CHAPTER 4

The door was opened showing Taehyung smiling softly at you. He let you in and you both made your way towards the kitchen. They were all there, waiting for you. You apologized for being late and you sat down between Jungkook and Taehyung. At first was really awkward, but then you start talking more and more, realizing they were great people.

"Now I know why my best friends love you so much." You said, laughing at Jin's dad joke.

"Wait, your friends know us?" Hoseok asked you. You nodded and you explained how your friends became Army, you tried to remember special details because that makes the story more interesting and funny.

"So you already knew us mhm?" Jimin said, smirking at you. "You had advantage." He said, joking.

"Kind of... Taehyung doesn't speak about you so much and when my friends are talking about you I don't listen to them."

"Hey, why not? I'm sure they say nice things."

"Well, I'm not interested in you." You said, shrugging.

They all looked at you with puppy eyes.

"Don't worry, you will." Jimin said, flirting.

"If you keep flirting you will end up with a black eye." You said, smiling. He looked at you shocked, he didn't expect this answer. He asked you if you will hit him, but you said your boyfriend will do it for you.

They started talking again, some of them were making fun of Jimin, but you weren't feeling well because of your boyfriend. You two started dating when you were 14, at that time everything was new to you and you loved him so much, and you still do, but you have a feeling he's cheating on you, but you don't have any proof.

"Where's the bathroom?" You interrupted them, you felt like crying.

"Uhm upstairs... let me show it to you." Seokjin said.

You followed him upstairs and went into the bathroom. You cried, silently, you didn't want them to hear you cry, you thought the reason you were crying for was stupid, but it wasn't. You washed your face and came out of the bathroom, but you didn't expect see Seokjin sitting in the floor.

"Wha-What are you doing here?"

"I thought you were feeling sad and I wasn't wrong."

You looked at him, confused.

He stand up. "I heared you cry. Is everything okay?" You looked down, you didn't know what to say to him. "It's okay, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to but, may I ask if we did something? Maybe we offended you-" You didn't let him finish.

"No, you didn't do anything wrong, it's nothing, really." You said, trying to smile to make him believe you, but you ended up looking down instead, playing with your fingers because of your nerves, you didn't want anyone to know about your stupid thoughts.

"Okay." He said, but you didn't convince him, he knew something was wrong with you. He wanted to help you, but he didn't know why, maybe it was because he's like a big brother to the boys and he always helps them when they need it. He shooked his head and looked at your eyes for a few seconds trying to figure out something, but he finally said "Let's go."

Tomorrow morning you were in class, but you weren't paying attention because you were thinking about Dylan, your boyfriend. He always sends you messages in the morning and at night, but not yesterday nor today. You were so worried, you always thought about him like an angel, but maybe you were wrong.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Ashley asked you, wishpering, cutting off your thoughts.

"Nothing."

"Don't lie to me, we'll talk later."

Sometimes, when Ashley gets in a protective mood she scares you. She cares so much about you, as much as you care about her, but you know if you tell her about Dylan maybe cheating on you, she will do whatever it takes to find the truth and that truth scares you. Besides, she will kill him and then you both will have a problem.

All the way back home she asked you about your concerns, but you denied it everything. You said you were busy and you needed to catch up on some subjects. You thought your excuses had worked, but it made things even worse.

Ashley was in front of her neighbours or her idols, she was still thinking about it. She knocked and waited for someone to open the door. After a few minutes Taehyung opened it. He was looking at her with a suspicious look and she started to get nervous, Kim fucking Taehyung was standing in front of her, she though she would pass out, but she pulled herself together and tried to speak like a normal person.

"Uhm... you are Kim Taehyung, right?" She thought she was stupid for asking that and Taehyung said nothing, so she kept talking. "I'm- I'm worried about Y/n, I know you are her- her friend too and I thought that you maybe knew something." He looked at her, wondering about what she was talking about.

"What are you talking about? She's fine."

"No, no she isn't. I know her and today she was off of everything."

"Maybe she's tired."

"She didn't pay attention in class."

"I didn't do it either." He shrugged.

"Why are you being so cold? I'm not a crazy fan, I'm just worried about her and I thought you may could help me." She said in disbelieve. Taehyung sighed.

"Who are you? I don't even know you."

"Her friend."

"And?"

"Best friend." He was getting in her nerves.

"Oh, that friend!" He said, laughing, realizing she was his neighbour.

"She- she talked about me?"

"Did she...?" He didn't know what to say, maybe he will screwed up if he says something he wasn't allowed to say. "Don't worry, I'll talk to her, I'm sure is nothing."

"You sure?" She asked, feeling pathetic again. "Yeah, you are." She sighed.

"Well, so... see ya." He said, closing the door.

"Who were you talking to?" Namjoon asked.

"Oh, Y/n's best friend."

"Oh, she is a fan, right? Does she wants to see us?" Jimin said.

"Don't keep dreeming, I'm his bias Jimin-ah." He said laughing and playing with Jimin's hair.

"Sometimes I hate you." Jimin said, walking off of him.

"But I'm your soulmate, you can't hate me." Taehyung said, following him to the kitchen.

"Does it mean he hates himself too?" Jungkook asked, with his banana milk in his right hand.

They keep talking about silly stuff until they left their house, they have an important meeting tonight.
