"You are all welcomed by King Silver of the Oscuridad El Reino, with his soon to be, Queen, Aria. We ask that you dine and be attentive. That we avoid clashes and are wary of everything that is done. Again, we welcome you and ask you to enjoy your evening."

This was all too real, all too realistic and all too much for me to take in. His hand gripped my own and felt cold yet welcoming to my very warm ones. My nerves were trying to take over and I could feel my anxiety try to choke me but I couldn't let it. So I let out a shaky breath and took in the ground that swiftly bowed before continuing to their seats.

It was clear that everything had been structured in a certain way. There were names on certain tables and seats, all written in different languges with numbers. Probably to assist the servers that couldn't speak the languages. Yet everyone was professional as they took their seats.

It wasn't hard to see that some resented each other, so that was probably mentioned when structuring the event. "And that you are correct in assuming. We all have clashes with each other and whenever we have balls or celebrations, we need to be fair when we invite everyone to the celebration but that doesn't mean we need to be blindly trusting." He said without looking at her.

"But how would you know that they wouldn't?" I asked, curious about how they seemed to think they had enough control. "Every ruler is given the advantage of bringing six of their own with them. They are given their own seating and space and when they dance together they know who to avoid.

If a friction takes place, their first warnings are given by Quin and Salvaster. After that there is no warning, its automatic removals from the realm and they cannot return ever again unless they are willing to give an innoncent soul for their slate." He said mockingly.

Letting out a forced chuckle, I turned to him and asked, "What a joke, how many of them actually bring souls?"

"Four every two weeks of every season." He stated seriously as he gave me a look. "You're joking?" I asked, trying to find some source of humor in his facial expression but there wasn't any. "Has there been anyone here that has already gotten into your bad books to deliver such requests?"

"Do you really want that answer?" he asked.

Honestly, she didn't know. She was trying to figure out if staying was the best option for her but he wasn't making it easy for her to decide. She had been trying to figure things out for a while yet at this point it seemed as though he was pushing her to leave. As if he wanted her to choose to go back on earth and not return to him at all.

But why?

"Your highness," they heard and turned to find a woman dressed in red and black. Her hair tied high with rubies and black diamonds sparkling like crystals. The dress was tight around her body, showing of her small curves in every way possible.

Aria could remember seeing the woman touching Silver when she entered the room with Salvaster. She had forgotten her in a second because of her nerves but now… it seemed as though the woman wanted me to see her.

Such pride, I tsked, such illuminating pride.

"Witch." He responded. She was grateful for the fact that he, at least, did not greet her with any sort of warmth or desire in his throat. No, no, he was cold to her and that was the only thing that kept Aria satisfied.

That was until she saw the woman take another step up the stairs towards him, with desire literally leaking off of her. This woman had the audacity to make the statement and I don't know how the woman behaved in the past but this was not what she would allow.

Even if she was considering leaving this place to return to her mother. After all, it was either him or the woman who practically raised her.
