'Help' Goes A Long Way

Orion positions himself in front of the countertop, placing the ingredients he had bought earlier in a tray. I stood beside him, peering at his hands as I wondered whether he often cooked for himself.

"Do you want to help out?" He grins as I glanced at his face.

"What should I do?" I replied enthusiastically, eager to prove that my cooking skills weren't non-existent like I would have to admit.

"Well, measure these out according to this recipe. When you're done, let me know. I'll prepare the other things in the meantime." Orion hands me a small piece of paper that lists out the weight necessary for flour and the amount of eggs needed as I blinked and accepted it.

I shifted my gaze towards him after glancing through the note, observing him struggling with opening an oyster before chuckling to myself and preparing what he told me to do. It didn't take too long for me to measure out the necessary ingredients before Orion checks up on me.
