CHAPTER IX " I'M NOT HER, EX LOVERS"

Lolita's P.O.V.

I shouldn’t be feeling guilty on why she’ll get involved in this, this is how it’s supposed to be, but I still felt bad maybe because it can hurt them especially Hendrix but why do I care? I just knew them for days yet I’m feeling this.

“Lolita you're changing because of this, you need to stop ”I said to myself, I wasn’t supposed to be this soft towards them, towards anyone but because of these powers I couldn’t control myself anymore.

I look at my wrist with the newly put school tattoo and it’s irritating on how the demon symbol looks. Inside the circle there’s a person mixed with a dragon or more like a phoenix with horns. It looks like a monster, well I’m a monster.

“I'll get this removed sooner “I don’t want to keep this because it’s different from others. I know it’s different because I have seen from the other demon's wrist that my symbol is not identical to the others. They’re symbol only has a person with horns.

“If it’s different then what am I? “I sigh closing my eyes to take a rest but when I hear my door creak I open my eyes looking at the person.

Nyx's P.O.V.

Ever since I lash out at Lolita we still haven't talked, I wanted to apologize but I don't know how. I never did.

It was in the middle of me and Luca's class when Hendrix called us saying what happened to Lolita, at first I'm worried but when he said her eyes turned black I felt fine. It already happened and it always happens when she's exhausted.

Our class finishes and we walk towards our dorm.

"I think we should transfer sooner the better "Luca said

"I can ask father to transfer tomorrow "Luca nodded as I said and when we arrived at the dorm we saw Hendrix sitting in the living room, like he was thinking too much.

"Natalie,'' he suddenly said, making the two of us confused.

"That name, I know now that it triggers Lolita "He said looking at us with an unreadable expression.

"What do you mean it triggers her? "Luca asked, sitting on the other chair while I took a seat in-front of Hendrix.

"Lolita asked me a favor of calling that name but before that she brought me to your home "He said looking at me, why would she bring him there.

"When I did, her eyes turned pink then switched to red "When he said I felt angry but Luca held me back.

"But the thing is she switch back to normal fast and without doing anything, she asked me to say Natalie's name because she wants to know if she's connected for the happening and it did, her name trigger Lolita to change "Hendrix said making me more confuse, how could that name trigger Lolita.

"I need to ask father about this, and tell everyone to pack their things we're leaving tomorrow or the next day "

When I arrived at my Father's place he knew why I was going so I immediately asked him. When he explained everything I wish I shouldn't have asked.

I came back with a clouded mind as I recall what my father said. I walk and walk until I arrive at her door and without knocking I come inside to see her laying down on the bed but staring straight at me.

"Can we thank you? "She nodded sitting up patting the space beside her.

"I’m sorry for making you worried, I just wanted to give you the cat “She said pulling her sleeves down.

“No, I'm sorry I lash out at you, I’m just too worried for you especially you go to a place with lots of humans but I know I shouldn’t say those to you so I’m really sorry please don’t be mad at me anymore “She looked at me smiling.

“I was never mad at you, I just felt sad that’s all but I’m not mad at you “She said before hugging me.

“Lolita “I called her and she hum “Can I see the cat? “As I asked she smiled widely pulling to the other room opposite to her. When she opens the door I see Loli playing with a cat also with things that are suitable for Loli.

“I never knew there's a room like this in here “Maybe because I’m too occupied by what’s happening.

“Adam made it for Loli and since the cat doesn’t have a room we put the cat together with Loli and Loli seems to like the cat very much, here the cat looks exactly like you even Aden said so “She said holding the cat close to me.

“Really? But it looks like you more than me Lolita “I held the cat close to me and the cat snuggled close to me.

“The cat likes you “She said smiling, I like to see her smiling. We had fun playing with the cat but when father’s rung on my mind again I felt worried and sad. You shouldn’t have experienced this Lolita.

“Right, so when are we moving? “Lolita asked to feed Loli with some kind of food.

“Tomorrow or the next day but don’t think too much I’ll send a goblin here for your things and also for Loli and the cat…. Do you want to name the cat? “

“I don’t know what you think, it’s your cat “She said slightly tilting her head.

“Alright, when I come up with the name I’ll tell you, let’s go down stairs I’m hungry when I not suppose to be ”She giggle a little, well demon doesn’t need to eat food but ever since I attend this academy I start eating food as they don’t aloud any demon to eat souls and sooner or later even Lolita would get used to the food.

