30 Days in Rome

After all my classes, Anabelle and I decided to head out to our dorm. We said goodbye to Jomar then walked down the hallways. 


"I told you Henderson likes you" Anabelle sang 


I rolled my eyes, pretending not to be affected, even though I was dying of happiness inside 


As if on cue, we spotted Mr Henderson at the exit door. He was on his phone. 


"Hey" he greeted "Ruby can I talk to you for a moment" 


"I'll catch up with you later" I told Annabelle 


When she left, I walked over to Mr. Henderson 


"I want to talk to you. I need to show you something" 


He sounded serious. What could be so important that he would want to show me? 


"How bout at night? We can leave by 7 then come back before curfew by 8" 


I thought about it for a moment. That didn't sound so bad. Afterall, seniors were allowed to go out. 


"My car will be at the other exit. The one we used to sneak in last night"
