Chapter 37

Sean spent the next few hours fiddling with his system searching for equipments which are useful for and improve his surveillance range. He bought drones which were capable of getting a clear footage from a distance of up to 2500 meters in the air and also equipped with night vision radar. The equipments from the system were quite advanced and if used properly could improve his combat efficiency to a great extent. He also bought rovers which were basically cylindrical shaped robots with small calibre machine gun installed. These rovers could be moved using a controller and could be used as a tool for an ambush and finally the most important item he had always wanted to buy - an AWM and the system had made adjustment to it which could make him snipe a target at a distance of 2500 meters.

Sean used up a total of 105 million dollars to improve his arsenal and stored them in the inventory. Then Sean started planning on ways to get Lucy to sleep with him. This was not only for the purpose to satiate his ever growing lust, he also planned for a long time. He needed someone who had a limited personal background and who had incredible brilliance and ruthlessness as an assistant and Lucy became the perfect target for Sean. Sean had never planned on working for anyone after being reborn. Working for Carmella was nothing more than a short term plan in order to gain experience as well as gaining combat information in order to check his efficiency after all he does not know whether guns could be effective in a one on one combat against someone from level 9 and above.

In his past life he had served his country and had killed anyone whom the country had deemed to be a threat to itself be it innocent or otherwise. However in this life he will never serve anyone nor will he be loyal to anyone. In this world not only does Sean aim for riches as his system requires large amount of resources to truly bring out its potential, he also aim to be the strongest as well as to achieve immortality in this world. A true passion towards immortality and strength had awoken for Sean after his death in his previous life. After his reincarnation and after obtaining the system he had planned to travel around this entire world while increasing his power. There is no way he would be tied up with a particular faction and to achieve that he would atleast need to form a Mercenary team filled with talented personnel.

Sean stopped thinking about the future while saying "I am only at the begining of my journey. There is no use inn thinking about the future. I had better think about a way to seduce Lucy. I could always spike her food with an aphrodisiac but that could go wrong in a number of ways. As for making her fall in love with me, I would have to study her character and this is not a thing which can be achieved within a short period of time". "Should I go with option 1 or 2?" said Sean questioning himself.

Meanwhile in the Northern part of the city there were lots of small inns and restaurant which is generally used by civilians and small merchants to stay and to eat. Inside of one such inn there was a family of 5 who were having a sumptuous lunch as this was going to be the last day they are staying in the city. It was a merchant family and they were currently treating the youngest son of the head of the family. The family head's name was Alvaro and he was a small time merchant who ran a cloth shop in a medium sized city called Diamond city. He had a total of two sons and one daughter. Though his eldest son and eldest daughter did not have potential to become warriors and were helping him look after his business, his youngest son Albert was someone who had good potential and had trained to level 3 Warrior.

Alvaro used his connection which he acquired as a merchant to book an admission seat in advance for his son. "Albert this is a great opportunity for you. Train diligently and try to make as much connections as possible. This would help you set a proper foundation for future and no matter what do not make any enemies for yourself, especially those from families".

"Yes father, I understand" said Albert while eating his lunch. His elder brother, elder sister and mother also accompanied him in this journey as they knew that they would not be able to see Albert frequently in the future. Albert knew that the prosperity of his family would depend on how successful he becomes. If he could achieve a good level as a warrior he could become affiliated with some clan and this would in turn improve and protect his family. He felt both happy and pressured because of this situation. Happy because he could be useful to his family and pressured because he did not have any room to commit mistakes. Soon the family finished their meal and the head of the family paid the bill for the food and gave a bag filled with coins to Albert saying "Keep these for your expenses. Be wise on spending them. As a warrior you require a lot of medicinal pills and equipments so cut down any unnecessary expenses. I'll send your monthly allowance through the post. Though you are still young you will be in charge of your own expenses and will be taking care of your own safety. Just concentrate on your training we will look after the business.".

Albert nodded his head and finally said goodbyes to his family and watched them go in their carriage. Since there was still some things he needed to buy before the Academy year starts, Albert set off to shop. By the time he completed the purchase of his necessary things it was already evening. "I had better get to the inn and have my dinner and sleep early. It's just like Dad said the coins are not enough to get by the month. I had better not buy unnecessary stuff" thought Albert as he shaked his coin purse while looking deflated.

The high end shops were in the centre of the city while other small stores were in the eastern part of the city where the poor families within the city live. Albert had gone exactly to this part of the city. Despite lowering the quality of equipment by buying from small shops, the money his father gave had already run out. Now he barely has enough money to eat for this month. Albert looked around and hurriedly ran towards the northern part of the city towards his inn after all the eastern part of the city was extremely chaotic filled with bandits and thieves.

Just as Albert was running towards the exit of the Eastern part to enter the Central part of the city he saw a voluptuous beautiful lady wearing a loose robe standing at the edge of the alley. "Little brother, where are you running so hurriedly. Why not spend some time with this big sister. I'll show you a good time" said the voluptuous lady as she winked at Albert while giving him a flying kiss. Albert stopped once he saw the voluptuous woman and blushed after seeing her flirting with him. Just as Albert planned on ignoring the woman to run away from the area, the woman held his hand and linked his arm with hers while pushing her breast against his arm while slightly showing her cleavage.

Albert's senses muddled as he felt her soft breasts and snow white skin from her cleavage and was dragged into the alley. Albert tried to use his strength to push the woman away but felt he could not use his strength and his bones felt soft without any power. Though Albert's instincts were screaming for him to run, he could not do so and started to give in to pleasure by responding to the woman's kisses.

The woman kissed his lips while holding the back of his head and inserted her tongue and caught his tongue with hers and started a tongue war inside Albert's mouth. The already muddled head of Albert went to an overdrive after feeling the pleasure from his very first French kiss. The woman continued this for almost 30 seconds before releasing him as Albert gasped for his breath and slumped down against the wall in the alley. There was a link of saliva between the woman and Albert which she wiped off and took a step back.

Albert tried to get up but could not feel any strength in his legs and tried to circulate his Qi and was shocked to see his entire body devoid of Qi. Albert looked in horror at the woman and asked "What have you done to me?". The woman just smirked while another man slowly came out from the end of the Alley pulling a small carriage which had many fruits and vegetables. He took out a sack and spread it open and went towards Albert and knocked him out before stuffing him in the sack and stuffed him underneath the pile of fruits and vegetables.

"Let's go back to the house " said the man as he pulled the carriage out of the alley and moved towards the residential area of Eastern part of the city where houses of low to medium income normal families stayed.
