CHAPTER V " I'M NOT HER, LOLI WHO ARE YOU"

Hendrix's P.O.V.

When Nyx asked us about helping him we couldn't agree that fast as it's too dangerous.

"I wanna ask you three if you're fine with Nyx's favor, if not you can decline" Luca said as Nyx left to go somewhere.

"It's fine with me as long as she cooperates with me, with us" Adam said, continuing reading some books.

"Lolita seems nice so it's fine with me" Aden said smiling, he always likes smiling.

"It's fine with me" I said and Luca nodded.

"It's also fine with me and by the way Hendrix please just please avoid connecting Natalya for this" He said as I nod, I'll try.

"So it's settled, go tell Nyx we agree to his favor" He said looking directly at me.

"I'll go with you. I need to tell Lolita something to Lolita“ Aden said, following me towards Nyx’s bedroom but after knocking a few times, no one answer so I decided to open it but Nyx was nowhere.

“Maybe he's with his sister“ Aden said, us walking towards her room, Lolita.

I was about to knock but Aden suddenly pulled my wrist and signaled me not to talk. I wanted to protest but when I heard them inside talking I understood why so we waited a while for them to finish talking then we’ll knock. After some minutes we decided to finally knock.

"It's me Hendrix and Aden can we come in?" I asked, no one replied but the door open revealing Nyx and letting us in

"We already decided to help, if it means protecting her" I said to Nyx but I couldn’t look away at her so I stared straight at her.

"But we can't assure that our help would make something different, I mean you're both a demon and some things are different from your system than us but we'll try our best" I continue to say and Nyx sighs in relief.

"Can I accompany her later on at the academy?"Aden suddenly asked, making me look at him and she just nodded and smiled a little.

"Alright I'll see you at the gates later" He said before skipping away leaving me behind, what’s with him?.

"Right we have to attend the academy later I almost forgot, See you later sis" Nyx came out dragging me with him.

“I’ll see you later“ Nyx said as he pulled me out of the room and headed towards his bedroom and as always shutting his door and locked it so no one can bother him while resting. I started to walk to my room which is next to her. I was gonna open my door when I heard something fall and I thought it was nothing but it happened again and again and I followed the noise to only bring me back to her room.

I know it’s not right to but I see her door not close properly so I sneak a pick and see Lolita playing with a goblin.

"Hey tiny one, why are you here?" She said as the goblin held her finger that she used to poke its belly making it giggle. She seems to have fun playing with the goblins.

"I fell from a hole then landed here in your room" The goblin said in a female voice and continued to hold her finger with her hands.

"I'll keep you for now but if your parents find you, you'll go alright tiny one" She said and continued to tickle her and for the first time this day, I saw her smile widely without anything mixed with it.

I decided to close her door carefully not to get noticed and to my room laying on my bed.

“Lolita, if you're not Natalya then where is she“ I couldn’t help but sigh loudly but remembering her smiling face also made me smile.

After preparing and changing into my uniform I head to the dining room to see Luca already preparing food and one by one everyone arrives. Lolita is the last one to arrive with the goblin.

As time passes Aden keeps talking because the goblin, Loli as Lolita said, keeps playing with him but not to his twin brother Adam.

Loli, short name Lolita, genuinely look happy to have Loli with her that she even bring it to the academy with her, everyone has something to do so we split after arriving at the gate, Aden and Lolita with Loli goes together while Adam goes to the garden to reward book as always and Luca and Nyx of to somewhere while I decided to just take a nap on my classroom.

Lolita’s P.O.V.

I woke up because something felt heavy on my chest and when I took Loli was snuggling on my chest sleeping peacefully.

“I wish I could have a company like this every day without them leaving every day behind because of what am I“ I whisper staring at the ceiling of my room which I notice is designed with stars, I don’t understand why I’m fond of them maybe because I couldn’t see stars in the underworld when I use to stay them but after seeing it in the human world I can’t stop myself to look at it.

I place Loli beside me before standing up, I look at her first then head outside. I need to think about something without getting disturbed.

I head towards the garden our dormitory has, I've seen it when Ethan took me here. Speaking of Ethan, did he know I'm a demon? Then why didn't he tell me and just left without telling me.

