CHAPTER III " I'M NOT HER, I CAN'T BE HER "

Lolita's P.O.V.

Ever since I showed up in this dormitory all I could hear is her name, why does that name so important. I don't like it, no I hate it.

I thought living here would be different but no it's much worse than in the human world. No one knows my presence.

"Natalya, who are you? You keep invading my life" As I looked in the mirror I didn't realize my eyes kept changing colors, but one color looks peculiar.

"When did I have pink eyes?! NYX!!!!!" I started to panic for some reason, why my eyes in pink hue?, what does it mean?, is it connected to her?. I couldn't control myself anymore as confusion took over my system.

Hendrix's P.O.V.

After she dashed out I didn't dare to follow her. Instead I rushed towards Luca’s bedroom but he wasn't there so I headed to the library and coincidentally Nyx was with him.

"Luca, what creature has pink eyes?" I suddenly asked them to snap their heads in my direction.

“Hendrix I don’t remember anyone having pink eyes“ Luca said but I insisted “No, just look if there’s one“ He looked at me then brought out some books and placed them on the table. He browsed every book that he got but none.

"Why do you want to know? No one exists that has pink eyes Hendrix" No there is one, you just don't know it.

"No one really exists like that in us but in one fantasy book that is here one" Adam suddenly jumps down from the top of bookshelves tossing a book on the table in-front of us.

"The truth behind the curse eyes, I never knew you read something like this Adam" Nyx is right, Adam always read something about history or science related and not something like this, a fantasy book.

"I never read one it's just that it capture my interest on how the story runs that's why I decided to read it and I think it will be useful to Hendrix" He said looking at the book and surprisingly his eyes is in light green color means his too interested about something and I guess it's the book.

I was about to grab the book when we heard glass breaking followed by a scream.

"NYX!!!" And we just knew we rushed towards Lolita's room and to be welcomed by wind or more like a storm surrounding her.

"Lolita it's me, calm down" Nyx said slowly while walking towards her step by step the storm surrounding her went down but still up.

As Nyx grabbed her and made her face him they were shocked but I wasn't. Nyx tries calming her down by using some of his powers and thankfully it works. She calms down her eyes coming back to it’s normal hue and slowly falling into a slumber for her brother to carry her.

“I’m bringing her to father and when I come back I’m talking with all of you especially you Hendrix“ He said before getting swallowed by the ground heading towards the underworld where their father is located, Satan.

Nyx’s .P.O.V.

I didn’t know it was possible but when I saw her eyes shining with sadness over them I couldn’t think straight. That's why I decided to make her sleep using my powers and immediately transported to father’s realm. I said I wouldn’t bring her here without her consent but I need to with or without her permission.

I carried her until I reached my fathers throne, servants greeted me normally I would respond back but now it doesn’t cross my mind. My father was sitting on the throne talking to his right man but when he sees me caring for my sister, his beloved daughter almost lifeless in his perspective but clearly she’s just sleeping, he comes down his throne rushing towards us worried sick about what happened.

“Nyx what happened to your sister? You call the royal doctor and tell her to proceed to the goddess room straight away“ He said ordering some warrior and taking her from my arms walking fast towards her room.

He lay her down at the same time our personal doctor came with his equipment. While father keeps walking back and forth.

“Father calms down she’s not dead only asleep as I make her fall asleep“ Well he does calm down but just a little as he continues to walk but more slower this time making me sign.

The doctor took care of her and he just said she's perfectly fine and just needed some rest because of shock. Everyone leaves the room except me and my father.

"Father, do you know something?" I asked and he just looked at me confused.

"About her eyes turning pink" As I said it's not confusion anymore but fear wash over his face.

"It's too early for that, leave her here for a while. I need to talk to her alone when she wakes up, take a rest in the university" Father said making me confused.

"But father why?? Why can't you tell me?" What is he hiding from me?

"I'll you son after talking to her for now rest you need it from what you're gonna know" If it's like this it means it's a huge problem.

I leave them behind returning to our dorm and expectedly they are waiting in the room.

"Hendrix, when did you see it?" I ask right away and they also wait for his answer.

"It was when I was touring her around the house, when we headed towards the room where the piano is located, she started playing with the piano and more she's playing what Natalya used to play when Aden and Adam were small" Weird she doesn't play any instrument.

"She maybe doesn't know how to play the piano, but playing what Natalya plays it's impossible. Maybe you're just mistaken" She can't be that girl, it's too impossible.

"I know it's that song then I didn't really mean it but I mumbled Natalya's name then she suddenly stopped leaving the room too fast that I didn't think of running after as I was clouded by what I see" He explained, why would she react like that?

"That's why you ask us to find out what kind of creature has pink eyes" Luca said Hendrix just nodded.

"I won't blame you but I'm still confused on how she has those eyes" Silence envelops us as we keep thinking about the possible things when Adam spoke.

"Do you know what the book says about the curse eyes?" He said but no one spoke so he just continue "It's about a human having a peculiar eyes as she commits as sin so God punishes her and to have the curse until she paid enough for her sin but she never realize it until the end, but anyway it couldn't be her, I mean Lolita is a demon more particularly Satan's daughter it's all just all a coincidence, right?" He said before standing up walking away with a knowing smile that no one notice except his twin brother.

"How's your sister?" Aden asked.

"Father said to leave her there tonight and I'll come back after he's done talking to her and just told me to rest. My father knows something about what's happening" He sighs heavily, thoughts filled with questions.

"I think his right just rest for now and have your mini goblins fix her room" Luca said pushing us out of the couch.

Lolita's P.O.V.

I woke up feeling light, I scan around realizing I'm inside my room in the palace.

"Who brought me here!?" I scream not too loud, that demon. I stand up abruptly to find my brother when I remember something, I rush towards my vanity mirror and open my eyes widely and blink a lot of times but nothing makes my eyes look normal.

I continue to stare at my reflection when my bedroom door opens revealing my father who I don't want to see.

"How are you feeling?" He asks and then gestures to someone to place a tray filled with food on the coffee table near the window.

"I'm fine, what happened?" I wanted to know everything that's happening.

"After you finish eating you'll find me in my study room and I'll tell you everything'' he said before shutting the door. I did what he said, I started eating at a fast pace so I could know the truth.

After I'm done eating I proceed to go to my father's study room. I knock a few times then enter to see him smoking.

"Father, stop smoking for a while and tell me the truth" He put down the cigarette and threw it, he sat in his chair meaning I should also do the same.

"It's about your eyes, it has something to do when you are 18" As father continues to explain what happened I couldn't help but feel bad and guilty knowing the truth on how my eyes turn pink and eventually it will happen again.

"I never knew that the spell would wear out so now you need to be careful, you need to be careful Lolita or it would cause you enough damage to kill you" I wish it wasn't true but it is and I can't change that.

I return back to the dorms with heavy shoulders passing everyone of them who greets me completely ignoring them even my brother, as I reach my room I flop down my body on the bed wishing I never knew.

I don't understand myself on why I'm feeling like this but all I know is that silent tears of regret fall like never before.

"You never be her Lolita, never, I can't be her" I whisper and darkness embraces me.
