Chapter 0.6 - Redesigning a soul

The overpopulation of characters on this realm may cause the Mimic Authorities to apprehend the characters and force them out of this realm and even worse exterminate their existence. But the thing is, this realm is newborn and along with newborn realms it will be difficult to pinpoint similarities with other characters in other realms. As long as changes and revisions are made to the character, the less that it will imitate the source of inspiration. At least that's what is likely to happen when making a character's soul.

The soul in each characters in this realm all has one soul structure even the vehicular transformers and mechas have souls (cores as referred to by an artificial intelligence humanoid computer), the only thing differentiating them from each other are their bodies and accessories (armaments as referred to by an artificial intelligence humanoid computer) and this very fact is known by the characters that manage this realm (Deities as referred to by an artificial intelligence humanoid computer).

I believe that this artificial intelligence humanoid computer (Reya) should get back to work. (I believe the author should use dialogs to make the word count longer as told by an intelligence humanoid computer). Never mind the AI companion pestering me to use dialogues. I looked up at the notes written in the previous chapters. Some characters are due for redesign. Some characters are even booked to merge with other souls.

As I call the first group of characters (TimeFrame). The very first group that entered this realm discussed about what would happen to them afterwards this merging process. I replied to them that some things will change along with their appearance, some abilities may be added or removed in the process, and it's a required payment to stabilize their soul structure. After this process is done their souls will have a unique design each only identifiable to one self.

After informing them and reassuring that this is a safe process. I called for another group, the individual from foreign origin (Luzo Llois), her sister (Ceilin Llois), their counter parts, an individual with a bladed big left hand (Emil Quarls), and an individual who wears a cloak (Note Tweny) while riding a dragon (Daenon). Looking at their worrisome eyes, their core story tells about the struggles of a certain being.

Falling into the sky, being revived from a war torn society into another world where a mad scientist continuously creates mad mechas to destroy the realm and making it a world without humans and only he will continue to live in it. But the story continues as fighters emerged from their hideouts and trained hard to awaken their abilities to fight off the invading mad machines set to destroy the world. A rather likely similar to an anime but the problem is the execution of the story.

The first group (TimeFrame) shed tears as they heard the core story of these individuals. But if they don't go along with process of merging, which character should be chosen as a replacement? I thought of some characters but they have their own stories that are more linked and compatible with other characters. The leader (Lien) of the first group suggested that their armor suits should be used instead. They aren't using it mostly since it's a combination from armor sets made in the past. A peculiar substitute for the characters but as long as there is value to the item it can be treated as a soul.

I approved of their choice and signaled the initiation of the process. Each character did a pose akin to a kamen rider summoning their armor, with each of them declaring the word "change". Each character becomes enveloped in cross lights, the armor formed out of nothingness and attaching itself to each of their bodies. After the transformation, the individual with no name (no name) started talking in otherworldly language. The individual with no name is the catalyst for activating the merging process.

Pentagrams appear below each of the characters in the first group. Their armors intact, glyphs and languages appear as circles around them. The patterns of a magic circle roam around the individual with no name. The characters became enveloped in the light emitting from the pentagrams, it started to glow and their simple outfits are now upgraded with details, with little armors and clothing accessories added. Their skills upgraded, weapons changed in design with added configurations to some of the characters, their abilities stayed the same.

The individual with no name stopped from casting, signifying the end of the process. Since the individual from foreign origin's core story along with the other characters is excluded from the merging process, their stories will take form in the future. The characters with the core story each congratulated the first group (TimeFrame changed to Protectors of the Earth) and had little talks with the first group's experience in merging after the light discussion they went back to their usual activities.

I called for the other group of characters listed on the note. Their group structure is the same as the first can only be called a coincidence I think not situation. They are the association (Breaker Association) that is similar in goal as the first group (Protectors of the Earth, formerly known as TimeFrame), protecting a realm from evil. The main difference of this group is their process of taking action and not showing a hint of mercy to evildoers.

Since their process is kind of villainous there merging partner is villainous in regard. The individual that controls dolls (Noter Vilent), the individual that can cast destruction (Reed), the individual that can cast shadow puppets (Lears Novan) and a character (Asoka Oyomi - Touhou OC) that is likely similar to a shoot em up minigame famous among the Japanese (Touhou). They won't inherit their evil sides. I do hope that they won't turn into villains after the merging process.

The individual with no name started casting, the pentagrams appeared below the characters, glyphs similar in design as the first merging process, and there is a change in the number of lines intersecting at the magic circle showing behind the individual with no name. The pentagram behind the caster glowed bright red and started to glitch then became stable the next second. The instant change seems to be undesirable and may change their personality, I hope not. But the confidence coming out from the aura of the caster (individual with no name) reassured me that this is a part of the process, I think…

The process ended in success, the characters doesn't emit overpowering aura or any malevolent intentions. Only the armor change and upgraded abilities they possess. Depending on how they use their upgraded abilities, it can greatly benefit the protection of a realm. As long as their sinister expressions go away, they can be treated and called main heroes.

The individual who possess many eyes (The Magician) looked at the situation and found himself curious about their abilities, the twins (Reve and Ever) warned him to not pry further in the process. Just watching the spectacle is enough. As there are overpowering characters on their side.

The merging process continues on. I called for the third set of characters to be merged. The two individuals that are meant to exist in another realm; the character that has an outfit designed for a certain character (An outfit design for a RWBY OC) and the character meant to be passed as an auto voice singer (Vocaloid OC – Sync Nezer). The individual with no name started his incantations, allowing another set of pentagrams below them. The process ended with them (The Seal Department) receiving a commander (Sync Nezer – Chief of The Seal Department) to manage their work assignments. This group of individual will work on the sealing casted on some of the characters as well checkups on locks in the realm, and to an if it would happen event, restrict the access of calamity level like beings to this realm.

I think this will continue on for a while. But after the third group's merging, the individual with no name asked for a break. I agreed to the individual's demand, I looked at the list of characters waiting to finalize each of their own redesign.
