am feeling so sleepy so bye good night, sweet dreams and take care". Then he messaged me "Ok bye Good night, take care ,and don't forget to dream about me". And this message made me blush, would anyone believe that we have only met each other few hoursago, no right? That is what I told you that he makes me feel so comfortable whenever I am with him. So yeah thinking about him I slept, hoping that my future would be a beautiful one.
