Orion and I finally finished making the 'surprise'. The result ended up being something that could easily pass for a meal served in a fine dining establishment.

The dough turned out to be pasta dough which he then carefully flattened out and ran through a KitchenHelp. It was rather fun watching him dealing with the pasta since he had to treat it delicately lest it breaks or tangles.

Watching him prepare our meal and helping him turned out more entertaining than I expected. And as we set the table before dining, I couldn't help but smile.

"You weren't kidding when you said you were practising." I grinned as he smirks while flaunting his hair with pride.

"Of course! I really took it to heart when you said I could only cook one dish. So I've been watching some videos and putting my skills to work." He pouts before tilting his head innocuously to the side.
