"What do you mean that it gets worse?" My temper slowly fades but lingers in my voice.
He shrugs. "My abilities before, like accessing the mainframe, are dangerous. Especially for you"
"What do you mean?" I feel more worried than angry.
"I think when I accessed the mainframe, I leaked our position to my superiors. I know since the moment I met you, that you don't like my kind because, well, you shot me. I don't want to endanger you or cause you to stress about it so I disabled that part of me. In doing so, I'm beginning to forget how to use my humanoid abilities. It's why I said you'll be able to unlock me when you're older."
That still doesn't make sense to me but I'm starting to understand a little more about him. I just wished he remembered what it was that he was built for.
I couldn't help but say. "But I can't unlock it until I'm older because you will forget by then."
