Day 4: First love...

"I love you, Nate!" Dian told me as he hugged me tightly, I truly love those moments...

Dian and I are dating ever since high school, but I like him way back ever since we were kids, and when he confessed to me, I feel glad that my feelings can be reciprocated...

"Welcome home," I told him when he entered our apartment, he looked tired, probably because of his busy schedule, I hugged him and then I kissed him.

"How was your day love?" I asked him as I went to the kitchen to get him a glass of water, he sat on the chair at the dining table before he answered.

"It's tiring at the hospital, there are a lot of patients there," he told me as laid his head on the table, I gave him the water, and then I sat in front of him.

"You should rest then, go sleep in our room after you drank the water, then I'll wake you up when it's time to eat," I told him as I ruffled his hair.

As he stood up and he started walking towards our room, I hugged him from behind.

"Good work," I told him, he turned around, and then he smiled at me, and then he went inside.

When Dian got inside the room, I sat on the dining table...

'There's another smell coming from him, a woman's cologne perhaps?' I thought as I sat on the chair for a while before getting up to start cooking, I don't want to be reasonable so maybe that smell is from work...

I hope...

After cooking for a while, I went inside to wake Dian up, I saw him all crumpled up in bed snoring, I chuckled while watching him, maybe work is indeed tiring.

I looked at the watch, and it's 12:00 PM now, that's why I went inside the room to wake him up again.

"Love, wake up, Let's eat now," I told him as I nudged him lightly.

"Mmm~" he moaned as he turned on the other side, I chuckled, and then I started nudging him again.

"The food is getting cold, wake up love," I told him while nudging him again, this time, he opened his eyes.

"Good afternoon" I greeted him and then I gave him a peck on the forehead.

"Yeah... What's for lunch?" He asked me as he stood up stretching himself while yawning.

"I cooked your favorite food, you like curry right?" I asked him, he then turned to me, and then he smiled brightly.

"Thank you babe!" he said as he kissed me on the cheeks, he kissed my cheeks, he went out of the room and I followed him of course.

We ate lunch and by the time we finished eating It's time for him to go to work.

"I'll help you with the dishes," he told me as he stood beside me, I chuckled and then I kissed him on the lips.

"It's alright love, I can handle it, you're gonna be late for work," I told him as I smiled at him gently, he looked at the clock, and then he took a bath immediately.

I washed the dishes, as I wash the dishes, I kept on thinking about the peculiar smell coming from him when he got home, I know I shouldn't do that since he's a doctor and a lot of people come close to him, but I can't help getting a bad feeling about it you know...

It scares me...

After washing the dishes, I went inside the room to find Dian struggling with his clothes, I saw that his tie is a bit crooked that's why I came in front of him, and then I fixed his tie.

"Haha, there you go love, have a nice day at work today," I told him, and then I kissed his forehead and cheeks.

"Thank you, babe, you too," he said as he kissed me on the lips and then he went outside.

When he got out, I sat on the couch, and there I saw his phone, he left it, I immediately got up and then I went outside to give him his phone.

"Love!" I called out as I saw him getting on a Taxi, when I caught up to him, I gave him his phone.

"You forgot your phone," I told him, he took his phone from me.

"Thank you, babe," he said and then he went inside and the Taxi left.

I went back home and then I started cleaning and then I opened my laptop to start working, I work from home you see, my secretary will just come here if there are any files that needed my signature.

After working, I looked at the time, and it's 8:00 PM, I texted Dian to asks if he ate dinner already, and when he replied no, I immediately got up, and then I started cooking.

"Where are we going sir?" the driver asked when I got in the Taxi, I gave the address to the hospital where Dian is working, and then we left.

"Good evening boss," the guard greeted me when I got to the hospital, I smiled, and then when I got in, I went to the reception to ask about Dian.

"Excuse me miss, where's the office of Dr. Montecarlos?" I asked her, when she looked at me she looked startled.

"Boss, It's on the right-wing on the outpatient section," she told me, I nodded, and then I proceeded in going to his office.

When I got there, I heard a voice, a woman's voice to be exact, at first I thought it was a patient until I heard her next words.

"Hon, when do you plan to break up with him?" the girl asked, I froze up in front of his office. 'What is she saying?'

"Soon hon, just trust me, I didn't even love him anyways, I just answered his confession because he's rich" I heard Dian's voice answering the question, I can feel myself tearing up.

I clenched my fist before going in.

When I got in, I saw them making out...

"Babe I-" Dian suddenly stood up when he saw me, I looked at him and then I smiled sadly.

"We'll talk later when you get home," I told him as I placed the container on the table, I walked out and then I went home, no, to the apartment I used to call home I suppose.

I sat on the couch in the Living room, when I heard the door opening, I looked at the door, and it's Dian...

"When did the cheating start?" I asked him when he sat at the chair opposite to mine.

"Ever since I started the internship at the hospital" he answered as he avoided my gaze.

"I see... I'm a fool aren't I?" I laughed bitterly as I said that. God, I want to cry so bad I thought as I looked at him.

"Nate I-" He tried justifying himself but I raised my hand to stop him. It hurts, It hurts so bad that I want to die.

"It's fine, at least I've been enlightened, don't worry about your job, you can keep working at the hospital, and... you can keep the apartment, I'm moving out tomorrow, I'm sorry Dian, It seems I didn't know anything about you at all," I told him as I proceeded to our room to get my clothes.

After packing my clothes, I got out of the room, and he looked at me with guilt in his eyes.

"Where are gonna sleep tonight?" he asked me, I started putting my shoes on.

"Don't worry, I can sleep at a hotel tonight" I told him as I went outside the door.

"Goodbye, Dian Mikael Montecarlos" I told him, and then I left.

Now... you will truly be happy... I thought as I walked away from the apartment building...
