CHAPTER II " I'M NOT HER, STOP SAYING HER NAME "

Hendrix's P.O.V.

After Nyx's sister left, I froze in my spot while still looking where she was minutes ago. I wanted to run after her but my feet stayed glued on the ground, even my body won't move.

"That wasn't her right?" I don't know what to say but that question still came out. That can't be her, no.

"She looks exactly like her, but she's Nyx's sister" No, it wasn't her, she's a human, not a demon.

After what seemed like an hour we decided to just head back to our dorm as there’s no wizards to teach us anything. Upon arriving my mind is still clouded by my thoughts. I need to know something about her.

“Oh? Nyx you're here, what’s with the boxes?“ Nyx her brother came followed by goblins holding medium to large boxes.

“My sister will stay here, on the left wing in the end“ He answered and then instructed the goblins. Right, I can ask him about Lolita.

“How old is your sister?“ I ask, making him confused.

“She’s 200 years old, may I ask why?“ She's the same age as me.

"Nothing… just asking" He just shrugged, continue assisting the goblins when Aden spoke.

"She's just a decade younger than me, can I court her" What did he just say, when I look at him I wasn't the only one Nyx glared at him snatching a book from one of the boxes then chase after him all of a sudden making the three of us laugh quietly as Aden keeps screaming for help as Nyx run after him.

Without us knowing someone was watching us but I notice while they don't, she has a stern expression as her eyes follow her brother's movement and Aden. After a while, they finally notice making Aden stop which is a bad decision as Nyx reaches him and hits his head with a book too strong to make him massage his head.

“Oh, you're here already“ She just stared at him, questioning what was happening.

“Where’s my room?“ She asked but instead of giving her an answer he just pointed at me, I stared for a while and then immediately got it, Hendrix you just need to escort her to her room that’s all.

I stand up not waiting for her as I know she will just follow anyways. Left-wing on the end. After arriving in front of her bedroom door which I notice is the only white one, I decided to leave fast but still hear her talk.

“Vampires“ She mumbled under her breath, opening her door and before she could close it. I did something stupid.

"Natalya" Please be her. She turn around staring at me again emotionless

"Natalya stop pretending that you don't know me" Stupid, what are you saying "Natalya please"

"Stop, Lolita, that's my name, I'm not Natalya, I will never be her" She shut the door close after talking. What did you do, she’ll think you're a psycho.

I walk back to the living to find Luca and Adam talking seriously. I sat beside them quietly as I didn't want to disturb them but I guess they were talking about me.

“Hendrix, I heard what you told Lolita“ Luca said without sparing a glance at me.

“What did I say about privacy Luca? I said you should mind your own business didn’t I“ I don’t know but I felt pissed maybe because of what she said.

“I know but if your father found out about this she’ll be in danger” Luca’s right but I can't. I need to know why she looks like her even if it means going against my father.

“I know but I need to find out about something, I need to find out if she has any connection with Natalya, it’s been 2 years already since she disappeared.

“Just be careful, especially from Nyx, he can be scary and you already witness that“ He's right, Nyx might be my big problem.

“I need to talk to him“ I said standing up but being pulled back by Adam.

“Then what? Tell him your lost soulmate is his sister who was born centuries ago, Hendrix you can't know Nyx believes in demon to demon, vampire to vampire, and werewolf to werewolf soulmate thing right? If you tell him can you take what he’ll say“ I know he's right but I still need to try.

“Just let me talk to him and if snaps at me then I take it“ I never I’d do it but even if he gets mad at me then I won’t fight back.

I walk to where I know he would be, in the training room where we train to become stronger physically so we won’t rely too much on our power especially if we can’t use it on a full moon. I see him punching some moving targets and to this day it still amazes me how skilled he is.

“Nyx“ I called him and he just hummed as a reply “Can I talk to you for a minute“ I asked him to stop and walk towards me “What do you need to talk with me?" He asked to remove the bandage around his knuckles.

