"Hey! Are you a Freshman? You look lost."
Nathen had noticed Damien walking around in circles earlier.
Damien took a step back as he could smell the breath of the person who was talking to him, which smelled minty and chocolaty.
After taking another step back, he was able to take a good look at the person in front of him. He was wearing a casual shirt and sweatpants, but the thin shirt wasn't able to hide his good figure.
His face was just as well chiseled as the rest of his body, in a way that would make foes fear him and friends want to approach him. A piece carved out meticulously, most likely molded by Hephaestus himself as he looked at other gods for inspiration.
When Damien saw that he was still looking at him he realized that this person had asked him a question.
He was still in meek mode, so he subconsciously lowered his head and then gave a short nod.
"Yeah, a little." Even with his head down, he was able to hear the low chuckle that came from the hot stranger.
"Well, where are you headed to then?" He asked.
"The third housing building apparently…" Damien mumbled, wanting to tear holes into his map.
Completely dissatisfied. (-- ε --'' )
'Cute,' Nathen thought.
"Oh, that's great, I'm going the same way, so I'll take you there."
Damien nodded in agreement and started walking again, but then stopped when he realized that the man wasn't leading the way.
"Aren't we going?"
"You might want to turn around first because the building is this way," he let out another low chuckle as he thought back to the lost little kitten who had been going around in circles earlier.
Damien's eyes widened a bit and he became a little flustered as he took out his phone again to look at the map.
Too adorable ( ˃̵ ᴗ ˂̵)!
"Ah just drop the map, it has obviously not been of help or assistance to you. I already said I was taking you so let's go. You must be tired already from all the walking." The brown-haired man's lips tightened as he clearly tried to suppress another chuckle.
"By the way, my name is Nathen."
"Damien."

Damien and Nathen made their way to the third housing building located on Block C.
Damien had his head hung low enough to not see all the people who were looking their way, but high enough to see the steps of the person he was following.
Nathen looked back at Damien every once in a while, to make sure he was still following up all the way until they reached their destination.
"We're here." Nathen patted Damien on the back. Though he was shorter, it didn't look that way. Damien's head was so low that his extra few centimeters quickly became negligible.
"Hey. Almighty! How come you came back to the dorm so early? I thought they were starting training early. Who is this? Someone new?" Dave was sitting in the common area of the housing buildings facing the entrance when he saw Nathen coming in with another person that he had never seen before.
"Nah, can't go to practice today because of the assembly, they get everyone a dismissal by sacrificing me." Nathen's tone was that of an abandoned puppy and he made himself look even more pitiful as he drooped his eyelashes.
Damien wanted to part ways with Nathen after thanking him when he saw that there were other people waiting for Nathen. Just as he was about to excuse himself, he witnessed this incredible performance.
"Well, you can't blame them. Just think of all the times they were sent like a lamb to the slaughter. Just how many people had to be sacrificed just so that they could finally give you a title."
For the people who weren't in the know, this conversation only got more confusing.
After Nathen saw that Damien was tilting his head in confusion, he used this opportunity to change the topic.
"Oh right! This is Damien, he's going to be living here now. A freshman." Nathen introduced Damien with some hand gestures.
"Oh, congrats on reaching the coolest housing area on campus. Which room were you allocated? Do you need help finding your way? By the way, I'm Dave."
He was about to continue his introduction when he noticed that the Almighty was turned to face the other side while covering his face, seemingly to hold in his laughter, but he didn't remember saying anything funny.
Even though it was completely unintentional, Dave's mention of finding the directions along with Damien was just funny to Nathen.
Damien also recognized his troubles but seeing as there were signs that indicated the room numbers at every hall, he believed he would be fine.
"Thank you for the offer, but I'll just go myself." And just like that, Damien pulled his suitcase along as he left for the horizon.
Just kidding.
Damien looked at the signs, making sure that he followed all of the correct ones so that he wouldn't need to ask for help again.
On the 4th floor of the housing building, he was able to find his room, room 8080. The numbering system sounded a little strange, but if you were to look at the other two housing buildings before it, it would make more sense.
After he made it, he took out the key that he had been handed back to the administration's office.
He could see that there would be another person living here with him from the number of beds, the one that was but a mattress right now was his, the other one, his roommate's already had the sheets spread out.
The room inside seemed very tidy and clean at first.
There was one bed that already had its sheet in place with the duvet folded to one side. The sheets were all a shade of wine red that matched the color of the roofing.
Yet the desk in front of the bed was an absolute mess. Even with so much space in the room, his roommate's side seemed very cramped.
From textbooks to sports equipment and then to the uniforms of all shapes and patterns, Damien wasn't able to tell just what kind of person he was going to be living with for the next few years.
Was it a tidy and studious person or a messy athlete with no time to organize his life?
It was a mystery.
'I mean the closet is right there, why doesn't he just stuff his clothes in there?' Damien thought. It seemed that this person's entire closet was on his desk or on the floor beneath it.
Damien decided that he was going to ignore it for now as it was none of his business, it was just aesthetically displeasing.
He laid his luggage on the floor to take out his sheets and just as he was about to spread them out, he heard the door open.
"Hey! Are you my new roommate... Oh, it's you. Damien, I never thought we were going to meet up so soon. Never would have guessed that you were going to be my roommate. I guess bringing you here was really on the way." Nathen was just going back to his room to get his papers when he heard movements inside.
He was going to introduce himself when he realized that they already knew each other.
Damien turned around to see the person that had brought him here, Nathen.
"I guess I should reintroduce myself if we're going to be living together now. I'm Nathaniel and I'm going to your roommate for the next two years. I'm a third-year now, so if you ever need any directions, you can just ask me," giving the freshman a wink.
Nathen chuckled at his own humor as he sat down on his bed.
He was the only one laughing.
"I get it, could you stop mentioning my skills at getting to the places I want to go? I'm, here aren't I?" Damien was already tired of hearing it.
"Hm, you're right. I'll stop. Need help with the sheets?"
Damien was momentarily startled that he agreed so quickly but quickly regained his composure.
"Yeah, thanks." He wanted to get along with the people he met here, so his roommate seemed like a good start, plus he seemed to be well connected.
"By the way, I've been wondering, why do they call you Almighty?" Damien pushed on the sheets to straighten them with Nathen's help.
"Oh, so you've been wondering about me?" Nathen found Damien very interesting. Though he didn't seem like much at first, he could tell have this freshman had a lot to hide.
Nathen didn't have any plans to pry at first because he thought he was going to be more of a passer-by, but now, things had changed.
"Why, you don't like it?" Damien unexpectedly countered.
