"Come on, Mahalala we have to hurry up," I told Iokua as I pulled his hand, he followed me as we walked towards the sea.
"Calm down, ʻĀnela," He told me as he laughed, I looked at him, and then I smiled at him.
"Sorry Mahalala, it's just exciting you know; we can finally go stargazing after a long time!" I told him, he chuckled as he took the lead, and then we went to our usual spot and we laid there, it was a flat large rock near a tree, and we always spend our time there.
"Stars are really beautiful, right Mahalala?" I told him as I lay on his hand and as we looked at the stars, looking at the stars is like our tradition, we would always look at this beautiful view every night.
"Indeed." He said as he hugged me in his arms, I hugged him back of course.
We stayed there for a few hours, and then when It got late, we went down from the rock, and then we went home to each of our houses, Iokua went with me until I got home, and when I went inside the gate, he left to go home.
I went inside the house and then I prepared to go to bed and then I slept.

Today, Iokua and I decided to go downtown for our date, we stopped at an Ice cream store to get some Ice cream.
"What flavor are you getting Mahalala?" I asked him as we placed our order.
"I want Strawberry ʻĀnela," he told me while smiling, I turned to the counter, and then I told him about our order.
After we got our Ice Cream, Iokua and I took a stroll near the sea while eating our Ice Cream.
"Imagine, Mahalala, we actually stayed together for 5 years now, I really am the luckiest girl on the planet, because I found you," I told him as I eat my Ice cream. I looked at him and then he smiled at me.
"ʻĀnela, It's the same for me, I made you mine, you don't know how happy I was when you said yes to me, I felt that I used all of my luck just to make you say yes," he told me as he hugged me and then he kissed my forehead.
We held each other's hand as we walked beside the sea, I really am the luckiest girl because I found my Mahalala, my Happiness, my Love.

Time skip…
"Congratulations you two!" I greeted Iokua and Alani. I looked at Iokua who used to be my Mahalala, and now? He's not anymore.
"Thank you Ailani!" Alani thanked me as she kissed my cheeks. After she kissed my cheeks, she and Iokua went away from the table where I was seated, and then they moved on to the next.
I looked at how happy Alani and Iokua looked as they stood side by side, I smiled energetically at them…
I thought that we would grow old together, guess I was wrong, but…
I'm glad, that Iokua found his happiness, he found someone he could spend his life with…
But sometimes, I just can't help but think, where did it all go wrong?
When did it start going downhill?
Why didn't I realized that Iokua isn't happy with me anymore?
There are a lot of why's and What If's in my mind, but looking at the two of them, looking at their happy faces, made me realize something…
That Iokua and I really are not meant for each other, we did our best, but it seems that we can't fight it any longer…
After the reception of their wedding, after eating, I went to the newlyweds and then I shook Iokua's hand and I kissed Alani's cheeks.
"Again, Congratulations you two, I pray that you guys have a blissful marriage life," I told them.
"Thank you Ailani!" Alani thanked me as she held both of my hands. I held them too and then I smiled.
"I want to stay for a little longer, but I can't leave my restaurant closed for a long time, so I have to go back," I told them, Alani nodded and so I went out of the reception area.
When I got far from the reception area, near the parking lot, I couldn't hold it in anymore, I couldn't hold my tears.
It's finally over…
The closure I need, I can finally move on with my life…
As I was about to enter my car, I heard a familiar voice behind me…
"Ailani!" The voice called out, I turn around and then I saw Iokua.
I smiled at him, and then he stopped in his tracks…
"Thank you for the memories, thank you for letting me feel being loved by someone, I hope that you'll be happy by Alani's side, thank you Iokua," I told him as I smiled after I thank him, I entered my car and then I left.
Goodbye, Mahalala…
Go, for your happiness, and enjoy your life…
