...

Walking along the long corridor in the mansion, Patel couldn't help but admire the structure beauty of the mansion, It has an old vibe but a lively atmosphere in it, She stopped and stared at the portraits that were hanging on the wall, Patel stepped closer to the portrait of a woman, She recognized it, It was a portrait of Ethan dead wife, She had met that women the day she tried to free them.

The image of the woman dead body appeared in her mind, She couldn't forget that day, Placing her hand on the portrait as she stared at the beautiful woman in it, It wasn't her attention for her to be killed, She only wanted to help them escape, But she failed and it pains her, She hoped that she can turn back time and correct her mistake, But it's an impossible wish.

Patel removed her hand and stepped away from the portraits. She was about to go back to her room when she caught the sight of Ethan coming up the stairs. Their eyes met and both of them stared at each other with hatred. She didn't hate anyone in her life as much as this man.

Ethan had thought that this little shape would back down once she saw him, But it turned out that he was wrong. She wasn't easy to scare shape.

Patel was the first one to end this battle of staring and walked away going back to her room.

Ethan chuckled darkly as he walked towards his room too.

"Interesting." He muttered under his breath.

...

The next day, Patel woke up earlier than everyone. She hadn't left her room because she didn't want to bump into that man.

Patel got off the bed and walked towards the window. Opening it, She was welcomed with the morning fresh breeze. She took a deep breath inhaling that fresh breeze to clear her mind. Yesterday she hadn't slept well, Seeing that man ruined her night.

Yesterday she tried to act as if she wasn't scared in front of him and stared back at him, But the truth is, She was shaking to her core. Once she arrived at her room, She made sure to lock it well out of fear.

Patel sighed as she thought about her life and everything going on in it, She needs to leave this place, Staying here won't help her, It will only cause her more pain, But then again, Where she will go, She has no one except for Jacob and her mother, But right now she is clueless about their whereabouts.

Patel was drinking her coffee and staring outside the window when she saw Noah walking towards the mansion. He seemed to have seen her and looked up waving his hand to her and she did too out of politeness.
