And I Haven't Heard Nearly Enough About You

"Are you okay, Eden?" Jonah asked in concern.

Eden realized she had been lost in thought and hadn't said anything in response to him. "I'm fine. Just thinking."

"About what?"

She didn't want to say what she had been thinking in its entirety. He had already been upset about her lack of faith in him when she waffled about moving in once her apartment booted her out. She ended up being partially honest.

"How much I love you." It had been what kickstarted her rather depressing train of thought, after all.

Jonah pulled back from the hug and rubbed her cheek with his thumb with a soft look in his eyes before kissing her. "I love you too. Don't worry about tomorrow anymore, okay?"

Eden was about to say that it would be kind of hard for her to do but she didn't get the chance because he kissed her more deeply this time. She felt herself floating away as his fingers became tangled in her hair and the kisses became more urgent.
