It has been a week since Vin and me went out. I've been busy too, I rarely see her. Our Intramurals is approaching, we need to practice hard.

"Five and six, and seven, eight. Again!" I'm tired, we've practicing for almost four hours. We haven't got our break yet. I wiped my sweat as I exhaled heavily.

"Yuri!" I looked at my classmate who shouted my name. "Someone wants to excuse you." I walked lazily and went out our room.

"Yuri! I missed you!" That familiar blue-haired girl jumped and hugged me. "Hey. I'm sorry I'm kinda busy." I hugged her back.

"Here."

"Thank you." I immediately opened the bottle cap and drank the energy drink she gave me. I exhaled heavily after drinking it all.

She wiped my sweat with her handkerchief which stunned me. I looked at her face while she's wiping. Her cute face matched her hair color.

"There. You must be really tired. I think you should go in already." She said which sent me back to reality.

"Thank you, Vin." I smiled at her before going back to our practice. We spent another hour practicing before they let us eat and rest.

The afternoon was no different from the morning. We practiced until 6 pm. I sat at the corridor and breathed heavily as I drink a bottle of energy drink that I bought earlier. The building is still alive. Students are walking back and forth. Different noises and sounds escape every time a classroom door is opened. I leaned at the wall and closed my eyes. I'm hella tired, this performance must turn out good.

I felt a cold object on my cheek that made me open my eyes. I looked up and saw Vin. She's holding a bottle of water. She handed it to me and sat in front of me.

"Are you done practicing?" I nodded and thanked her for the water. I wiped my sweat using my towel and closed my eyes again.

"What time is it?" I asked her.

"Half past six."

I opened my eyes and stood up. I grabbed my bag and sighed.

"You'll walk home?" I hummed as an answer. "My driver's off for a week." I continued.

"I'll accompany you." She linked arms with me and initiated a conversation with me. We walked slowly and talked calmly. We reached our house at exactly 7 o'clock in the evening.

"Thank you for accompanying me." I bowed at her and entered the main gate of our compound. I ran to my room and laid down on my bed. I closed my eyes and took the comfort of my bed.

I groaned as I tried to open my eyes. I looked at the clock and yawned. It's a quarter after 11 in the evening. I washed and changed my clothes into more comfortable one before heading downstairs. The coast is clear, no maids are around. Lights are all turned off except in the dining area. I opened the refrigerator and looked for some food. Gladly, I found a box of frozen pizza and lasagna. I put it inside the microwave and waited for the timer to finish. I also took out a box of half-filled orange juice. After setting it up on the table, I washed my hands and was about to eat when the light in the living area lit. I looked at it only to see one of our trusted maids.

"Yuri! I thought a thief came in." She said which made me laugh.

"I'm hungry." I smiled shyly at her. She looked at the pizza and lasagna on the table.

"What else do you want? I can cook for you." I automatically smiled with what she said.

"Can you cook some fried chicken for me, mama?" I call her 'mama' because she was basically the one who watched me grow. When my mom is busy, she'll take care of me and she told me to call her 'mama'. She's the most trusted maid of my parents.

I ate the pizza and lasagna while waiting for the chicken to be cooked. We chatted while she was cooking.

"You rarely eat dinner these days." She said while serving the chicken.

"I'm tired because of practicing. We practice all-day. I didn't even get proper meal at school. I'm worried that I might get stomach ache If I dance right after eating." I ate like there's no tomorrow. I'm really hungry. I didn't eat rice for lunch today. My hair keeps falling down while I eat so Mama came to help me. She tied my hair up and gave me a glass of water. After finishing my almost-midnight snack, I thanked Mama and tried to help her in washing the dishes but she told me to sleep already. I obeyed her and went back to my room to sleep.

Morning came, I did my usual routine. Take a bath, wore my uniform, eat breakfast and head to school. My life is boring, I just realized it. I thought I was free but I guess, I'm still not that free. I'm feeling numb and tired. I want to rest but my body refuse to. I walk silently whilst thinking of the comfort my bed could bring if I could just rest and shut the world out.

"Yuri!" I felt a pair of hands pull me as I heard a man cussing and beeping his car madly. "Yuri! Are you okay?" I looked at the owner of that familiar voice. I stared at her blankly and opened my mouth but no voice came out.

"I'm feeling numb and tired." I smiled and my eyes closed when my body collapsed.

"Yuri!"

I massaged my head and winced because of pain. I opened my eyes and sat straight, the white room welcomed me after a deep sleep. I was about to stand but saw a dextrose plugged on my hand. I looked around and saw my mom in the couch. I opened my mouth to speak but only air escaped my mouth.

"Oh! You're awake!" That blue-haired girl holding a bottle of water exclaimed happily. My mom jerked out of the couch and came to me.

"Yuri, are you fine?" I nodded and tried to speak.

"Water." It came out like a whisper. Vin immediately handed me the opened bottle of water. After drinking it, I wiped my mouth and tried to stand. Mom stopped me from doing so.

"You need to rest. The doctor said you collapsed because of over-fatigue." I smiled at my mom and told her I'm fine. "Thank God, Vin was there to help you. She told me that you almost got hit by a car." So, it's her. She was the one who pulled me.

"Thank you!" I bowed at her.

"How long was I asleep?" I asked my mom.

"A day and a half." My jaw-dropped with what my mom said.

"For real?!" She nodded and a hint of worry was seen on her eyes.

"I told your class president that you can't come to school because you're at the hospital." Vin informed.

"What about our performance?" I asked her. "They said you can still join if you can. But don't push yourself, you're doctor said that you should eat more and sleep properly." She added.

"You can be discharged later. But you must rest, don't go to school yet tomorrow." I nodded with what my mom said.

"You don't have classes?" I asked Vin.

"Finished already." She pointed at the clock which shows 3 o'clock.

Vin went out but came back after half an hour with bags of foods in her hand.

"Eat."
