Chapter 18 Roaming around the city

Sean and Wendell stayed at Sapphire restaurant as they provided lodging services as well. The Admission and entrance test is only after five days so Wendell made plans with Sean to show around the city. The next day Sean and Wendell got up a bit late as they were tired from the travel and came down to have breakfast. As they finished a rather light breakfast Wendell asked Sean to wait for some time as he saw Sean getting ready to go out to tour the city. Both Sean and Wendell waited for sometime when suddenly a beautiful blond came inside the restaurant and Wendell's eyes brightened the second he saw her as he waved his hand while shouting "Sherry, over here". Sherry who saw him also smiled and came towards Wendell and hugged him.

The hugging continued for almost 10 seconds when Sean coughed bringing them out of their blissful state. Wendell and Sherry quickly released each other while Wendell coughed pretending nothing had happened Sherry blushed with embarrassment. In order to change the subject Wendell introduced Sean to Sherry by saying "This is my younger brother Sean who will start attending our Academy as a freshmen this year" and looked at Sean and said "This is Sherry, a teammate of mine in the mercenary and also in our Academy".

Sean who heard this laughed a bit and extended his hand towards Sherry and said with a smile "Hi, I am Sean. Nice to meet you big sister Sherry". Sean added the term 'big sister' to emphasize that he had figured out that Sherry and Wendell were in a relationship. Sherry who heard this blushed once again while Wendell had a hand on his forehead as Sherry proceeded to say "Hi, I am Sherry Crosswood. I am your brother's girlfriend" while turning to Wendell and said "You never mentioned having such a handsome brother".

"Well even I did not know he would turn into a such a good looking fellow" said Wendell as he still remembered being shocked when he saw Sean after a year when he went to the family to pick him up. He was also repeatedly shocked by how Sean became more handsome and tall as his skin is now practically glistening. He could also see lean muscles forming in his body and forearms and knew that his brother has gotten much stronger during the time when they traveled.

Sean who heard this comment from Sherry only smiled as he knew the reason. It was Genetic enhancement which not only increased his body stats, it also removed impurity from his body. Warriors generally undergo process of body transformation while impurity being removed when they reach level 6 which also results in increase of lifespan. However genetic enhancement removes impurity at every level. Currently Sean has used basic body enhancement and strength and agility enhancement for 2 levels. Though he did not know how much he has improved, he knew that he could fight with Wendell easily.

Soon Sean, Wendell and Sherry went out of the restaurant and started touring various places in Golem city. Wendell introduced the mercenary guild, weapons shop, blacksmith shop, Alchemy shops, Potions shop. It was afternoon when they decided to take a break by heading to the Academy where they could get food from cafeteria. Wendell bragged about the Academy's cafeteria as the prices of the food is low and the food is both healthy as well as tasty. Within a short time they arrived at the entrance of the Academy.

Four leaves Warrior Academy is one of top ten Academies in the Arcadia kingdom ranking at number 9. Even though the number seems glorious there are only ten Warrior Academies in the entire country and all are in big cities. Since Golem city is a big city it also has a Warrior Academy. However Golem city is more famous for Mage academy rather than Warrior Academy. In other words the Four Leaves Warrior Academy is ranked as one of last few Academies in the Kingdom. However the facility provided to the students were extremely good but most of the students who study at this Academy are from normal, small or medium level families. The entire Academy spanned to many miles as Sean looked around the buildings which were built in an ancient style and various training fields and arenas where students were practicing or dueling with each other. Wendell introduced various facilities to Sean while Sherry had hooked with Wendell's arm. Soon the three of them arrived at cafeteria where there were 2 floors. The ground floor had many students eating together while the top floor which Wendell chose was more quiet as students who are here were more refined like they were from a family and they ate in separate tables with sofas for each group. Wendell asked Sherry and Sean to sit at a place while he went to order food for them.

Sean and Sherry chose a table at the end of the hall and sat near each other and Sherry asked Sean about various matters such as which level he was in? how was Wendell in the family? does Wendell have any girl he liked in their city? does Sean have anyone he liked? for which Sean replied with smile on his face while thinking that she really liked to gossip. Wendell soon came after placing the orders and sat at the end of the sofa near Sherry while Sean was at the other end while Sherry was in the middle. Just as they were talking more about the Academy, they heard a voice of a student from nearby table saying "Damn another student went missing yesterday and it was a third year student. His dorm mate reported to the security officials in school that he did not come yesterday night to the form and has been missing since then".

"That is already 14 students and they are all been missing from our Warrior Academy. The security officials does no know anything. Of this goes on like this more of us would be in danger" said another student.

Wendell and Sherry who heard this had a solemn look on their face and asked the students who were talking near them about who went missing? After all they were from third year.

"Terry Weizmann" said the student. "Terry Weizmann!!" shouted Sherry who obviously knew him and so was Wendell who had a shocked look on his face as he said "That is not the main problem here. Till now the people who went missing were only students from normal family, however Terry is from a clan, albeit a small one. This is the first time a a member of a clan has been targeted". The students who heard this were also shocked while one of them shouted "This is insane. The officials must take necessary action to find out who is behind the disappearance". As the cafeteria in the first floor is relatively quiet almost everyone heard them and the atmosphere quickly turned gloomy.

Sean who was quiet till now said "That is not all, from what you have said at first it was level 1 Warrior and had two missing and now it is level 2 warrior with 12 missing we can deduce that he is a Warrior of level 2 or just entered level 3, otherwise there would be no need to kill low level warriors when you are a high level warrior. Further, till now there were only students from normal family who went missing but now, a member of small clan went missing. This means that he has an adventurous/reckless attitude who has confidence in not getting caught or seeks thrill. If this continues soon he/they will start targeting warriors of level 3 from small or even medium level clan". These words made others in the cafeteria look towards him in shock. Soon everyone who heard these words, thought and felt that these words made sense.

At this time a group of five students stood from a corner table. There were 2 boys and three girls, all looked exceptionally good. They were wearing an arm band and a student near Sean and others said " What is student council doing here? ".A beautiful girl from the group came before Sean and asked with a smile " Which year are you from".

"I have yet to join the Academy. I am waiting for the entrance test" said Sean with a smile that he always has. "We are from student council. Once you get in the Academy consider joining student council. A person with your analysis ability will be of much use to us" said another beautiful girl who had red hair and Sean who looked her though maintained his calm smile knew that she was the powerful one of the group and possibly the President of the student council and from a rather high pedigree because even amongst those student council, the way she carried herself was different.

Sean who heard this, saw her while continuing to maintain his smile as he made eye contact with her without fear or shyness and asked "And you are Miss... "

"Carmella Rothschild" said the beauty.

"I'll give you an answer after I join the Academy Miss Carmella" said Sean as he saw the beauty nodd and the group walk away as Sean and group sat down once again to eat.