I dip my toe on the pool, it's cold. Too cold for someone like me, I just sit while I completely put my foot on the water, I don't care if I feel too cold and just stare at my reflection.

I keep staring without me realizing my thoughts are flooded by unwanted thoughts that made me see my eyes turning pink again.

I stand up abruptly making me slip and fall on the pool letting myself sink deeper and deeper. Until I hear my name being called.

"Ita... Ita where are you?" I know that voice, Loli. She's the only one who calls me that.

'I'm here' I say but remember I'm under the water she wouldn't even hear me scream, why won't I swim up, what's happening to me.

I feel numb, I feel cold yet it feels comforting, too comfortable that my eyelids slowly close.

Adam's P.O.V.

Like my usual routine, I'm reading a book but I decided to read near the pool on the patio. When I put my book on the table I see someone.

"Oh? Loli, what is she doing here" I asked myself and followed her by my eyes.

She walks near the pool, she might drown there. I approach her and hear she's saying something.

"Ita...Ita where are you?" Is she crying, I approach her and kneel beside her.

"Loli, why are you crying?" I said, picking her up.

"It is under there" She said while pointing and when I looked where she's pointing at the pool.

"Ita? You mean Lolita is under there?" She just nodded and continued to cry. I put her on the patio at the table.

"I look for Lolita, stay here" She nods and wipes her tears.

I look around the pool when I see a shadow underwater. I look closely to see clearer and when I do Lolita's under but her eyes it's glowing pink.

I didn't think twice and swam to her, when I reached her she already had her eyes closed, I pulled her up faster. I shake her carefully and she just opens her eyes and it's still glowing pink.

"Help me" She suddenly said, tears streaming down her face.

"It's me Adam can you hear me?" I asked but she didn't answer back so I tapped her cheeks.

"Help me" She keeps repeating those words but she suddenly stops, hearing someone singing.

I stop moving and look to find Loli beside me singing and when I look Lolita's eyes keep shifting from Pink to Red to Silver to Dark Blue to Brown and it keeps continuing as Loli keeps singing and when she stops Lolita drops to my chest and completely passes out.

"Loli come here" I said and she climbed on my shoulder.

I pick Lolita bridal style and teleport to the living room to see them playing except Hendrix is not here

"Nyx" I call her brother and when he sees us he rushes towards me and gets Lolita off me and places her on the couch and Loli stays to cling on my shoulder.

"What happened to her? Why are you both wet?" Nyx asked and he wiped Lolita with a towel that I don't know where he got it.

"I don't know, I only wanted to read a book on the patio when I saw Loli cry and call Lolita and when I asked why she said Lolita is underwater" I said as Aden handed me a towel and dropped myself on the other couch.

"Lolita, her eyes turn pink again" As I said, Nyx's head snapped in my direction.

"But it was different this time"As I said they stop doing what they're doing and listen to me "It's so different when she keeps on repeating to help her she can't even hear me calling her"

"She's calmer now than the other time" Luca said and all of us just nodded our heads.

"She is but there's more interesting than her being calm "They just keep listening to me" It's Loli when she starts singing Lolita stops talking but her eyes keep changing from pink to dark blue to brown which didn't happen last time "As I said they look at Loli who is now playing with Lolita's finger. Aden approaches her and holds her on his lap.

"Loli, what did you sing a while ago? Can you sing it again for me?" Lolita just smiled and started singing.

This song, it's too calm that's making me want to sleep even though I don't need it. When she finishes singing she smiles at Aden who is now dozing off so I pick the towel and throw it to him.

We stay silent for a whole when I hear someone cursing.

"Yah! Who did this to the pool?!" Hendrix? Pool?

We head outside to see the pool completely frozen.

"Do you think it has to do with her?" Luca asked or more on the state it.

"What happened to Lolita?" Hendrix asked not to care about the pool anymore.

"She almost drowned for some reason and her eyes turned pink again "As Aden stops talking Hendrix walks inside.

"We need to start training her as soon as possible or her power will get out of control and much worse than that and I won't anything to happen that I'll regret" Nyx said as he stared at the dorm or house where Lolita is.

But I'm more concerned about someone. I'm concerned for Lolita but Loli, what made her sing that song. Her song.

"Loli who are you?" I said as I walked to the patio where I left my book.