Lolita’s P.O.V.

The day of moving came and all of our things are being transported to the new dorm or more like a house now because it’s off the academy and it’s quite big with training grounds.

As we decided to finally leave the dorm I held the cat with me and Loli was in Aden’s arm pinching his cheeks.

“Lolita why does Loli like pinching my cheeks? She never does this to the others “Aden whined but I just shrugged my shoulder, maybe because his cheeks are a bit chubby that’s why she keeps pinching it.

We teleported to the house and it’s really beautiful, it has a garden with different flowers and most important is that the sky is really seen here, the stars are more visible than before.

“Welcome “Somebody spoke and when I turned around I froze.

“Thanks Ethan for letting us stay here even though we might have a conflict between an angel and demons “What is this??

‘You never said we’ll be staying with someone more of an angel ‘I said to Nyx mind.

‘I forgot just don’t talk to him ‘He replied back.

“Hi Lolita “Ethan said, waving at me and I just laughed awkwardly.

“You knew each other? “Hendrix asked, looking at the two of us.

“Yeah/No “We both said at the same time.

“No, but yes he helped me on the first day about the school because Nyx asked him “I explain and they nod and not me noticing Ethan said sadly.

“I didn’t ask me, the dean sent him okay there’s a difference “Nyx defended himself but why?

“Let’s head inside, your things are already set in your own room even for the cat and the goblin.

“Her name is Loli “Aden said, setting down Loli then she petted the cat as I also put it down.

“No one touches Nyx and Lolita’s things except the goblins so don’t worry and for the other some angels help to put it on your rooms “Ethan said and assisted us on where our room is.

“Some goblin said that your doors have symbols on it except for two rooms so I had it engrave already on the door so it won’t be confusing “As he said everyone head to their own room, me and Aden put Loli and the cat to their room before heading to our room but before that he goes to my room.

“You also have stars on the ceiling here, why is that? “He said looking up.

“I really like stars you know, it calms me down “I said, also looking up not knowing Aden is already looking at me admiring my features.

“You have it requested? “He said and I just nod not wanting to explain that I didn’t request it but I think Ethan remembers that in the human world my home there is a field with stars maybe he remembers.

“Remember when I said I needed to do something “He said, ``It was the time I needed him because of the tattooing.

“Yeah, I’m a bit annoyed with you “I said making his eyes widen

“Why? Did I do something? “He asked, evident that he was nervous.

“I need you when they put this tattoo on me “I said, showing my wrist with the tattoo.

“I’m sorry I didn’t know it was that day, but to make it up to you here “He grabbed my hand and placed something on it.

“Hell it’s really pretty Aden “It was a bracelet with a crescent and stars.

“Like I said I noticed the stars on your ceiling on your previous and also some things that are in the shape of stars so I headed back to the mall with Adam and had it customized for you, look your name is engraved on the crescent “He said smiling.

“Thank you Aden “I said, suddenly hugging him. It lasted for a second before I realized what I did.

“Umm I’ll head to my room now, take a rest “He said leaving almost running.

I took a rest and when I knew it was time to prepare to get down to have food, I bump into Ethan.

“Hi, Lolita “He greeted me. I wanted to avoid him by walking away from him and he pulled me back by my wrist.

“Lolita please talk to me,'' he said, turning to face him.

“What are we gonna talk about? We already talked and that’s final “I said before walking away again but this time he stopped me by back hugging me.

“Lolita I know you still love me and so do I so please at least talk to me “He said but I freed myself from him.

“Stop, I don’t love you anymore, it’s all in the past now “I almost shouted but I held my voice down so no one would hear but I guess they did.

“What was that Lolita? “My brother Nyx asked to make chills run through my body.

“You loved him before? “Another one spoke and it’s Hendrix.

“Yeah what did we hear Lolita? “This time it was Adam who asked while Luca and Aden remained silent waiting for me to talk.

“We had a past when we were in the human world “I said and they waited for me to continue but I couldn't do so.

“We used to be lovers before I left her to come back here “Ethan said and Nyx held Ethan’s collar and slammed him on the wall and released him immediately.

“Young lady, we will talk back at home now,'' he said before disappearing. I looked around to see them shocked because of what they knew, and I did not want to be bombarded with questions. I teleported back home to see my brother and father together with my mother.
