CHAPTER 6

Y/N

I was at the park hiding myself behind a tree because I didn't want him to see me yet, I was not menatlly ready to have this conversation, but I couldn't stay there forever. While I was getting closer to him my hands started to get sweaty, my heart beats increased as well as my breaths and my legs started shaking.

"Hi." I said, almost inaudibly. He stared at me with his deep blue eyes, then he hugged me, very tight, I didn't know what to do, so I hugged him back.

"I missed you so much." He said, he was still hugging me and I couldn't see his face,  I broke the hug, I needed to look him at his eyes.

"Where have you been? I didn't see you around that much and you never had time to talk to me. You were avoiding me?" I said, without hesitation.

"No, babe, I would never do that to you, I've been so busy." He said, staring at me, I saw a little pain in his eyes.

"Mhm..." I mumbled, looking away.

"You don't believe me, do you?" He said, with his arms crossed.

"You've never been so busy before, what were you doing? Why you didn't tell me anything?"

"I was scared." He said, looking at the floor.

"Scared of what?" I asked, worried. He looked at me, but he didn't say anything. I stared at him, I didn't know what was going on, he seemed so vulnerable. I placed my right hand on his shoulder and caressed it softly before hugging him.

"You can tell me anything, you know that, right?" I whispered in his ear, he just nodded, hugging me back.

We decided to go home because it was freezing outside and Dylan needed to explain me a lot of things, but I wasn't worried anymore about him cheating on me, I was glad I didn't explain my thoughts to my best friends. But sometimes we forget that things aren't always what we think they are.

While Dylan was waiting for me in my room I was in the kitchen making tea for the both of us. I was going upstairs when the doorbell rang, I rolled my eyes and sighed because I was almost in my bedroom and I'd have to go to the hall, open the door and deal with whoever it was.

After walking into my room and letting the cups of tea on my desk I went downstairs again. I opened the door expecting to see my parents or my sister, sometimes they forgot the keys, but it was Jin. I wondered why was he here while I was trying to analyze his face, but he wasn't moving a muscle and I remembered what had happened this morning, I was feeling so embarrassed. We were going to say somthing but Dylan called me from upstairs.

"My boyfriend is here now, do you need anything?" I said politely, I didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

"Uhm... Well, I was worried about you." He said, playing with his fingers. He was worried about me? Why? We weren't even friends.

"Why?" I asked, with confusion in my face.

"Because you looked so sad this morning." He was staring at my eyes. At first,  I didn't understand why, he told me about it after sometime of being friends.

"Uhm, look, I actually wanted to apolo-"

"Babe, who is it?" Dylan said, I made a little jump and looked behind me, I didn't know he was there, I didn't hear him coming. He wrapped his arm around my waist and stared at Jin, it looked like fire was coming out of his eyes.

"I'm Kim Seokjin, Y/n's neighbour." Jin said, nicely, but he never stopped staring at Dylan, too. His stare was different though, from the way he stared at me.

"I'm Y/n's boyfriend." Dylan said, his voice was monotonous and he tight his arm more to my skin.

They stared at each other for a few seconds, but then Jin looked at me. " I'll talk to you later, Y/n." He said, I just nodded and he left.

Once in my room, Dylan and I started an argument, because I was tired of his jealous behavior, it was not the first time and I know it wouldn't be the last.

"Why are you always like this?" I was starting to raise my voice, but I wasn't screaming, I didn't  like when people screamed at me and I didn't like doing it either.

"It's the last time I ask you this Y/n, why was he here? Were you cheating on me?" He said, I could see the veins on his neck swell, his face was getting red, I didn't like this Dylan, we had never fought like this. When I was catching my breath, he abruptly hit the door with his fist, still looking at me, his eyes getting darker.

"Answer me!" He screamed, hitting the door again.

"Don't yell at me!" I screamed back.

Dylan started getting closer, while I was walking backwards until my back hit the desk, he was staring at me, smirking mischievously, I was scared, I never had seen him like this.

"You know what?" Dylan started talking, while he was staring at his nails like nothing. "I was about to tell you that my grandmother was sick and I had to take care of her in the hospital, but you know what? It's not true and you know it, you know why I was avoiding you, but you are too naive for-" He couldn't finish his speech, he got interrupted by me throwing tea all over his face.

"Get out." I said, my voice was cold, I was not showing any emotions at that moment because I wasn't scared anymore, he was disgusting. "Didn't you hear me? Get out of my room, get out of my house and get out of my life!" I said, I felt my face getting red. He just stayed there and laughed evilly, that's it, I couldn't take it anymore. I started hitting him with one of the books that was on my desk. "Get lost, Dylan!" I said, while hitting him.

Finally, he left my house and I ran towards Taehyung's house, I didn't care anymore if we were upset with each other, I needed him, he was my best friend.

I started ringing the doorbell like crazy because I didn't want to wait 5 minutes there, I was with my slippers on and I forgot to take my jacket with me. Namjoon opened the door quickly, his little eyes now were big, but they got softer when he saw me. What he was thinking? I thought I had scared him.

"Namjoon, where's Taehyung?!" I asked, jumping a little because the cold was killing me. He let me in, before closing the door behind him. He looked at me from head to toe, maybe he was thinking that I was crazy, but it was an emergency.

"He's in his r-" He tried to say, but I interrupted him.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said, running upstairs to Taehyung's room.