“It’s about your sister, Lolita“ I said with caution but cut me off guard when he said something “I heard what you told my sister, and I’m not very pleased Hendrix“ He said slightly groan with his eyes turning blue staring directly at me, I slightly cursed inside my mind.

“I know it’s rude of me but I didn’t mean that just please let me explain first okay“ He just stares waiting for me to continue “There’s this thing I haven’t told you about, it’s about the soulmate thing and I know it can make you somehow uncomfortable or pissed of but don’t say anything while I’m still talking because I want you to know as the others He remains silent as I take it as a signal to tell him everything.

“Your sister just looks like Natalya, my soulmate who got killed right in front of me, Lolita looks exactly like her. And every single time that she dies she reincarnates but this time it’s almost two she’s and she still hasn’t shown up“ He seem to doubt me so I pulled out my locket from my purse with her photo with me when we found out we’re soulmate “How can she look like my sister“ He asked himself while I just look at the photos.

“I don’t know but there’s also a problem your sister is a demon-like you but Natalya, she’s a human “He looks at me like I’m some kind of a sick person “She can’t be her, she can’t be a nasty human“ He growls his eyes turning darker blue than a minute ago.

“But don’t be mad okay, I’m not saying it was her that’s why I asked her age but hearing she’s just as old as me I felt the pain that’s why I became desperate to see if she knows something that’s why I’m asking you to let me know if she knows anything please“ I don’t know what got me but it make me look desperate to him but if I need to beg I would do it.

“You love her too much don’t you“ It’s more of a statement than a question making me a little confused so I just nod making him sigh “I’m letting you ask my sister but it’s her decision to make but she decides something stupid to my sister I won’t hesitate to take away your soul“ It made me lift some weight from my shoulder, maybe the pain of longing or maybe finally some questions will be solved.

I thanked him before dashing outside the room towards the left wing where I came from before, in front of her room. I inhale and exhale deeply even though I know I don’t even need it but I still do before knocking on her door. After a while, she stood opposite of mine still expressionless but I don’t think about it for now.

“I was thinking if I should tour you around the dorm so you won’t get lost if it’s fine with you“ I said while examining her face but like before expressionless.

“I’ll just change to something comfortable then we’re good to go“ It made me feel at least that she agreed to let me tour her but the truth is I just want to spend time with her without her knowing.

Just shortly she came out wearing a plain white shirt and black pants wearing slippers. It’s simple yet it suits her. If she didn’t start walking away I would just stay there and stare at her. We started walking around the second floor as it was where we were located.

"On this floor is more on our bedrooms and the mini library as requested by Adam because he like reading, every bedroom has their symbol so no one could get confused especially you as you can see" I explain while she listens attentively so I continue talking.

"Your room doesn't have a symbol but it's the only one that has a white door so it's easier so I'll just tell the others including mine" We stop walking so I could explain.

"In the left-wing, it's your, mine and Aden's room while in the right-wing it's Nyx your brother, Adam, and Luca and the library is in the middle, Luca has a gun symbol on his door, Adam has a book obviously, Aden has a number 4, Nyx has a dagger and mine has a locket. You can have yours just tell any of us if you want so we can make it engrave on your door" I explain pointing to each door while she just nods, after that, we head downstairs.

The whole time is just telling her what kind of rooms we have until we reach the only room which no one enters while I seldom visit the piano room. Not just any piano but it's Natalya's piano as she liked playing before. I decided not to enter but she did, she looked around the furniture that is placed neatly inside and lastly looked at the piano touching some keys. She just stared at it and suddenly played a song, that song. I stare at her taken aback as she gracefully plays.

"Natalya "As I said Natalya's name she stopped playing only punching one key and abruptly stood up marching towards me to be welcomed by piercing pink eyes.

"I'm not her, stop saying her name mostly in front of me" She said before leaving me dazed and puzzled.
