Chapter 38

Sean spent the next few hours lying down on the sofa to get some rest while Lucy slept in the room. Previously he had deduced that if he wanted to make Lucy loyal to him and fall in love with him, he should restrain himself from making any hasty moves against her. From the fact that Lucy had stayed loyal to Carmella for so many years proved that she was a loyal person and could not be shaken just by throwing a few benefits. If Sean seduced her hastily, he could obviously have a relationship with her but that would be only a physical relationship. That would not last for very long and Lucy would always stay loyal to Carmella.

Sean decided to look at long term benefit and decided to take things slow with Lucy with the intent to make her more loyal to himself. That didn't mean that Sean planned to have her betray Carmella as that would only bring a negative impact and effectively alarm Lucy after all she had been with Carmella from her childhood. The best Sean could do at present was continue to slowly get close to Lucy and if possible to Carmella as well and let them get their guard down and become closer to them.

Soon it was evening and Lucy came out of her room refreshed to find Sean sleeping on the couch. Since there was still time to eat dinner Lucy made two cups of hot coffee and brought it to the table which was in between the two sets of sofa and sat on the opposite side of Sean waiting for him to wake up. On the contrary the second Lucy opened the door to come out of her room, Sean woke up but just pretended to be asleep. It was just a part of defense mechanism that Sean had trained his awareness to go alert if anyone comes near him. Sean continued to pretend to sleep because one could study the true nature of a person when they are or feel like they are alone.

In front of others Humans tend to wear a mask to act. This could be a mask which they wear consciously or unconsciously. Be it a person towards his family, friends, co-workers or a lover they tend to portray different mask in order to make the other party have a liking towards them. They show their true nature to vary few people or they may never show it to anyone. The only time it can be seen is when they are alone and have no need to wear a mask. Sean was observing Lucy through his system which was streaming a live show. Sean had previously set up pin cameras in the living and the bedroom and had been watching this Lucy ever since she came back from Carmella's place. The camera was wireless and could be watched through his system and does not require laptop. Unfortunately Sean could not read much from this footage.

Meanwhile in the eastern part of the city, in a residential locality, a small carriage carrying fruits and vegetables in various sacks was dragged by a man and was accompanied by a robed person who apart from eyes everything was covered but from the shape of the person one could deduce it to be a woman. It was the woman from the alley who had seduced Albert. They moved towards an independent two story building with a lawn in front which was extremely rare for this locality as the entire place was filled with lower and middle class income families. Soon they set the small carriage in the lawn and proceeded to enter the house. The house had very little furniture and lacked lightings. There were two people sitting in the only sofa which was in the living room. One was a middle aged man with pale skin and the other was a twelve year old boy who had an emancipated and pale look. If Sean had seen this boy he would have recognised him. He was the boy who was in level 2 and defeated a level 3 warrior with ease. Though he lost on the second round that was because he had to fight a level 4 warrior.

"Did you finish the job?" asked the pale looking man while looking at the man and the robed woman. "Yes master we have got him. He is stuffed in the sack and placed below the vegetables and fruit sack. He has also been given a tranquilliser and a Qi disruption pill. He won't be able to wake up any time soon".l said the man while the woman removed her robe. It was the voluptuous woman from the alley who seduced Albert and currently she was wearing an extremely loose robe which showed most of her pale white soft skin which would make any man's blood boil.

She strode without adjusting her loose robe and went towards the pale looking middle aged man and straddled on his lap and encircled her arm around his neck. From this pose the middle aged man could see her deep cleavage and the pale looking boy who sat on the opposite sofa could see her bare ass, as the bottom part of the dress was lifted when she straddled the middle aged man.

"Master when are we leaving?" asked the woman in a seductive voice for which the middle aged man said "We are leaving soon. This place is filled with enforcers looking for the culprit behind the destruction of Sapphire restaurant. We will bring our sacrifice to our mansion. Over there we do not need to worry about being investigated. Transport the sack containing our sacrifice inside our carriage and we will set off immediately" said the pale looking middle aged man.

"Yes master" said the man who came with the woman and went towards the main door while the woman went on to kiss the middle aged man and the boy who was seated in the sofa got up and moved towards the woman and grabbed her robe and pulled it to the side and started massaging and pinching her breasts and nipples. Soon the hall was filled with slurping and moaning sound. The man who came with the woman diligently went to transport the sack to the bigger carriage and waited for his master to come so that they could set off to the mansion which was on the central part of the city.

Meanwhile in a street next to the street where the pale looking middle aged man was residing Sean and Lucy were having their hot coffee while talking to each other. "Did Ms.Carmella decide on who to choose from amongst the spies to make an example off" asked Sean. Sean had previously suggested to Carmella and Lucy to make an example off a spy so that the others would no longer dare to betray her. This was a common strategy to shock and awe his opponent and also serve as deterrence against anyone with such thought. He had suggested this to make Rutherford loose his members of his faction.

"Yes, I had a talk with Carmella and we have come to a decision regarding the target. It is Phoebe Lawrence. She used to be our best friend but she had joined the faction of Rutherford. She had been leaking many of our information which she got from within the student council to Rutherford and has been sleeping with him. She is from a middle level family which has been degrading for the past few decades due to not having enough talented seedlings in their clan. You can kill her by next week" said Lucy while taking a sip from her coffee.

Sean who heard this nodded his head while saying "Consider her dead by next week" as he too continued to drink coffee.

Meanwhile after a few minutes of wait the pale middle aged man and the emancipated boy came out from the house along with the woman who had worn the robe a bit more neatly now while having a deep blush on her face and the trio went towards the carriage and sat in while the man who came with the woman started driving the carriage by making the horses move. They soon made their way into the streets of the eastern part and went towards the central part of the city. Since the carriage had a mark insignia of a family the enforcers did not stop them and their ride towards the central part of the city went smooth.
