Our first escorting quest to the Fraser's Kingdom!

A week has passed. Our points are 255. 45 points left to be Tier 3 class. My training with Shive is getting worse, but my instinct is almost 90% accurate and I can finally wielding the black wooden sword. Since then I have been using the black wooden sword for sparring, my body felt like air. My reflexes as fast as Shive's current speed, sometimes I can read her movements. Since then, she's increasing her speed and strengths. After we finished the training, we went to Gyne as usual, but this time Marie is waiting for us at the door and says,

"Val, I have 2 good news and 1 bad news."

I ask,

"What is it, Miss Marie?"

She replies,

"The first good news is, you, Vivi, and Kiel can get a Promotion Quest by doing this urgent quest, the second one is, the quest is to escort a noble family to Bulark's Kingdom, so you can meet your parents. The bad news is, it's an A+ Grade quest, which is you need to find another party to join you for the quest. Before you give me the answer, let's get in and go upstairs to talk more about the details."

I'm excited to hear more about the quest, but finding another party is not easy, especially an escort quest and it's an A+ grade, and Bulark's Kingdom is pretty far from Crude. 3-4 days journey, excluded the dangers from bandits and monsters on our way there. She is teasing Zee while laughing. He says,

He is shaking his head. Then Marie says,

"Alright then, let's meet up tomorrow morning here to introduce you guys to them. Ohh and lunch is on me today" Grinning while leaving.

I can't wait for this, I guess I'm gonna sleep early today. We ate lunch together and then we all left and preparing for tomorrow's journey. On our way to the Inn, Vivi says,

"You must be really happy with this, don't get too excited okay? or you unable to sleep tonight." With her cute smile.

And then Kiel says,

"WAAAAA I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR MOTHER!!! I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE THE FAMOUS ARCH WIZARD!!!"

I reply,

"I guess it is not me that unable to get some sleep from excitements tonight."

I and Vivi are laughing at Kiel's reaction to her cuteness.

The next morning, it's still early. I, Vivi, and Kiel prepared ourselves and wearing our full equipment, we don't want to disappoint our clients if they looking at us with just a shirt and boots. On our way to Gyne, we see Zee and everyone wearing white long sleeves shirts, black gloves, black pants, and black boots. Even though it's not that fancy, but they are looking cool as always, I'm wondering why they're wearing the same outfit. Then we approached them and I ask,

"Mister Zee, why are you guys wearing the same outfit?"

He replies,

"Ohh yeah this is our signature, our party's name is Black and White. So we wearing a black and white outfit. You should name your party and register it on the guild."

I just realized that we haven't named our party or even register on the guild, we discussed it and thinking what name is the best for our party. Then Edith says,

"You know, the other adventurers already have a name for you 3. They called you all the eminent youngster because you guys always surprised them and for beating the odds."

We're looking at each other and think that it's not a bad name, in fact, we like it so much and agreed that from now on we are The Eminent.

When we arrived at Gyne, we see 2 carriages. We went inside and we see Marie with a man, a woman, and a young man. Marie told us to come and then introduce them,

"This is Mister Rorin Myord, and this is his wife Misses Clementine Myord, and this is their son Ronan Myord. Mister and Misses Myord, these people are the escorts that I told you about earlier. Zee and his party.

Zee 24 years old is a Swordsman.

Edith 24 years old is a Priest.

Shive 24 years old is a Knight.

Den 24 years old is a Fighter.

Secra 24 years old is a Bard.

Vex 24 years old is a Jester.

And this is Val and his party.

Val Belliot 15 years old is a Swordmaster.

Viviette Leyhem 15 years old is a High Priest.

Kiel Farhan 15 years old is an Arch Mage.

I know that you think they're still low Tiers, but I can trust my life to all of them without worrying about anything."

I can tell their expressions are doubting all of us, then Rorin says,

"If you said so, I believe you. I know you are an experienced woman in combat since the first time we met. Well then Misters and Missus, we will be in your care."

Before we go, I told Marie to register our party and name it The Eminent. She laughed and then go to her desk and registered our party. Then she says,

"Val when you completed the quest, go to the Bulark adventurer guild. You'll meet a man, his name is Yurlum Hideo. He is the master guild there and a friend of mine, just tell him I said hi and you can get a promotion quest from him and you can change class there, so good luck and go. Everyone's waiting for you outside."

I went outside and everyone already inside the carriage, we said goodbye to Marie and we left Crude village. On our way to Bulark's Kingdom, Vivi and Kiel fell asleep because they didn't get enough sleep, I guess they're too excited to be on a journey, while Edith flirting with Zee, Den sleeping, Secra playing her harp and singing, Vex is humming to the melody, and Shive on top of the carriage staring at the sky. I approached Shive and ask,

"Worrying your people Miss Shive?"

She replies,

"Always."

I ask again,

"Is your hometown far away from here?"

She replies,

"Yes, it's far on the north."

We talked a bit then I go back down and get some sleep as well. We stopped for a lunch break, Myord family having lunch near the tree. Shive called me and threw me the wooden sword and I picked it up, and she says,

"You think we will stop training for 4 days?"

I smiled and ready my stance, and Den as the supervisor, while Vivi studying with Edith and Kiel training with Vex on the other side. Myord family watching me and Shive while eating their lunch. I ready my defensive stance, Den giving the signal. Shive disappeared, I turned around and blocked her attack. I grabbed her arm and kicked her leg, but it did nothing. She knees my chest but I managed to block it with my arm, I flew from the impact and Shive immediately jumped and she's above me, I spun and land on the ground with my hand and pushed myself up then flipped backward. She grabbed my leg before I can land, I throw a kick to her head and she blocked it with her sword, and removed her other hand from my leg that she's holding, then I immediately pushed her away with my leg and rolled over, then stand up and ready my defensive stance again. This time she spread her legs and pointing her sword at me, my instinct telling me to run away but I don't know where to run, it feels like no matter where I go, she will hit me no matter what. So I run towards her and a split second after she disappeared I will roll sideways. But when she disappeared, she already stabbed me then grab my neck and slam me to the ground. I threw up blood and she broke my backbone again. Vivi immediately chants the recovery spell and picks me up. Myord family dropped their jaws from watching my training, I smiled and apologized for disturbing their peaceful lunch. Then Ronan approached us and says,

"Wow Miss, you're so strong. You too, Mister!"

I reply,

"She is strong but I'm not, Mister Ronan."

Then he said to his father that he wants to be a Knight like Shive when he's old enough, to protect everyone from bad people. Zee laughed and gave Ronan a wooden sword and playing with him. We all watching him playing with Ronan while we're eating our lunch. After we are all done eating, we continue our journey to Bulark's Kingdom.

At night. We set a campfire and a tent, while we making our own dinner from the hunt we did earlier. Secra playing her harp for the Myord family, they enjoy their meals while listening to Secra's melody. It's midnight and Myord family is asleep, we all men patrolling for the night until morning, where the ladies having a good night's sleep. Zee approached me and says,

"After we finished patrolling and eating breakfast, get some sleep. From now on I'll train you to do projectile attacks at lunch break."

I nodded and he left back to his position.
